Article with additional info about Tae's enlistment

Thought that his responses to fans' concerns were interesting. Especially when he says for them to trust him. If I was in his shoes, and said I wanted to challenge myself and people didn't take that as the reason the first time, then I'd absolutely be irritated with them. Him saying "just please trust me", gives me the impression that he's possibly frustrated with their inability to listen.

I also got the vibe of "look, I'm a grown man who can make my own decisions and I'm fine, knock it off".

Armpit twitter in general is fuming at them all being enlisted. Keep screaming that it's unfair. No, it's not unfair. They are required to do what everybody else is required to do. Period. They aren't even concerned for the member's safety, they just want the group back to consume their content.

They really need an important break from their own fans...who have been really a big part of the BTS "problem", i.e., the armies who are so juvenile, unthinking, and ridiculously clingy... In fairness, we can observe how the BTS members seem to be properly maturing through their military duties...of course, we hope they are always safe...and will come back as better persons...

These very weird and manufactured daily schedules surfaced recently and to me, they're hilarious.

What bugs me most about them is aside from the fact that NJ is the only one who actually DOES STUFF on his days off, their sleep schedules are atrocious. Jin's is probably the most normal one. YG's ordinary guy day is just... not an ordinary guy day. The fact that he spends time at the company on his days off shocks me and also doesn't shock me. It borderline confirms that he gets special treatment. On another note, YG setting aside time to meditate caught my attention.

JM is the most boring. It comes as no surprise to me that he doesn't absolutely nothing on his days off. Even his superstar day seems boring. This is reinforced by the fact that his instagram is boring too. I thought it was hilarious last year when his solo stans were convinced that he'd be this superstar but he ended up flopping. He doesn't have enough personality, talent or anything really to capture people's interest.

These "schedules" presumably, were pre-military enlistment... now that they are doing the military service, JM seems to be more "bored" than ever...saying the days are "moving oh sooo slooowly..."lol!

Jin seems to be the most "productive..." Not only being an officer at 5th Division...he's also managed to create/brew some rice wine during his military breaks... so far he's given away 30 bottles to 30 "special people" in his life...:)

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that some people in the military earn breaks if they hold certain positions or titles. So maybe that's where those 30 bottles of rice wine came from, but that's a lot of bottles and a weird way to spend your time off.

He started brewing the rice wine before he enlisted. He also did it with the help of a master traditional wine maker who is famous in South Korea.

who knows if those "schedules" are even real. Stuff like this is done with such calculation to evoke a specific response from the fans so who knows if it's real, just like the "personalities" designed for them.

But not a single thing from the military has leaked about YG's progress. A fan who was the girlfriend of a soldier in YG's training group shared some info, but there's but nothing other than that. No photos, no progress reports, nothing. I think it is absolutely bizarre that there's not a single update, not even an update from YG. And I have to ask, if he was in the regular military instead of doing the social work, would there be photos or info leaked/shared? I have a weird feeling that there wouldn't be.

Since YG is not in an active duty service because of his previous injuries/surgeries, he's been assigned to do social service, instead. For those in active duty, i.e., with required combat training, there's a different set-up. It appears that doing social services is more of civilian nature or office work. Hybe also made it a point to make YG's military service very private...no social media...no updates...

The regular military training has provided access to the recruits/trainees via a social link called "The Camp" where families/friends/fans of the trainees can communicate with them...But Hybe has objected to it being "illegally" used for "military propaganda" and income generation...citing copyright concerns...The Camp has since removed the names/images of the 6 BTS members but some photos still leaked...How can Hybe stop the fans or relatives/friends of other trainees from publishing their photos? BTS members are very public figures...it's simply hard to keep them private...except for YG...who might be enjoying some privacy...

But see, here's the thing: It is RADIO SILENCE. I know that specific details about the social service cannot be shared due to confidentiality, since most men doing alternative service work with the elderly or patients with dementia, sometimes they work with children. But even when he did go into the training camp to do the required three weeks of training, the only reason we know about it is cause of that girlfriend of the soldier. The military, even The Camp, could have release some kind of progress report about what YG was doing or how he was doing or whatever, but they didn't. I'm poking at this because I find it absolutely weird that the other six were used for propaganda, but YG wasn't. I'm not saying he or any of them should be used that way.

YG either has a team of lawyers so powerful that they've got the military scared, or perhaps he and Hive have paid for special treatment... or on a much simpler note, they didn't see it as worth it to use him for propaganda because like you said, things go differently cause of the alternative service.

People doing alternative service are allowed to sleep at home but must report to work every day, which makes me wonder why YG hasn't even posted anything on weverse, instagram, or anywhere else. Not even a "I'm doing fine" post. He is allowed to post on social media, I'm sure, since the rest of the members are.

Maybe he doesn't post any "updates" on social media because people might become "more curious..." or...here's a real, wild guess...he's not "serving" at all...lol!

Hm, maybe he's actually exempt and they are covering it up? Though that seems quite elaborate.
