Since global famine awaits us all, i thought it appropriate that we should have a thread documenting food riots as they play out in various theaters across the globe. Ofcourse, the OP wouldn't be complete without the opening scene of the film Running Man. It was Arnie's failure to follow orders on how to deal with a food riot that led to his subsequent predicament.

Sri Lanka
There have been food riots in Sri Lanka and Iran for maybe about a week or so now. It seems Sri Lanka has killed some of its own political leaders.
Imagine if the same happens to Pelosi, Trudeau, Johnson and all of the other WEF puppets?

It looks like famine is coming for the planet and its possibly weeks away.

They want to own everything, but they haven't considered facing the man who has nothing to lose.

They wouldn’t play this card without having it gamed out. They know and are anticipating massive civil unrest across the globe. Afterall…

I think the higher echelons of power will use this opportunity to get rid of low-hanging-fruit puppet politicians who have outlived their usefulness to the implementation of the Great Reset. Those who are profiting from Pfizer stocks or lock downed hard inorder to save their careers or because they were just following orders will be sacrificed to satiate the hungry, angry, baying crowd outside the governor’s mansion or presidential palaces.

All MSM is in consensus that this Ukraine-Russia war will be a prolonged conflict (by design, ofcourse). Even the above Economist article mentions it again. So while the TPTB are trying to dissolve national sovereignty through “soft power” moves like the WHO pandemic treaty or a climate treaty, the ramifications of an engineered food shortage is the other pronged attack. When many gov’ts around the world fall, what’s going to replace them? UN troops will probably be sent in to restore order but once in, they will likely never leave.

The following is an excerpt from The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion:

PROTOCOL 3
METHODS OF CONQUEST
The Symbolic Snake – "People's Rights" – Liquidation of the Goyim – "Sovereign Lord of the World" – Universal economic crisis – "Ours they will not touch…" – Secret masonic agents.

7. We appear on the scene as alleged saviours of the worker from this oppression when we propose to him to enter the ranks of our fighting forces – Socialists, Anarchists, Communists – to whom we always give support in accordance with an alleged brotherly rule (of the solidarity of all humanity) of our social masonry (Ezekiel 13:10-16; Matthew 7:23-27). The aristocracy, which enjoyed by law the labour of the workers, was interested in seeing that the workers (employees/slaves) were well fed, healthy, and strong. We are interested in just the opposite – in the diminution, the killing out of the goyim. OUR POWER IS IN THE CHRONIC SHORTNESS OF FOOD and physical weakness of the worker because by all that this implies he is made the slave of our will, and he will not find in his own authorities either strength or energy to set against our will. HUNGER CREATES THE RIGHT OF CAPITAL TO RULE THE WORKER MORE SURELY than it was given to the aristocracy by the (* ill-) legal authority of kings (* Deuteronomy 17:14-20).

8. By want and the envy and hatred which it engenders we shall move the mobs and with their hands we shall wipe out all those who hinder us on our way.

9. When the hour strikes for our sovereign lord of all the world to be crowned it is these same hands which will sweep away everything that might be a hindrance thereto.

10. The goyim have lost the habit of thinking, unless prompted by the suggestions of our specialists. Therefore they do not see the urgent necessity of what we, when our kingdom comes, shall adopt at once, namely this, that it is essential to teach in national schools one simple, true piece of knowledge, the basis of all knowledge – the knowledge of the structure of human life, of social existence, which requires division of labour, and, consequently, the division of men into classes and conditions. It is essential for all to know that owing to difference in the objects of human activity there cannot be any equality, that he, who by any act of his compromises a whole class, cannot be equally responsible before the law with him who affects no one but only his own honour. The true knowledge of the structure of society, into the secrets of which we do not admit the goyim, would demonstrate to all men that the positions and work must be kept within a certain circle, that they may not become a source of human suffering, arising from an education which does not correspond with the work which individuals are called upon to do. After a thorough study of this knowledge, the peoples will voluntarily submit to authority and accept such position as is appointed them in the State. In the present state of knowledge and the direction we have given to its development of the people, blindly believing things in print – cherishes – thanks to promptings intended to mislead and to its own ignorance – a blind hatred towards all conditions which it considers above itself, for it has no understanding of the meaning of class and condition.

