I tend to agree with the people who think they're just cashing in on the creepiness. Actually it's pretty clever and I enjoy the videos they are very well produced.
Yeah it's probably just some sort of social experiment. Or they're trying to promote an artist in an interesting/different way.

I don't know if she is real or not , but im sure that she is not a experiment or just a artist who wants to make a parody of the industry. All the simbolism in her videos are very clear.
They only want that their simbolism (one sing eye etc) will be so popular that in the future be stupid to believe that all this thing Illuminati and mind control and NWO is truht.
Just look around you... they are everywhere.

While the whole Poppy thing may have originated as an idea for a weird multi media art project or social experiment on behalf of this Sinclair guy, when it comes to the MK Ultra, occult elite, showbiz slave, and pop culture as brainwashing tool aspects of it, "That Poppy" has become the perfect compliant avatar of them and their corrupting influence. IMO, this renders whatever Sinclair's original intentions were moot(and I have serious doubts that these intentions were ever anything benign/positive, or even originated exclusively with him).

FTR, VC chimed in on this...https://vigilantcitizen.com/musicbusiness/poppy-youtube-star-illuminati-mind-control/ with a pretty detailed read.

Her presentation plays on emotion. There is a goody two shoes virgin like play which is then twisted to make you expereince different things. It makes one wonder if they'll take her down the path to more degrading stuff. One of her mini vids was clearly deesigned to get in the viewers head so there is some control like functioning going on. The whole thing is quite layered but like VC said there is not enough to make me waste too much thought into it but mor than say, flat earth, LOL

Yeah her song lowlife is very catchy... the music video for it is odd though.
The music video is why I tend towards the belief that her and Sinclair are just cashing in on occult/brainwashing/satanism fears. But it is a good pop song.

I give these two a lot of credit they have a good gimmick.

Yeah I agree. And here's something interesting I found on Poppy.
Her real name is Moriah Pereira
This is a photo of her when she was younger

It's like they are trying to walk the line between underground and mainstream. Underground is real and raw. There isn't a lot of dual concepts they just punch you in the face.

They might carve out a little niche, but Idk how that will work in the long run.

Good thing that!

Now i just finished watching The Island by Ewan Mcgregor and Scarlett Johannsson (Dunno if i got the spelling right, maybe anybody can correct me, thanks?) and my tears literally flowed towards the end (i'm such a pathetic emotional fool, i know :p).

So, i'm wondering if there's a link between Island Records, which is owned by Universal, and the movie itself, and also why oh why did Vig not write an article on that superb movie, or did he? o_O

I'm new to all of this (I've been stuck listening to *2000s - not 2010s* oops - music for ages) but anyway it seems to me that Mars Argo at least had some emotion and personality going on. Ok, I've seen maybe 3 of her videos, and I'm amped to see more. She's not doing the "random" mindless drone act. It makes Poppy seem incredibly vacuous; why are people into that? I remember when Harmony Korine's films seemed artistic and meaningful to me (2006) despite being pretty gross and messed up. Is it an age thing? Maybe there's this voyeuristic aspect of like "MKULTRA lite" ... She's changed her whole look (nothing wrong with that in itself!) but that whole barbie kawaii baby thing seems totally cooked up compared to the vibe she had going before. Here's an image search for Moriah Pereira.

What's the difference between this latest 'star' and Lady Gaga? None that I can see. The music of all these 'poptart' music stars is depressingly mediocre. Yet they seem to have a lot of fans on youtube and such. Or maybe they aren't really that popular, and the fan counts are faked.

The difference is that she is she and Lady Gaga is Lady Gaga. Every person is unique in a way, each having an opportunity to become as best as can be. However, the elites want to enslave us and use us to their advantages.

Celebrity reach on social media is minimal. Yeah they have a ton of followers, but they hardly talk to anyone. Only the most hardcore fans really pay attention. And eventually they will find something else to be hardcore into.

The whole point of social media is to engage fans, but they don't do it. They pretend they like their fans, but they only really engage with other celebrities and people in the industry.

I think it's a gag that her and her friend, the director, created. I mean you gotta promote your music career somehow right?
I do think there is an underlying storyline that's probably going on but it isn't as interesting as Don't Hurt Me I'm Scared. Poppy is a young passing girl, who speaks in a very airy/deluded tone, who uses low hanging fruit like existential angst and occult symbolism, or pairing very basic videos with ambient/eerie music to make them seem more than what they are, to attract and attach impressionable youth.
Anyone could start a video series on Youtube like this, doesn't mean much.
It says everything about society that a girl putting on such a performance, saying what she does and doing the things she does can become popular because of it. She's apparently a huge phenomenon with millions of viewers. In a healthy society people would be asking her what was going on and why she was doing this. Instead, we've got people watching her productions on YouTube.

VC used the words "toxic mindstate" to describe this kind of thing in his analysis of the Brussels murals last month: https://vigilantcitizen.com/pics-of-the-month/symbolic-pics-month-0217/

- this is just more of the same. It's amazing some of you are buying into this. There's something called 'art' - which can sometimes be provocative - and then there's degenerate, openly sick things most likely related to the occult elite being put on public display because modern society now is what it is. This falls in that latter category.

'Provocative art'. Yes, and I'm Santa Claus. Some of you people having commented here are categorically insane.
