There are so many dangers associated with yoga and meditation that nobody pays any attention to, and most of the time they are just oblivious.
Yes! And the worst part is, they push it onto people who are struggling, increasing their odds of a nervous breakdown.
know for sure some men practice it, but it's way more common with women, because they mind control them, selling the narrative that doing these things will make them "healthier" and thinner. Most women who do yoga, especially, do it to be thin, oh, and bendy, so that the man can appreciate their movements in the bedroom.. ahem...
In my unscientific opinion, men who do yoga tend to become effeminate, could it be influence from a female demon?
I agree that it is mostly pushed on women, because being flexible (in extreme almost biohorror ways) is seen as a plus for women, probably for pervy reasons as you mentioned.

It is also pushed on pregnant women. I would love to see studies that show any effects to the children whose moms did yoga during pregnancy. Are they more likely to be woke marxists and supporters of nwo agenda, more easily led into kne world government one world religion? Of course these studies will never be done or published lol

It's such a horrible thing to do. They are not getting the help they actually need. I bet the elites know this technique and that's why they have everyone learn this type of psychology for their degrees.

Very very possible and wouldn't doubt this, to be honest. It sure seems this way.

This is sad that this is even a thing..our world is falling apart, again women are alright with being slaves, it seems.

This is horrible that they push this on pregnant women like this! Seems like an attack on having babies if you ask me. Maybe if they perform it while pregnant, it will mess the baby up in the womb spiritually. This is so awful. Yeah those studies may not see the light of day. It's very possible that the kids will be born into more Marxist mindsets.

The church down the street from me is now promoting yoga classes. This same church in the past promoted Black Lies Matter and Covid vaccination and last but not least LGQBSWTF and vegans. Need I say more?

Sounds just like somewhere you wouldn't want to step into.
Definitely relatable.

You're so full of shit lol.
What part did i lie about?
- yoga IS pushed on those who are strugling with nervous/mental issues, they claim it will "relax " them

- men who engage in yoga DO tend to become effeminate, though im sure there are exceptions but that's what i've seen

- being excessively flexible IS perceived to be a positive trait in women

- yoga IS pushed heavily on pregnant women,

If you have a rebuttal then state it, but saying "you're so full of s***" just makes you sound stupid

You're making all these stupid claims with no evidence to back it up, so who really is the stupid one here?

- There is actual scientific evidence of the health benefits reaped from practicing Yoga and has been well documented. It's a health science, simple as that.

- As for men becoming "effeminate" by practicing Yoga, that is the stupidest, most laughable thing I've heard. They're all in shape as a result of practicing Yoga, so I don't know how "in shape" = "effeminate".

- Yes, certain poses are recommended to pregnant women and greatly benefit both the mother and the baby.

So maybe try again. Your xenophobia and utter ignorance is showing.

Science? The same science that claims the vax is safe and effective and men can become women?

There's plenty of sources out there indicating there are spiritual dangers to yoga, some even mentioned throughout this thread. Science and medicine takes a materialist view of the human body, so of course they will separate the physical from the spiritual. That someone becomes more flexible or decreases their back pain had no bearing on spirirual damage.

Even some yoga practicioners have mentioned there is a danger to separating what was part of a spiritual discipline reserved for practicioners who were on a spiritual path and giving it to a bunch of westerners without any preparation whatsoever.

You're entitled to your opinion but i can think of few things more effeminate than a man who can bend himself in half and put his feet behind his ankles. EDIT: meant behind his ears LOL

I am so pleased that you acknowledge it is a baby and not a clump of cells :)

Anyway, staying active in general is good for pregnant women. Any kind of low impact exercise will do. There's no need to bring in something which has been disassociated from it's full spiritual implications.

So maybe try again. Your xenophobia and utter ignorance is showing.
Lol, i've done yoga. Used to be good friends with a yoga instructor.

No xenophobia (fear of what's foreign or different) or ignorance (lack of knowledge) here.

Is Pilates an ok alternative to yoga? I can’t see any difference ‍♀
I am actually not sure.
It might not have as many occultism
attachments but could be almost as bad.
I know that Pilates markets to certain
groups of people.
I believe stretching for a few
minutes a day would not
be so bad.
I hope this helps,
I apologize if I could not help more.

