I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Sure, it could be a literal Hadith which hasn’t come to pass yet. However I do think there is a huge absence of real men in our society. Could this Hadith be alluding to the decline of masculinity? Men appeasing to the feminist and female ‘empowerment’ ideals which we are brainwashed to accept? Women being the breadwinners of wearing the trousers in the relationship? I can’t emphasise how important it is for both parties to know their role and duty in a marriage.

In the Uk, women are finding it increasingly hard to find a man who is willing to provide. I am not referring to indoctrinated feminists who miss their fertility/youth window and scramble to find a man in their mid to late 30s, I’m referring to normal sisters who adhere to basic Islamic principles when looking for a spouse. I have a lot of women in my family who have yet to marry and it just seems men aren’t willing to step up and be accountable. It’s like the playboy phase has leaked into their 30s, the problem with this is sisters can’t wait for a guy to straighten up. Many men are work shy and can’t muster up the courage to either apply for other jobs or relocation. We do have a cost of living crisis in the UK but this doesn’t allow for a man to neglect his position as sole provider.

Please do not misconstrue my position, feminism has unfortunately allowed for women to spend their best years working for others and attending uni but at a cost to their opportunity to marry. This has caused women in general, to be more qualified and distinguished from an educational and career standpoint while many men (here anyway) don’t go to university and instead work their way up in labour jobs.

For what it’s worth, I was once indoctrinated with this nonsense under the guise of female ‘empowerment’. I had an endless list of criteria when I was looking for marriage but you know alhamdulilah we plan but so does Allah. I met my husband when I was 24 and he was actually a bus driver, 7 years my senior. I had just qualified as a teacher and was looking for someone on my ‘level’. It was the most smooth, halal supervised visit and no time was wasted with the nikah. I was a proud young feminist and Allah showed me the person I needed in my life was the total opposite of what I was expecting.

He isn’t a bus driver anymore and alhamdulilah in his current occupation, he earns way more than I ever would as a secondary school teacher. Women, it’s not about where he is when you meet, it’s allowing him to progress you can both win. If you see eye to eye and have shared values and want the same things out of life, everything else will come in time. The state of woman is such that she can have different things at different stages in her life but not all at the same time.

apologies for the side rant about marriage I thought it would be useful to share some general insights.

Surrogate mothers are not slaves in islamic definition.
Considering the hadith, there's not much slaves like before and there's no possibility for the number to rise. Then how the slaves can birth to masters to instigate the sign? Im afraid your hadith will never come true and possibly the end time will never come

It seems you tried really hard to make some sense out of the hadith. The ones who participate in IVF are not slaves. And the second option of the children being unruly so they will boss over the parents is out of the box. There's not much to interpret a very clear hadith.

There is a hadith talking about the dajjal (anti-christ).

The Prophet (saw) said he will ride a donkey with massive ears.

He will be riding a donkey which will have a span of 40 cubits between its two ears..”

Imagine hearing such a thing 1400 years ago. It would sound ridiculous.

Today we know the Prophet (saw) was speaking about the plane.
How do you describe a plane to people living in the desert 14 centuries ago?
The point is sometimes interpretation is needed.
