I’m skeptical. Even if this has been passed, how can we trust that aid and humanitarian assistance will actually reach everyone? Roads and infrastructure have been destroyed. Which channels will they use to deliver the aid and assistance? The last ceasefire all we saw were a handful of aid trucks and the IDF shooting civilians who tried to return to the rubble of their destroyed homes in an attempt to salvage their possessions.
Not sure why Russia abstained.
I'm speechless. What the hell was happening since Monday that this was the absolute best that they could come up with. It's a nothing resolution....absolutely nothing. No ceasefire call to allow this aid in...nothing. Basically it calls for aid and does nothing to stop the killing. Feed them and continue to kill them...

I think Russia abstained because they were raging at how much it was watered down.
From the BBC
"Russia has again criticised the draft resolution, accusing the US of playing an “underhanded game” by not doing more to restrain Israeli operations in Gaza.
Ambassador Vasily Alekseyevich Nebenzya said that the resolution is, in Russia’s view, a “licence for Israel to kill Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”
“This is a tragic moment for the council…one of unprincipled blackmail,” he added.
Nebenzya said Russia would have vetoed the resolution if it “weren’t supported by a number of Arab states.”
And did anyone see that odious creature that represents the U.S...firstly she didn't know what she was voting for...raised her hand for and then put it down then raised her hand again when it was asked for abstentions.
Then she was first to speak after the vote and said something along the lines of "it was tough but we got there"...ffs