The main difference between pilates and yoga is that pilates is not explicitly a part of a multifaceted spiritual practice that has been removed from its origins. It is purely exercise.

That said, joseph pilates, the man who "invented" pilates did study yoga as well as gymnastics, so some influences (as far as movements) are there.

There are some movements that are similar, but there is no hindu praying or meditating or anything "spiritual". The only focus is on the muscles being used.

But, depending on who is leading the class there may be more yoga influences. When i worked in fitness i was also certified to teach pilates, and my boss wanted me to incorporate some yoga into it. I didn't, using the excuse that i wasn't certified, but i know that some of my coworkers did.

Classes tend to be expensive, and that makes it almost a scam. But these days there are many videos available online for a variety of levels, so mat pilates can be done at home. My advice to anyone wanting to start pilates at home would be to not skip the beginner level classes, even if it seems slow paced and boring. The basic foundation should be solid before moving on to more advanced exercises.

Reformer pilates would require access to a reformer obviously, but there are entry level ones avaiable for home purchase as well as professional quality ones. In my opinion reformer pilates resembles yoga much less.

I would say to follow one's convictions about whether it is acceptable to do pilates or not.

Also, a heads up: some (not all, i wasn't) teachers can be a bit "touchy" when helping the students work on their form, especially if verbal instructions aren't getting the point across. If being guided physically is not ok, say so - it is not required.

What about isometrics?
As far as occultism? Should be fine i would think.

As far as exercise quality?

Good for working on stabilization of a particular muscle, and in the case of something like a plank, good for core strength. Helps maintain strength, and bone density.
Also good for people who would be in pain due to repeated motions as this limits that.
Supposedly also helps with blood pressure too. Just remember to not hold your breath.

But since there's no opposing force it would be needed to do the "opposite" position in order to get a balanced workout.

I agree with @Allegra here.

I did yoga, even as a Christian, at the gym for years, but never felt right about it. Now I know why.

Also was taught guided visualization at grade school, in yoga, and even in some groups claiming to be Christian. Have repented of all that.

(short video)

(Other Side of Darkness, Beth, almost 30 minutes; don't let her nasal voice annoy you; she knows what she's talking about)
Beth has gained some weight and her hair doesn't look as good as it used to.

- LOL, you're the type of person who will drive away rational and mature-thinking people from the site pointing out elite activity, because of all your embarrassingly ignorant posts. You're not a good representation of rational thinking unfortunately and it reflects very poorly on the entire sub.

- So a man who's flexible is effeminate now, is it? LOL. Imagine having such a fragile, toxic view of "masculinity". You're not very smart are you?

- It is a clump of cells actually. An egg that has been fertilized really is a clump of cells. And women will decide of course if they want to be pregnant or not based on their personal circumstances and health. A woman who's far along in pregnancy and clearly wanted to be pregnant and is taking care of her health by enjoying the benefits of Yoga is the point being made here. Also, you're not a medical doctor to say what is and isn't enough.

- Yeah, you're a while "christian" karen who took her 1-day online teacher training course along with her friend and "taught Yoga" and now think you're some kind of expert on the "implications of practicing Yoga". More like a bigoted, intolerant, religious fundie who first culturally appropriated something, and now thinks she's qualified to critique it lol.

- You certainly are poorly educated, ignorant and xenophobic. We have plenty of scientific evidence of the health benefits of Yoga. Of course, you are welcome to spew BS to your little cult friends on this site, but the rest of us are laughing.

Interesting how all these xenophobic "christian" women who talk crap about Yoga, all look overweight and frumpy.

However, it's nice not to have that toxic brand of women in Yoga class, so people can at least enjoy the benefits with a bunch of ignorant, bigoted idiots spewed BS.

I did some research and here is what I found:
View attachment 23248
VC made and article abt that Aleister Crowley being a satanist so maybe there is more to it.

I also found out that Krishna Pattabhi Jois, the indian who invented Ashtanga yoga and played a big part in spreading yoga accross the world had the likes of Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow as his disciples. (link)

He was an hinduist. He's been accused of assaulting multiple women (link)
Like the thousands of christian priests sexually abusing women and little girls and boys?
