your argument is correct and i agree. however, the footage is suspect. nothing leaves china without the governments permission. anything on TV that shows footage of china is for consumption by the west-- its a dead giveaway if the chinese police are wearing jumpsuits that say, "police" on the back (in english) which was what was shown on TV recently.

We should be skeptical of everything, including the video, even though there are others showing China destroying crops.

But i don't think China has the ability to completely lock down and silence 1.5 billion people. Much like the US gooberment can't completely silence me and you, there will always be ways around totalitarian control. Such as Tor, vpn's and so on.
