You are either out of ignorance or intentionally misinterpreting what Paul said in the passages below, and using a horrible translation to do it.
In context, the above passage is NOT releasing anyone from keeping The Law which Paul, in the very same chapter, says is holy, just and good and tells everyone that he (Paul) himself is keeping it. Read what it actually is saying, rather than what you want it to say, so you can continue to live in bondage to sin.
Romans 7:5-7
7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by The Law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
7:6 But now
we are delivered from (the Curses/Penalty Clauses of) The Law, that being dead (to "Self") whereby we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.
7:7
What shall we say then? [Is] The Law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known [what was] sin, except by The Law: for I had not known [what] lust [is], except The Law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Christ's sacrifice was to pay the penalty (the curse) we incurred because of our refusal to stop breaking The Law. Please study Deuteronomy 28, so that you can actually understand what Paul was talking about.
Paul very obviously was
NOT teaching people to break The Law; he was teaching people to keep The Law. The ONLY Way to be delivered from the curse/penalty clause of The Law IS BY
KEEPING THE LAW.
Deuteronomy 27:26, 28:1-2
27:26 Cursed [be] he that confirmeth not [all] the words of this Law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the "I AM" thy God, to observe [and] to do all His Commandments which I command thee this day, that the "I AM" thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
28:2 And
ALL THESE BLESSINGS* shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the "I AM" thy God.
*Read verses 3-14 for the list of blessing that come as the result of
keeping The Law
Deuteronomy 28:14-15
28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the Words which I command thee this day, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
28:15 But it shall come to pass,
if thou wilt NOT hearken unto the voice of the "I AM" thy God, to observe to do all His Commandments and His Statutes which I command thee this day; that
ALL THESE CURSES** [of the Law] shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
**Read verses 16-68 for a list of all of the curses/penalties for NOT keeping The Law, which bring about all disease and DEATH.
It should therefore be obvious that it is our refusal to obey God and His Commandments that brings about
CURSES, DEATH and EVIL (sin IS evil) and NOT keeping The Law, which brings about
BLESSINGS, LIFE and GOOD.
2 Corinthians 3:4-14
3:4 And such trust have we through Christ toward God:
3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] from God;
3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
3:7 But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away:
3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be more glorious?
3:9 For
IF the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
3:11 For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious.
3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
3:13 And not as Moses, [which] put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth
the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Covenant (Testament); which [veil] (the veil not The Covenant -
Rev. 15:3) is done away in Christ.
Revelation 15:3 And they sing the "Song of Moses" (Old Covenant -
Deut. 31) the servant of God, AND the "Song of the Lamb" (New Covenant), saying, Great and marvellous [are] Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] Thy Ways, Thou King of the holy people.
John 8:34 (KJV) Jesus answered them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the prisoner of sin.
How obvious does it need to be made for you that the yoke of slavery
IS TO SIN (BREAKING THE LAW); God
BLESSES the keeping of The Law, which is
FREEDOM.
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into
the Perfect Law of Liberty (the true mirror), and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a DOER of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Galatians 5:16-21
5:16 [This] I say then,
Walk as the Spirit (Being), and fulfill NOT the lust of the flesh (human).
5:17
For the flesh (human) lusteth against the Spirit (Being), and the Spirit (Being) against the flesh (human): and these are opposed the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
5:18 But
IF ye be led by the Holy Spirit, ye are not under [the curse of]The Law.
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
5:20 Idolatry, pharmacy, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that
they which do such things shall NOT inherit The Kingdom of God.
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of The Law are under the Curse (penalty clause): for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in
ALL things which are written in the Book of The Law (The Torah) to do them (
Deut. 27:26).
YOU CAN ONLY RECEIVE GOD'S BLESSINGS, PROTECTION AND FREEDOM BY KEEPING THE LAW. CHRIST PAID THE PENALTY FOR US TO GIVE US A RENEWED OPPORTUNITY TO COME TO OUR SENSES AND KEEP THE LAW. Those who refuse to return to The Law are cursed, and will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (
Rev. 20:12-15).
Galatians 2:17-21
2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners
(law-breakers, i.e. criminals), [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid (for
sin is the transgression of The Law – 1 John 3:4).
2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
2:19 For I through The Law am dead to The Law (the “self” MUST die, and be crucified
DAILY in accordance with The Law – Luke 9:23, otherwise it is IMPOSSIBLE to love one's
neighbour as much or more than one's self), that I might live unto God (READ what
CHRIST said in the Gospel according to Matthew, Matt. 5:17-20).
