You reduced my well thought-out, well written post to one sentence that made you uncomfortable. Reacting to words and isolated phrases instead of general meaning.
I don't
"oppose" hetero sex lol (what does that even mean?). I stated I wouldn't engage in it myself, that opinion engages only me.
You're conflating apples and oranges and seem to be oversimplifying my statements because you can't handle nuance. And are also dragging what I wrote in another thread onto this one, after I told you "have a nice day" to end the conversation.
The last comments on this thread have been arguing that men pose a threat to women's safety.
One man even claimed he would be afraid to even go outside if he was a woman, so I'm not being irrational by making these claims.
And yes, sex can and
does contribute to a patriarchal society and the power division men have over women.
Women are much more prone to feel pain, much at risk to get and develop a disease/infection, and to finish there's the risk of unwanted pregnancy. Not to mention, sexual violence is prevalent, so you could well end up with one of these sexual predators/rapists. Not to mention the social stigma and being treated as disposable if you're a sex worker/ engage in hookup culture. Men also get way more pleasure during sex and are way more likely to orgasm, it's called the
orgasm gap. And with the abortion bans, and the prohibition of birth control, it reenforces the notion that men view women as broodmares and refuse to give them bodily autonomy. The risk of unwanted pregnancy is even higher. This belief that women are brood mares is especially prevalent in religious spaces (coincidentally there are a lot of religious chauvinists on this forum)I feel pity for straight women. But again that's not my problem and they make a conscious decision.
