The last update put the eye about 60-70 miles away. Down to a weak Cat. 1. Which is good, but last year a TS/TD took down a tree. Right onto the power lines, of course. Still trying to clean that up. They say the worst will be gone in about 5 hours.

Some people thinking it would be ok to imprison people who deny climate change, doesn't negate the evidence for climate change. And I think that scientist Judith Curry made a good point.
germany made it a jailable offense to discuss holocaust revisionism. see where this is can go?

Um. We can't just pollute the air and the water and think it's all going to be ok. We are already over fishing the Ocean, plus dumping so much garbage.

Do you all want to live in a world where you can never eat fish again? I mean like ever, no more seafood at all. Because that can easily happen. And I'm not saying to shit your pants over climate change. But wake up. Entire regions of the world literally depend on the Ocean to feed themselves. They will starve and we will see insane inflation on every other food.

these are serious problems. i agree.
but climate change has nothing to do with overfishing, garbage dumping, fukushima radiation, islands of plastic floating around, illegal dumping off of africa (remember the 'pirates' not too long ago? they were africans defending their shores. MSM labeled them pirates), oil spills, geoengineering/aluminum and barium particles, industrial chemical runoffs, nitrate/phosphate fertilizer runoffs, etc.

All those things and climate change.

I went onto meta bunk to read what they had to say about conspiracy theories of Irma and Harvey being HAARP controlled. Many of the folks there said that first and foremost, none of us understands HAARP or how it functions. And their second biggest point was that a hurricane emits 10x the energy of a hydrogen bomb (I could be wrong about whether it was hydrogen or atomic) so would be impossible to control. What do you guys think? I'm not an expert on anything whatsoever, let alone topics like this.

And I also have no idea to what extent heating of the ionosphere can effect weather patterns.