2:20 My "Self" is crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I (the "Self"), but
Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of
God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by The Law***, then
Christ is dead in vain [Christ died in our place].
***This reference has a two-fold meaning. First, if righteousness had come by the ordinances and animal sacrifices of The Law, there would have been no need for The Lamb of God to be sacrificed for the sins of the world. Animal sacrifices, which foreshadowed “self” sacrifice, were done away with at the cross (
Col. 2:14) when the priesthood was formally and forever reduced from many to ONE (
Heb. 6:20).
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Secondly,
according to The Law, we all had fallen under the “Curse” or penalty clause of The Law for not keeping it (
Deut. 28:15-68). The penalty for not keeping The Law is
DEATH, so if righteousness had come by The Law, we would have all suffered the death penalty for our sins/lawlessness (crimes)
at that time. But that does
NOT mean we will not have to answer for our sins/crimes on Judgement Day (
Eze. 18:4,
20,
Rom. 6:23), which is why we
MUST remember and return to keeping The Law (
Mal. 4).
Galatians 3:20-26
3:20 Now
a mediator is not [a mediator] for one, but God is
ONE (
NOT a trinity).
3:21
[Is] The Law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given Life, verily righteousness should have been by The Law.
Note well: If we would have kept The Law, Christ would not have had to suffer the agony of the cross to pay the penalty for
OUR LAWLESSNESS.
3:22 But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe [him].
3:23 But before faith came13, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed (
Jer. 31:31-34,
Heb. 8:10-12).
Note well: Faith is trust in God, that He
ALWAYS knows what is best and that His Law is
PERFECT, Just and Fair for
ALL. It is a lack of faith and/or will-power to resist temptation that causes us to sin/break The Law. And when we sin/break The Law, we make a mockery of Christ's Sacrifice.
3:24 Wherefore
The Law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith14.
Note well: The
ONLY way The Law can be a schoolmaster/teacher is
IF we study it, learn from it and keep and apply it. There is simply no other way to learn the lessons that can
ONLY come from keeping The Law, and
ONLY THOSE LESSONS can bring us to Christ.
3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (but under Christ, Who is The Word/Law made flesh –
John 1:14).
3:26 For ye are all the (adopted) children of God (
IF ye do His Will) by faith (trust) in Christ Jesus.
John 14:15
IF ye love me, KEEP my COMMANDments.
Galatians 4:21-31
4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under The Law, do ye not hear The Law (
he who sins not breaks not, and so needs not, The Law)?
4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
4:23 But he [who was] of the bondwoman was born after
the flesh; but he of the freewoman [was] by promise (the Good News).
4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two Covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage (for those who refuse to keep The Law given to us on Mt. Sinai), which is Hagar.
4:25 For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children (bondage to sin, i.e. transgressing The Law).
4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother (of cities) of us all.
4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, [thou] barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
4:29 But as then
he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so [it is] now (
John 3:3-7)
.
4:30 Nevertheless what saith the Scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman (Hagar, who gave birth to Ishmael), but of the free (Sarah, who gave birth to Isaac).
Keeping The Law = FREEDOM FROM SIN, SUFFERING AND DEATH.
Breaking The Law = BONDAGE TO SIN, SUFFERING AND DEATH. THE WAGES OS
The choice, as always, is ours to make.
Deuteronomy 30:15-20
30:15 See,
I have set before thee this day
life and good, and
death and evil;
30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the "I AM" thy God, to walk in His Ways, and to
keep His Commandments and His Statutes and His Judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the "I AM" thy God shall bless thee in the land where thou goest to possess it.
30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
30:18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, [and that] ye shall not prolong [your] days upon the land, where thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that]
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
30:20 That thou mayest love the "I AM" thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for
He [is] thy Life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the "I AM" sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob/Israel, to give them.
As above please. You trying to argue that good is evil and that evil is good (
Isa. 5:20-21), which will
NEVER work. The Law is holy, just and good, exactly as Paul said, which is why Paul was keeping The Law, establishing The Law wherever he went, and striving to share with others that unless we return to keeping The Law, we will remain in bondage to our
SINS, and spend eternity in The Fire.
That which is holy, just and good can NEVER bring bondage and death.. Only sinning (breaking The Law) can do that.
Hence the
NEED to be born again and
LEARN to keep The Law/Commandments of God, exactly as Christ teaches (and as Paul, the
student of Christ, was sharing).
Learn
The Way home or face The Fire.
