Then what ON EARTH are you doing on a conspiracy site?
Good question...I wished I had an answer for ya but I don't. That said this forum does not strike me as a conspiracy forum to me its more of a general forum....As a lot of the forums are geared more toward general stuff than they point to conspiracy like secret societies etc..

But i do agree with you in regard to the 50s timeline because of Operation Paperclip that brought in German scientists and their anti-gravity technology, among other things.
The Germans recovered a craft in 1936. That's why they were ahead of everybody else. Here's an interesting thing they discovered, which ties into high spin liquid mercury plasma propulsion. They started firing balls of mercury at the allied bombers trying to interfere with the electronics on board. These are responsible for some of the Foo Fighter reports, not all though. I have to believe that they got the idea from UFO's as there have been just too many reports of having the ability to shut down car engines, disarm the weapons panels in fighters, and even shutting down nuclear missile silos. That's a lot of power my friends. Nifty tricks.

Now somewhere along the line, there has to be a tipping point on even anecdotal evidence. As I like to say, when pondering these things: If it's not a thing, then why is it a thing? After all, a rumor that doesn't die isn't a rumor...If none of this stuff is real, then why is there so much info available about it? Why do so many people (and it's millions now) have the similar stories? So many people who have been flat-out hands-on involved have come out publicly with the truth and yet still are disbelieved? I mean, peoples, we're getting into statistics here. And logic. It's impossible that 100% of all The UFO Evidence, Testimony, Encounters, photos,, videos, etc is faked. Just on statistics alone. And if even 5% is true, well that should be a real reality check for a lot of people. That's a lot of power to wield, and a lot of power being interacted with. And a lot of secrecy involved.

I think the real problem here is that when the cover-up started the subject was propagandized as illogical by the people who's job it was to get it out of the public eye. Truman signed the National Security Act 12 days after Roswell. There are no coincidences. Should tell everyone what they need to know about Roswell, right there. So through the years, through clever techniques re: slides and screens (look it up) you can pretty much convince a share of the population to just shut down their reception to any info that doesn't conform to what their heads have been fed. They won't buy it because they have been conditioned to drop that slide down when the subject comes up. There's a bit of a psy-op element to this part of things and we know who's good at that. So, it is hard to get people to apply logic to what has been deemed an illogical subject by entities who's best interests are served if the subject is deemed to be illogical.

Here's the best part: they've been telling us about the stuff for years. While attempting to debunk and influence public opinion on the subject, stuff is everywhere. Like I said, reams of info floating around on the subject and yet no government crackdown on much of it really. All this testimony and nobody's really censored. Even people who signed security oaths are breaking them and speaking out. No prosecutions. ET and UFOs are in movies, books, film, TV, commercials, and yes, even in military handbooks. Enough stuff has gotten out/been released that everybody should at least have a clue as to what's going on here. Seems to be the Govs real plan. To say "there are no UFOs <nudge nudge wink wink said with a knowing grin>. To not just reveal it right off the bat. To slowly get the story and concept out through a technique we call indoctrination:
in·doc·tri·na·tion noun
  • the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. People have to be able to get their heads around it first.

I believe this is at least one reason why they hushed it up right from the start. Because the truth just wouldn't fit in some people's heads. Mass panic ensues. 10 years earlier a radio play about a Martian Invasion had people so mad with fear that they were offing themselves like lemmings into the sea. I'd imagine that in meetings on releasing this info to the public straight-up, no chaser, and the institutional breakdowns that could follow, that minds in the room envisioned something more akin to The Purge. Like, worst case scenarios and all. Lessons learned. Better ease into it this time, no rush.
  • Now I'm thinking that the cognitive dissonance imposed on the subject has worked well enough to dumb down so many people on the subject that the gov finally just has to put out a video of navy pilots actually pursuing a "tic tac shaped ufo" and to announce that they do indeed have in their possession alien materials to wake them back up .

Some interesting Russian footage:

UFOs, Tesla, DeLonge, ETs, covert ops
"Nikola Tesla and other outlier scientists were researching anti-gravity in the 20th century. Upon his death, Tesla’s research papers were stolen by the government and never released. What has the US government been doing at secret research facilities since World War 2—such as the famed Lockheed Skunkworks in Palmdale,
California—and whose technology have they been using?"

Some of the accounts from (alleged?) abductees seem to be similar to those of people who have experienced poltergeists. The manipulation of electricity (among other things) seems common to both, anyway.

The guy in the beginning (and end) who looks like Peter Murphy has some interesting things to say.

The whole thing is pretty interesting, really--
