Tillerson, Mattis Warned Trump Against Embassy Move
contact@ifamericansknew.org December 9, 2017 Jerusalem, Mattis, Tillerson

(L-R) Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, President Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense James Mattis

Trump decided to keep his campaign pledge, despite warnings from Defense Secretary James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that the move would endanger American diplomats, undermine efforts to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, and be condemned by both Arab countries and America’s most important allies in Europe…

The President insisted on his Jerusalem moment, but the impact will be forever.

“Now, I don’t know about you, but when I heard about Jerusalem — where the King of Kings [applause] where our soon coming King is coming back to Jerusalem, it is because President Trump declared Jerusalem to be capital of Israel,” Sen. Broxson predicted.

Who cares if everyone hates it? Does this change the facts at all?
is this all what you care ?

To answer your question, yes. What have I done to them that I have to get their permission to go to my country? Or that they stole farm lands that has been with my family for generations? Or has arrested and killed my cousins for no reason? Or that I have to go through a million checkpoints if I want to go to another city or town? Or has surrounded my city with a 5 meter cement wall? Or has threatened to r*pe me and pointed a rifle at me? Give me a logical reason and I’ll shut up. Come on.
I think it all has to do with the violence Palestinians perpetuate on he Israeli’s which make it harder to live in Israel and they are just being cautious and trying to make sure people aren’t going to kill others. They don’t know you or your family so they will check you too, much like going to the airport and everyone is checked out for the crime of a few...don’t you think?

However in the case of Israel too many muslims-if not all-want the Jews dead...The Jews don’t want to die. Can’t say that I blame them.

Trump didn't make Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

Tell me, amidst all the screaming and tantrums, the lies and hate from those who oppose this, has anyone presented a better case than Israel's for having Jerusalem as their capital?

For 3000 years, there has almost always been a majority Jewish presence in Jerusalem. As I said, it's mentioned in scripture hundreds of times, and even if you don't believe in God, you can't argue that the Jews relationship with Jerusalem isn't clear, ancient and very special. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any other state than Israel, not too mention it's the site of their holiest site, the Temple Mount.

Like I said, I'm just a dumb Zionist, but after 18 pages, I still don't see why, other than antisemitism, Israel can't have Jerusalem as it's capital.

@DesertRose, are you saying that Trump is counting on a violent and hateful overreaction from the "Death To America" crowd so he has an excuse to bomb them?

I think that Trump is a slave (willing or not) and we can all watch that hijacked nation get pushed in the direction of more wars for Israel.

Well it is not very bright ( using your type of terminology here) to think Potus can give away what is not his to give.

Why does there have to be a war? Who is calling for war?

Trump didn't give anything to anyone. Agreeing that the capital of Israel is Jerusalem doesn't change one physical thing. If so, what?

Trump does:
He threatens war for North Korea. (Where have you been?) Increased troops for all the wars the Zionists have pushed on him. I have footage of Netanyahu calling for Saddam's removal and all his assurances.

That's your understanding however this kills the peace process and it sanctions US approval for the occupation and oppression of the Palestinians.

You said there will be more wars for Israel, and then you give North Korea as an example?

The ones who are calling for war in the Middle East, in case you're not aware of it, are guys like this:

Peace process? You mean that, someday, Jews and Palestinians will sit down together, sign a deal, shake hands and walk away with their own respective countries, to be at peace forever? Do you think that will ever happen?

Around the 2000 Camp David discussions...

The big issue came down to the Palestinian Wish for Return, which is an impossible demand for Israel. As Dennis Ross, one of the negotiators said, Arafat wanted

“a one-state solution. Not independent, adjacent Israeli and Palestinian states, but a single Arab state encompassing all of Historic Palestine"

Knowing people as I do here, I don't think it very likely that anyone will change their core views based on other people "robustly" opposing them. Far more likely will be taking and giving offence, polarising and entrenching. Despite the evitable conflicts that occur on the forum, I was recently reminded of the importance of the way we treat one another.

"There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors. This does not mean that we are to be perpetually solemn. We must play. But our merriment must be of that kind (and it is, in fact, the merriest kind) which exists between people who have, from the outset, taken each other seriously - no flippancy, no superiority, no presumption."

C.S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory

Those people going about their day with rocket launchers and machine guns?
you must suffer from seriously damaged eyesight (as well as lack of functioning brain cells) - maybe cataract or glaucoma?

just for your information (since you seem to have some understanding issues - due to your brain dead satus) - the armed ones are your fellow khazar devil worshippers.

the unarmed ones are the palestinians.

for real now - your type of comments can only be made by people who suffer from some type of severe brain injury or people who have a brain tumor.

the symptoms include:

- loss of reality in every sense/perceiving a very twisted reality - hence seeing things nobody else can see (hallucinating)

- change in sensation (vision/smell & or hearing without losing consciousness)

- loss of awareness or a partial or total loss of consciousness

- change of personality or memory

do yourself a favor & go for a check.

As soon as tempers get frayed (which is not difficult with this, of all topics), careful examination of the issues go out of the window.

Why can't people come at these issues with reason and debate? Does no-one do nuanced any more? Imagine a messy custody battle where one spouse is accused of killing a cat and the other of poisoning the family dog. While the offended parties are arguing over a litigation table the kids get caught up in the battle...

What legal and historical claims do both parties have to the city? Where does God fit in? Which version of history do you accept? Depending on what people have already decided when they come to the "litigation table", you will have very different answers.

The only thing I have to say, having read the comments is that there is certainly an element to which human effort and "Imperialist" politics can be used to bring about what would appear to be the conditions for the possible fulfillment of prophecies. Anyone remember Dabiq?

You might get all the Zionists in the world supported by all the "misguided" evangelicals seeing fulfillments and foreshadowing of Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, Zechariah 12, Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 9:27 but if that whole thing is just a group delusion, you might get conflict but you will not see the parts of those prophecies where God himself acts.

If or when he does, there will be no argument.
