Question for @Antipapirus

I read a news story (something i wish i'd never read) about how Afghan warlords r*pe young boys and US military personnel aren't allowed to intervene despite the heart breaking screams lingering on the night air. The person in the story did something about it and was immediately discharged and his friend committed suicide because he couldn't live with the guilt.

So, military service is mandatory in Israel. What are the rates of PTSD among IDF because i've never heard of anything about it, which is strange. Maybe iam just unlucky. One hears more about it in regard to defence forces of various countries but not Israel, which is pretty much always at war. The chances of someone in his/her odyssey years (19-29)
killing someone else are pretty much low but that can't be the case in Israel seeing as one will more than likely be on some tour. How does a 20yr old cope after killing some 10 people? You can't just be okay after that. I hope you didn't kill anyone because i don't want to hear it. I just want to know why there is little to no chatter about ex-IDF plagued with PTSD and rampant drug abuse. Is it the best way to mk generations?

Large numbers of Jewish refugees had settled in what became Khazaria long before the Khazars were even a recognizable people. It is recorded in The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia that:

“Vakhushti’s History of Georgia informs us that permission was granted to a Jewish legation which had appealed to the prince of Mtskhet, after the destruction of the First Temple at Jerusalem (586 B.C.E.), to settle on the outskirts of Mtskhet.”2 Jews from the tribe of Judah began settling in the Transcaucasus from the time Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians! The same source records many more waves of Jewish migration to this region:

“Another influx of Jewish refugees into various Trans-Caucasian regions took place after the destruction of the Second Temple at Jerusalem (70 C.E.). The height of the influx during the first centuries of Christianity is confirmed by the chronicler Faustus of Byzantium (4th cent. C.E.), who reports that the Persians, under King Sapor II (360 C.E.), invaded Armenia, and took with them to South Persia more than 75,000 Jewish captives, the progeny of those who had previously come to the Transcaucasus from Palestine.” 3 (Emphasis added.)

The Jews had seen the Caucasus region as a hospitable refuge for centuries, and they went there in large numbers. Why shouldn’t they? From 700 B.C, until at least the 5th century A.D., it was inhabited by many descendants of the ten tribes of Israel (called Scythians, Iberians, Sacae, Goths, etc.), and many of the Israelite kings were Jewish, descendants of King David’s dynasty. The Persian King, Sapor II, was from the Persian Sassanian kingdom that had driven the Parthians out of Asia. There had to be an immense number of Jews in the Transcaucasus region for him to take over 75,000 Jews captive in a single raid in that area! That they were descended from Jews who had originally migrated there from Palestine confirms they were racial members of the tribe of Judah! Are you even interested in truth
When I post facts, history and documented truth in answer to the things posted here against Israel, no one addresses them or realigns their position in light of them. We just move on to another round of the same fabricated accusations and Palestinian propaganda.

If your side is to be taken seriously, stop posting lies, address the untruth you're spreading, and reply to some of the truth that I am posting.

Just calling everything I say lies is not an argument.

The whole "Jews are actually Khazars" fantasy has been debunked so many times, and so thoroughly, that I can't believe I am still seeing it posted. Please read something other than Mondoweiss and Electronic Intifada.

Mondoweiss and Electronic Intifada

When did anyone quote Mondoweiss and Electronic Intifada in this thread? I had never heard of them, but after a brief investigation, I cannot see the connection made between these sources and the subject of the Khazars, to begin with.

The reference doesn't make sense at all. It is basically an ad hominem response, not a counterargument.

I don't know if anyone has heard of Jewish Voice for Peace, but they are another organization I support in regard to this subject. They are a Jewish organization which supports peace over and above forcing the creation of Israel. They do outreach with Muslim groups. They did associate with Linda Sarsour at one point, which I didn't agree with. Although, they have a great message overall and they are Jewish and represent the Jewish opinion. The way they feel towards the creation of Israel should matter. We should listen to them and what they have to say if we are going to believe that there is any privilege in being a descendant of Abraham. https://jewishvoiceforpeace.org/

K you asked Antipap but allow me to respond and then proceed with your discussion.
These are actions worthy of the death penalty in our jurisprudence.
Why do you think that the students of Islam started the Taliban? The issues with the warlords and their sins started that resistance.
They also got nearly rid of the Opium trade.
They had a few issues to fix such as an adherence to the stricter rules in culture mistaken as theology.

