Reportedly, the tablets are even better. Longer shelf life and can be taken at the first sign of symptoms.there was talk in another thread of cranberry juice for urinary tract infection. has to be UNsweetened it's very nasty like 10 bucks a jar will work almost immediately use for maintenance too
for what ailment?Do you have any good home remedies that you have used to share?
I have mine.Activated charcoal really is amazing stuff! Polymoog is right: everybody should have some on hand. It's like a miracle for food poisoning, or any kind of poisoning.
oh yes--- good you brought this one up. its a great one. i totally agree.Tea Tree Oil works wonders. It's great for any problems with skin or fungus or even dandruff. If you have athletes foot, skip the expensive treatments and buy some tea tree oil. It'll heal itself within a week. I swear by it.
clove is in the top 3 of the ORAC list of strongest antioxidants, as is cinnamon (but get the real cinnamon). ginger is fantastic for heartburn or stomach indigestion.I have mine.
To Polymoog's excellent list, I would add the four big spices for their anti-viral, anti-microbial , anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties .... Turmeric, Clove, Ginger and Rosemary. Also get yourself some organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar and organic unrefined coconut oil then with a little patience, persistence, and good eating drinking and breathing habits - you can stave off or wipe out almost any ailment, God Willing.
I've heard that sugar works for bleeding too. Without the sting. I'm no wimp, but the bleeding will have to be severe before I use Cayenne.clove is in the top 3 of the ORAC list of strongest antioxidants, as is cinnamon (but get the real cinnamon). ginger is fantastic for heartburn or stomach indigestion.
i forgot-- for a bleeding cut, try cayenne pepper. works great. this kid cut himself with a hand axe on his shin in the woods. we patched him up with cayenne to stop the bleeding and then used activated charcoal to keep the infection away. he wouldve needed at least 10 stitches.
theres no sting. the kid didnt flinch at all.I've heard that sugar works for bleeding too. Without the sting. I'm no wimp, but the bleeding will have to be severe before I use Cayenne.
Good to know. I'll still try sugar first thoughtheres no sting. the kid didnt flinch at all.
for what ailment?
call me crazy, but i prefer to suffer and deal with the pain unless its excruciating. i like to walk it off. but if there is an infection or something on a person or animal, i use:
a few:
- honey (great antibacterial)
- silver colloid (antibacterial, antiviral)
- activated charcoal (probably THE most important thing to have in your med kit-- needs its own thread)
- valerian root (great for pain-- i dont use it!)
- clay with onion (for yellow jacket/hornet/bee stings-- i dont use, but a loved one did and it helped numb it)
- toothache plant (for toothaches-- helped this one woman. i tried chewing it and it does numb ones entire mouth)
- natural aspirin powder from the plant -- heard about it on a holistic vet podcast-- great for animals and is far far better than the usual stuff. found a small bag of it on amazon for cheap.
