Is he a man or an angel ? Is he God ?

His story was written in what we call the New Testament.

And there we learn that Satan is called the god of this age and that the kingdoms of the world were relinquished to him.

So the kingdoms of the world belong to Satan who is an angel or god in the cherub class.

That means kings/queens and national/world leaders are serving... ? Satan !

Satan is the god of the world in this age.

So if you don't serve him you can forget about promotion and TV time.

What's Jesus got to do about it ?

In a world governed by the Devil and his devils... trust me we need Jesus.

I know he starred in the movie Jesus Christ Superstar and for various reasons was nailed on a cross. He also resembled an American hippie who wore sandals and white robe. He also was a very good singer at least in the movie.

Yes many have portrayed Jesus in books and movies and some with more artistic liberties than others... but the original source about Him is found in the New Testament. So if you only know Him from second hand stories you might get a skewed impression of Him.

Nevertheless Jesus is of course not everybody's cup of tea... else we would all be sitting around and sipping tea. L0L

Sometimes you hear from someone claiming that Jesus is not God.

And that is to be expected in a world governed by the Devil and his devils.

According to Jesus himself in the original book about Him... he absolutely is God.

John 8 58“Truly, truly, I tell you,” Jesus declared, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

That's how God presented himself to Moses in the Old Testament.

14God said to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Also Jesus in His book said stuff like... everybody who believes in Him will not perish and He would be the judge of everybody etc etc

Matthew 22 41While the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus questioned them:

42“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?

“David’s,” they answered.

43Jesus said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord’? For he says:

44‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.” ’

45So if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how can He be David’s son?

Whose son is Jesus Christ ?

He was born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago as the son of Mary and ____ ?

That's why Jesus is called the only begotten Son of God... because He is the only child born on earth with no human father but God.

How can Jesus be God when his Father is God ?

How can Jesus be human when his mother is human ? L0L

We think from an earthly perspective and apply that to heavenly things... which might be short sigthed at best.

If we believe the bible and testimonies about Jesus... we must accept that Jesus is God.

And i don't have a problem with that.

Of course i don't know everything about Heaven and God... but i don't know much about angels either.

So i try to be humble... but God have mercy on you if you test my patience. L0L

Is he a man or an angel ? Is he God ?
Thankfully God our Saviour.

His story was written in what we call the New Testament.
This is strictly not true as Jesus was written of in the Old Testament too. There are prophecies about His birth, mission, death and more.

For example the book of Hebrews quotes Psalms to prove that Jesus is God:

“But of the Son he says,
‘Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever. . . .

And,
‘Thou, Lord, didst found the earth
in the beginning’”
(Hebrews 1:8-12, from Psalms 45:6-7 and 102:25).

And there we learn that Satan is called the god of this age and that the kingdoms of the world were relinquished to him.
This is written of in the Old testament too. Anyone who studied the Bible then with only the Old testament would know that Satan is the prince of this world. How would they know?

When God first established Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He entrusted them with the management of Eden (Genesis 2:8,15), and the care of all creatures in the waters, skies, and upon the earth (Genesis 1:26, 28).

When Adam named all the animals, he demonstrated his stewardship over them. Usually the one with authority over something can give it a name; so, by naming all creatures, Adam was clearly demonstrating his status as the ruler of the world.

After Adam sinned, he lost that dominion. Satan very quickly filled the vacuum. Part of the restoration of the human race, made possible by Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary, will be when the redeemed are given Adam’s and Eve’s privilege of reigning with God for the rest of eternity as “kings and priests” (Revelation 1:6, 5:10).

The opening chapters of the book of Job reveal to us just how extensive Adam’s loss was. As we are given a glimpse into the throne room of the universe, we can also see how subordinate to nature the human race has become since the Fall.

Job 1:6-7, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Job 2:1-2, "Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Walking “to and fro” or “walking back and forth” is not just the act of a tourist. In Scripture it is a sign of ownership. When God gave the land to Abraham, He told him to walk its length and breadth (Genesis 13:17) , and similarly to Moses and Joshua (Deuteronomy 11:24, Joshua 1:3) . Satan, in a sense, is flaunting himself as “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Satan attended the heavenly council as earth’s representative since Adam and Eve had sinned and had lost dominion because they listened to Satan and not God. However, since his defeat at the cross, Satan and his fallen angels have been confined to the earth as a prison, until they receive their punishment (2 Peter 2:4, Jude 6). Jesus foretold this event saying, “Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out” (John 12:31).

So the kingdoms of the world belong to Satan who is an angel or god in the cherub class.
Sadly the kingdoms of this world belong to Satan. He rules the world and its material wealth which is temporary. His time will soon expire

That means kings/queens and national/world leaders are serving... ? Satan !
Yes.

He's the messenger of God, but people like to overcomplicate things and say how he's God in human flesh, and when he was born on earth, he had no idea that he was God until he reached the age of reason and came to the conclusion that he's actually God, but nevermind the fact that he said that His Father is bigger than him. Let's just pretend that the Bible never described Jesus praying to God and so on and on...
Hilarious.

Yes.

You pray to a God who was nailed to the cross by human beings?
You call that your Saviour? A dying God? A God who wanted to understand "the human race" better? I don't think so, mate.

Sure Messiah is the red thread in the Old Testament... and in the New Testament we learn about Him.
We learn about Him in both Testaments.

"Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began" (2 Timothy 1:8-9). These verses reveal the eternal nature of salvation; they show that the plan for our redemption had been planned a long time ago.

So it is no wonder that all through the Old Testament Jesus Christ is revealed in different ways. Especially the prophecies which clearly show that Jesus is indeed the Messiah.

I know it may not be as easy for some Christians to identify Christ in the Old Testament like they do in the New Testament, however the Son of God is actually more active throughout all scripture than first appears.

The OT prophesied Christ we get to know in the NT.

How come you came quarreling about this ?
How is this quarrelling? I am just saying that we get to know about Jesus in both testaments especially the more advanced we become as Christians. Yes Jesus was prophesied in the Old testament but that's not the only way Jesus appeared in the Old testament. You know Jesus is Michael the archangel, the Angel of the Lord etc. Every time God communicates with people in the Old testament, its Jesus who is communicating with them. It is Jesus who confronted Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, walked with Enoch, reasoned with Abraham, met with Moses, and appeared to Joshua.

We know this because God the Father has never spoken with mankind as the Bible tells us.

How can you say that ?

Matthew 17 1Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, [a]let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

5While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “
This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

You need to stop picking a verse here and there in the bible and make an absolute law out of it.

Alright,God spoke to Jesus that only time at His baptism but not to any other human at any other time. The way the Father communicates to us is through Jesus Christ. All the other times in both testaments its always been Jesus.