11. This hatred will be still further magnified by the effects of an economic crisis, which will stop dealing on the exchanges and bring industry to a standstill. We shall create by all the secret subterranean methods open to us and with the aid of gold, which is all in our hands, a universal economic crisis whereby we shall throw upon the streets whole mobs of workers simultaneously in all the countries of Europe. These mobs will rush delightedly to shed the blood of those whom, in the simplicity of their ignorance, they have envied from their cradles, and whose property they will then be able to loot.

12 "Ours" they will not touch, because the moment of attack will be known to us and we shall take measures to protect our own.

Well, if you are going to fight for food, atleast fight for the real thing rather than fight for mashed up dead people.

"Thorn boards a truck transporting the bodies from the euthanasia center to a waste disposal plant, where he witnesses human corpses being converted into Soylent Green. Horrified, Thorn is spotted and escapes. As he returns to the Supreme Exchange, he is ambushed by Soylent operative Fielding and his men. Finding refuge in the church where Simonson confessed, Thorn kills his attackers but is seriously wounded in a gun battle. As paramedics tend to Thorn, he urges Lt. Hatcher to spread the truth and shouts to the surrounding crowd, "Soylent Green is people!"~ Wikipedia

I thought this was one of the better articles recently on the designed food crisis. The rise in food prices isn't because of shortages or underproduction. Financial speculators along with agribusiness giants are manipulating markets for control. These investors are international but I agree the US has a long history of using its strength to undermine others:

https://www.globalresearch.ca/engineered-food-poverty-crisis-secure-continued-us-dominance/5790815

...The dominant notion of ‘food security’ promoted by global agribusiness players like Cargill, Archer Daniel Midland, Bunge and Louis Dreyfus and supported by the World Bank is based on the ability of people and nations to purchase food. It has nothing to do with self-sufficiency and everything to do with global markets and supply chains controlled by giant agribusiness players.

Along with oil, the control of global agriculture has been a linchpin of US geopolitical strategy for many decades. The Green Revolution was exported courtesy of oil-rich interests and poorer nations adopted agri-capital’s chemical- and oil-dependent model of agriculture that required loans for inputs and related infrastructure development. It entailed trapping nations into a globalised food system that relies on export commodity mono-cropping to earn foreign exchange linked to sovereign dollar-denominated debt repayment and World Bank/IMF ‘structural adjustment’ directives.

What we have seen has been the transformation of many countries from food self-sufficiency into food deficit areas. And what we have also seen is countries being placed on commodity crop production treadmills. The need for foreign currency (US dollars) to buy oil and food entrenches the need to increase cash crop production for exports.

The World Trade Organization’s Agreement on Agriculture (AoA) set out the trade regime necessary for this type of corporate dependency that masquerades as ‘global food security’.

...The current crisis is also being fueled by speculation. Navdanya cites an investigation by Lighthouse Reports and The Wire to show how speculation by investment firms, banks and hedge funds on agricultural commodities are profiting off rising food prices. Commodity future prices are no longer linked to actual supply and demand in the market but are based purely on speculation.

Archer Daniels Midland, Bunge, Cargill and Louis Dreyfus and investment funds like Black Rock and Vanguard continue to make huge financial killings, resulting in the price of bread almost doubling in some poorer countries.

The cynical ‘solution’ promoted by global agribusiness to the current food crisis is to urge farmers to produce more and seek better yields as if the crisis is that of underproduction. It means more chemical inputs, more genetic engineering techniques and suchlike, placing more farmers in debt and trapped in dependency.

It is the same old industry lie that the world will starve without its products and requires more of them. The reality is that the world is facing hunger and rising food prices because of the system big agribusiness has instituted.

And it is the same old story – pushing out new technologies in search of a problem and then using crises as justification for their rollout while ignoring the underlying reasons for such crises.