Regarding US troops some of them are engaged in the same activities.....you heard of abu ghraib and bagram issues?
The US Installed these despicable warlords back in power after fighting the Taliban over the false flag 9/11

UnderAlienControl answered real good. I'm proud to say I didn't kill anyone in my service.
About the PTSD, the rates are high among pilots and infantry soldiers ,but they go unreported by the people suffering themselves because serving in the IDF is a source of pride and service to the country, we lie to ourselves and make ourselves feel good about it, an ex-soldier suffering from mild symptoms will not go check him self and the authorities won't report it because it will give a bad name to the army.

I was actually being sarcastic, but I found this bit at Mondoweiss.

And here's some info on the Khazar thing.

No evidence from genome-wide data of a Khazar origin for the Ashkenazi Jews

analysis of Ashkenazi Jews together with a large sample from the region of the Khazar Khaganate corroborates the earlier results that Ashkenazi Jews derive their ancestry primarily from populations of the Middle East and Europe, that they possess considerable shared ancestry with other Jewish populations, and that there is no indication of a significant genetic contribution either from within or from north of the Caucasus region.
A substantial prehistoric European ancestry amongst Ashkenazi maternal lineages

40% of Ashkenazi mtDNA variation, have ancestry in prehistoric Europe, rather than the Near East or Caucasus. Furthermore, most of the remaining minor founders share a similar deep European ancestry. Thus the great majority of Ashkenazi maternal lineages were not brought from the Levant, as commonly supposed, nor recruited in the Caucasus, as sometimes suggested, but assimilated within Europe.

We haven't had a chance to talk really, nice to meet you, I read many of your threads and you do present good arguments and sources.
But thats only if you look at this from down to up and not the reverse like i do, its like you are watching a puppet show and thinking the pupets are real , while i see the pupetiers themselfes ....
I want to ask you why are you so pro Israel and so against Palestinians.
I really want to know.
Both our governments are controlled by a higher group of people that want us both destroyed.
Do you believe in the Illuminati conspiracy?

Hi.

As an Israeli citizen, what do you think is the solution for this conflict?

I guess I should mention that I’m a Palestinian from the West Bank.

Hi.

As an Israeli citizen, what do you think is the solution to this conflict?

I guess I should mention that I’m a Palestinian from the West Bank.

Wery glad to meet you.

My solution is :

1- Arrest all the ISRAELI high command for treason and crimes againts humanity.
2 -Dismantle the MOSSAD and stop the worldwide terror unleashed against the world.
3-Do the same for the HAMAS and the Palestinian government
4-The people on both sides need to realize they are fools playing a fools game, their beautiful religions have been hacked and highjacked, their representatives in the politics and religion are sociopathic fake ass sellouts.

I understand this is a dream solution, you might want a "real" answer but I believe that the power of your mind is much greater than your physical one.
Change the way you look at this conflict by reminding yourself who the real enemy is and who are its victims.
Each time a terrorist blows himself up I think
- The poor soul had such a horrible life he was driven to such despair he decided to end himself while taking innocent lives with him, and that life is a creation of my own states actions.
- The Mossad played another poor soul to do their dirty work

You and I will have a wonderful life in the near future, the conflict is near the end.
I'm talking about the good guys fighting behind the scenes, not the mambo jumbo Hollywood movie presented to us.

Just remember we were both sold out by our governments, the highest class of Jewish leaders in religion and government and your"s, are the best of friends and they plan together what to do next to divide us further.

Thanks for your response. Its really good to know that you don't have blood on your hands. And yes, @UnderAlienControl is the best, like, ever!!!

@DesertRose
I used that account as a background story to further highlight the problem of PTSD. Ofcourse USAF isn't saintly and i've seen stats of male on male sexual assault and the picture isn't pretty. The argument USAF higher-ups used to forbid interference was that it was cultural and the fact that the soldiers could hear the screams meant that the warlord camps were yards away...

The forum is a microcosm. Just corner 20 random people on the street and put to them @Vixy's question and see if things won't go down the way they did in this thread. And you're right, the whole 'Israel/Palestine question' is sensitive and one of the polarising subjects of our time.

There's a little verse tucked away in the Book of Esther, so i want to know what everyone thinks, given the focus on Khazars. 8:17

And in every province, and in every city
whithersoever the king's commandment and his
decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast
and a good day. *And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.*
(kjv)

*And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them.* (niv)
