Why do you always target Americans in your posts? There are plenty of informed 'yanks' on here
I believe most of the Christians on here are American. I'm pretty sure most of the posters on here are American.

Yes, but AspiringSoul keeps negatively stereotyping all Americans and using the word "American" to mean "stupid", which is rude and uncalled for.

But the majority of Americans are stupid. In 2003 a Gallop poll showed that the majority of Americans supported the war in Iraq based on the notion that they had weapons of mass destruction and that they were involved in some way on the attacks of 9/11 without a shred of proof or evidence. They believed whatever their government told them without the government ever giving them any reason or proof for their claims. This resulted in the deaths of over 1 million Iraqis and the group they call ISIS. Now a lot of people, including myself, would call that being stupid.

Everyone gents manipulated by their government. It's wrong to generalize an entire group as stupid. Can't we all just be respectful here?

Not to the extent that Americans do which tells us that they're not only stupid but gullible as well. In no way am I saying ALL Americans but according to the Gallop poll the majority of them are.

You have to be a complete moron to believe something without ever receiving proof and or strong evidence for those claims. Especially something as serious as war when lives are on the line.

Hey Kung Fu - did you ever read 1984 or Brave New World? In a sense, between them the provide a blueprint for the psychology of enslaving beliefs and nations. If a culture is steeped in any form of mental straightjacket, often from a young age people in that culture just grow up to accept that its 'just how things are'.

After I woke up to some if this stuff, I quickly backed away from trusting ANYTHING the mainstream media was telling me and only choosing sources that reflected my new views. This in its own way can become its own set of propaganda...

The tricky thing is to be able to stand back from the things we have been told and the voices shouting the loudest and make sure the views and religious convictions we hold are ones we have examined for ourselves, listened to alternatives and know why we believe them.

If something is true, it will always stand up to scrutiny. Go easy on those poor Americans who believe what they are told to, though - How many of us can truly say we do that with the views we hold to?

I'm so stupid I had to look them up.

So, Britain is the clever businessman and America is a bimbo?

Lol, either you have no idea, or you're British and you're joking.
Paris inherited name and fame...she grew up with money.
If you look into the history of England/Britain from the Elizabethan era onwards...how they went from a bankrupt island to the richest and biggest empire in history (literally this is true) is remarkable.

The bimbo thing is pretty apt, i don't see america producing anything, they simply own the patents and let the world do the work. it's no different to how a paris hilton type figure operates ie her name on all the shit other people produce.

America produces war. Although it turns out we have been outsourcing all the wars now too. I don't think the stupid American stereotype really resonates in the streets. The people running this show are smart, in that they found the laziest way to do it. And the best way to lead the herd.

Yeah. All done through piracy, slavery, and imperialist jack boots.
And what good has it done us?
None, we're really down the shitter now, and we probably deserve it for all the blood on our hands.

Maybe you should tell that to the people ramming people with cars? It just seems to me that any ol' way to kill non muslims works for jihad. It looks more to me like its about killing people not combatting injustice. And it seems to me that muslims take their jihad serious enough.

Well, the way I see it is that God has said that we must share the Good News with people, he put it into our hands to do that. The Good News being that Jesus, God's Son, is the only one through which salvation can be obtained...so then that does kind of pit you against people who see life differently don't ya think? Not that I want a fight or anything, but God does say that only one way is right after all....
And, when you think about it....eternity with God or in the lake of fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth is a big deal and worth "fighting" for.
It's a completely one-eyed (that pun!) point of view, Lisa. You're upset about a very small number of people being killed by terrorists (which I agree is awful - but are we even sure of how many people are actually killed, with all the media fakery?). Meanwhile, we've got literally billions of people starving, dying from curable diseases or suffering through wars that could easily be ended tomorrow if our 'leaders' wanted it. We've got a civilization where nearly all the wealth and political power rests in the palms of a very small number of people: oligarchy. Yet, you keep going on about those 'terrible terrorists'. If they even exist, they're practically a non-issue. I'm much more 'afraid' of our own government than of ISIS.

... and I agree Muslims do some terrible things, and stupid things. I'm thoroughly unimpressed with the behaviour of an alarmingly large number of Muslim immigrants in the West. I also think Islam is a hoax religion - but at least it shares many ideas with Christianity. Again, please don't buy into these insane paranoid ideas about Muslims secretly wanting to kill all Christians or whatever. Some of what you post suggest you may actually believe such things. There's definitely a segment of 'Muslims' who do think like that but you'll find equally insane 'Christians' with similar but inverted ideas. Stupid people are everywhere!

I would recommend you go and talk to some actual everyday Muslims to put those preconceived notions to the test. We've even got Muslims posting in this thread and I doubt they're running around with scimitars drawn looking to decapitate infidels whenever they're not posting here!

*

Anyway, why have you all derailed this thread? This thread was supposed to be about the Westminster Skull & Bones crisis acting event... sorry, I meant: terrorist attack.

... and stop with the simplistic generalizations, ****. There are around 330,000,000 people in the US - chances are you'll find both some of the brightest and some of the dumbest minds on Earth in that nation. The US, I imagine, is probably the nation in the world with the largest number of 'awake' people aware of what these 'conspiracy theories' are about (but also the one with the most people shopping Alex Jones' items)...
