THIS, 100% THIS! The funniest thing was when they couldn't understand why people were upset by the lyrics. Misogyny is deeply ingrained in South Korea. Even YG, who's considered the most female-friendly, could not understand why the lyrics on D&W were misogynistic. His attitude was "Well I checked it and I thought it was fine", like yeah, of course you did cause you live in a misogynistic country so it's daily life for you to be misogynistic.if i remember right they had to apologize for this song, and their lyrics about women.

The focus being so heavily on NJ was always weird to me too, considering they were all guilty. Granted, you separate him and his views of women out from the rest of the group and oof, he's not much better today than he was years ago, but JH and YG had just as much of a hand in making D&W and they were never held accountable for it.
