Im not sure how a nation can "try" to fix things in this instance without returning that which was stolen.I agree but I think people should at least try to fix things and not let them go on.
History has been twisted here, the Bushmen were the only natives in South Africa, the other Bantu tribes arrived the same time at the settlers did in the Cape, so after the Bantu tribes started conquering the Bushmen, some of that land were traded fairly between the Bantu tribes and the settlers.... The Bushmen as a very peaceful people only survived because of the settlers branching out in South Africa. There was peace until the Brits came, Bantu and Settlers fought together against the Brits. The propaganda that land was stolen started only when Britian did their little apartheid experiment - this is some of our true history...Im not sure how a nation can "try" to fix things in this instance without returning that which was stolen.
Wow! Goosebumps and tears!!!
This was prophesied some time ago where I fellowship. We started this last Sunday.
Before the Brits there was the Portuguese and Dutch colonizations though. And while you may call them helpful and Im not too well versed how exactly that was the case, if I go by colonialism around the world (and the little bit I know about SA) I doubt it...None of these nations then or now would allow me to go to some unused part of their land and settle in it and start a colony. But they believed for whatever reason that they had the right to do that with others.History has been twisted here, the Bushmen were the only natives in South Africa, the other Bantu tribes arrived the same time at the settlers did in the Cape, so after the Bantu tribes started conquering the Bushmen, some of that land were traded fairly between the Bantu tribes and the settlers.... I love this add, it sums up the situation here perfectly!
Lol why?i would like to know the names of a couple of popular brands of south african cigarettes, if any one happens to know
probably best on its own thread, but...apparently american cigs are all dipped in sugar stuff, south africa has a high rate of smoking and super low lung cancer cause no sugar stuff

I have been smoking for around 35 years. We actually do not make our own cigarettes. Most are smuggled in from Zimbabwe but the legal "smokes" (Our term for cigarettes) are the US brands, Camel, Chesterfield, Winston and some othersI'm not a smoker, but my father used to smoke - Peter Stuvesant, Camel, Chesterfield that's all I can remember
The Nkandla topic is depressing though...Our president had the nerve to pull that stunt.Or Maybe was he told to do that cause apparently there are other people controlling our country since Mandela sold our country. If you mention to folks outside of here how much Nkandla cost then I do not think they will appreciate the extent of the corruption going on. Last I saw it was around 340 million rands which is about 28 million US dollars and just look at the rural folks around the complex - broken huts, no running water, no electricity, no tarred roads, no hospitals.........
You mean he wasn't some super amazing hero? The Nkandla topic is depressing though...Our president had the nerve to pull that stunt.Or Maybe was he told to do that cause apparently there are other people controlling our country since Mandela sold our country.
There are some videos and stories about Mandela selling the economy.Check out the Youtube videos as well.He was being used by the elite. You mean he wasn't some super amazing hero?
I mean.... I believe you.... and I take your word for. But it's sort of shocking to me because he's promoted as this hero and role model but I really question how he is presented. Because why is it that some people from South Africa don't seem to like him? I don't really understand much about South Africa but for some reason, I like Winnie Mandela and sort of am suspicious of Nelson... I don't really remember or understand why, though. I hope one day I can learn the truth about these individuals and why it doesn't seem like Nelson is who he is presented as.
Thank you! I appreciate your perspective. And I believe what the man in the video I posted is saying..... I believe him because the same thing happened with Huey Newton in the US. The Huey that left prison was a totally different Huey than the one who came in.There are some videos and stories about Mandela selling the economy.Check out the Youtube videos as well.He was being used by the elite.
i do but the only producer of organic, as far as i can tell,is american spirit who got bought out by one of the big boys...dr. mercola claims that american cigs are dipped in some sorta sugar deal and that is why even though south africa has high rate of smoking they have low lung cancer. i'll make another thread though...probably best on its own thread, but...
why not buy organic pipe tobacco and organic rolling paper and roll your own?
went in: huey newton in the US.I believe him because the same thing happened with Huey Newton in the US. The Huey that left prison was a totally different Huey than the one who came in.
