This is off topic but I wonder what's up with Boris Johnson hairdo or lack thereof? Guy doesn't even comb his hair. Trump had wierd hair but at least he combed it.

It's been that way for decades and I've wondered the same myself. Clearly he wants to look like this, but I cannot fathom why. Does he think it makes him look youthful and creative? Intellectual? Powerful? I hate to break it to him, but none of those things apply. It's just a mess, and don't get me started on the ill-fitting suits.

“I would reverse the permanent ban,” Musk said on Tuesday, speaking via video link at a car industry conference organised by the Financial Times. “I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump,” he said. “I think that was a mistake. It alienated the country and did not result in Donald Trump not having a voice.

“I think it was a morally bad decision and foolish in the extreme."

Musk also reiterated criticisms that Twitter’s staff are too leftwing, saying they were influenced by being headquartered in San Francisco, regarded as one of the most liberal cities in the US and known for electing Democrat and progressive candidates. Twitter is “coming out of an environment that is very far left”, he said.

“Twitter needs to be much more even-handed,” he said. “It’s currently left-biased.”

Heads will explode.

Well, the numerous bans [not just trump] were unfair, petty and stupid. Most people [errr... hopefully] can see that. Users have been banned just for following other users the Twitter Brownshirts disapproved of, that's how bad it has been. It further shows those following leftist ideology are incapable of discussion and must rely on crapping all over free speech so people don't see who they really are and what they're up to. It's an evil mob, and they rule only as long as you can't speak. This is much bigger than twitter.

I dont trust tis guy for a second. A man who can sleep with another mans wife (Amber Heard) and not feel empathy, is a bad man in my book.
I've haven't seen where this is substantiated, but there are more than enough other obvious red flags which are substantiated. When it comes to people in 'those' circles, I think it's just smart to question and always be on guard.

P.S. Hey girlfriend! It's so good to see you. It's been a long time since we crossed paths. :p <waves emphatically at vixy>

I just said it to my other half
that just because em says he is going to
buy doesn't mean anything as they can drag
out the deal years or forever while twit stays doing the
same thing they been doing banning/deleting and
walking all over free speech nothing changes

what are the chances that twit has more
bots than actual users?

Insider contacted him. He asked for more 'time' to respond to Insider, but never responded anyway.
SpaceX's vice president of legal declined to comment as well.

Hence, Musk already was in cognisance that they(Insider) were going to eventually come out with this story nonetheless.

He had to quickly write that tweet before the Insider article came out! To subtly confess to his act of sexual exploitation of the vulnerable flight attendant, without actually confessing anything anyway. Its called -
PREEMPTIVE DAMAGE CONTROL!

I am going to play Devil's advocate here and say this story does not seem very credible.

1) Anonymous source
2) If she signed an NDA does that include telling all this to her friend?
3) This comes out not long after he told the world he was going to buy Twitter. Why not before?
4) She says that her work "dried up" but why didn't Musk just simply fire her?
5) No documented proof of settlement

And until they have 5) all of this really looks like a hit piece.

Okay. And I am going to play the plaintiff's lawyer:)

1) Anonymous. Sure, should the story is credible then identities of the victim flight attendant as well as her confidant, if disclosed, will be prone to all kinds of social/verbal (may even physical) attacks as well as being demonised/gaslit.

2) Should one carefully and thoroughly peruse the BusinessInsider article they will be able to outline a timeline of events. What I have outlined is that, merely post the act of alleged exploitation the NDA wasnt signed.
After the alleged act (that happend above in the sky, inside the flight) took place, the flight landed. The victim then (in her free/no-work hours) made her friend/confidant privy to the details of the traumatic event that unfolded in the flight.
"..the attendant told her about the misconduct while they were on a hike together shortly after the London trip."
Afterwards, because of the refusal to the alleged proposition, the work started to dry up for that flight attendant and hence she probably had to take a private route (albeit slightly legal i.e. declaration) to obtain a solution to this predicament (made allegedly by Musk nonethless in the first place).
NDA was after the declaration by the friend/confidant. NDA probably was solely between the victim and the alleged individual. The friend/confidant wasn't mentioned in the NDA.

3) I do not see acquisition of Twitter being anything to do here, as (i) some human beings, especially women, require too much of courage to open up to these things in public becase of the fear of gaslighting or shame (ii) the alleged individual is too wealthy with links & influence probably, hence again, for victim, it would take humongous courage to come out with facts (iii) gathering courage takes time, better late than never. No where in any law it is mentioned that justice wouldn't be served should the timing of the disclosure of the alleged crime is late or too late.
Indeed, should there be out more stories akin this, then I would concur to you that it might be the Twitter acquisition fire rising all this smoke.

4) I hope Musk answers this. As I can think of quite a lot of things that may be behind the reason for NOT firing the flight attendant. (i) May be Musk was under the impression that by drying up her work she might gradually and eventually do truly give-in to the propositioning regardless? (ii) Or may be Musk was threatened that such a sudden and dire move (i.e. firing) might suddenly bring all legal and real publicised repurcussion? (iii) or simply Musk was under the impression that by drying up her work, she would gradually start to look elsewhere for work (in some other company) as she was hired on contractual basis anyway.

5) There were documents that were disclosed to BusinessInsider but not for the public and the confidant didn't want her identity (or her friend flight attendant's identity) to be disclosed in any way

Btw, this was Musk's tweet same time after the story was out:-

Sour grapes? Or simply despising the attendant all the more just because her friend/confidant made BusinessInsider privy to the entire set of events? #FoodForThought

Edit(Add):-

And the following too...

#SubtleMisogyny?
