Metaverse. The next big deal. Welcome to "mirrorworld!"

Facebook will change its name to Metaverse. Positioning to "capture" a virtually much bigger market...

Of course, Hybe is into it, too. As it is already a multi-layered business, in metaverse sense, it's going to be truly "beyond the scene..." BTS.

But question: the business is still centered on betees as the "best-selling product...," is this going to sustain profit? "Brand loyalty" may not really work in a metaverse...because "consumers" might become more fickle in a transhumanistic society..
The fact that b*s's song along with coldplay, called "my universe", and the theme of the music video, was something close to the metaverse idea. When there's virtual aliens flirting with the group i guess, it's just the same concept if you look close to it, what do u think ?!?
Edit: also that "aespa group" all his song has the "metaverse" as a theme, redvelvet back in the days too. Its all about portals, mirrors, avatars., the smart universe...

Oh yes..you are right... it's a digital foreshadowing...

Creepy is a mild term to describe it. Hideous describes the bunch of aliens there...lol.

Don't you think some members ( maybe the youngers like JK for example) actually suffer of affective dependance ? Like, they can't be alone too much time, because of their bond, and that they know secrets between each others?
No, jk ignores the other members when they're not on schedule, shoot he ignores them when they are. He has his own set of friends and so does t*e. There were rumors that t*e moved back with his parents when he seemed publicly to be going through a tough time. He went to his family not b*s. Jm vacationed around the world without them and seemed fine. There is no bond that I can see..that idea was orchestrated by bh. If you look closely they can't stand each other. They can't hide their disdain for each other on camera that well these days.

did they know the meaning?
Jk does the L.A. fingers every time they mention the city, so yeah he knows. I think he's really into the superficial side of American culture..probably watches a lot of Hollywood movies. We already know he basically only listens to American music. So yeah he learned the Los Angeles hand symbol somewhere..just like he learned "let's get it" years ago and many other Americanisms. It's all pretty corny, but he seems to think it's cool lol.

i'd say yes! because metaverse works in such a way that it gives illusion to the user of attaining something previously unreachable. the fan will be able to interact with the idol in ways they could never have done before regardless of where they live. oof now i understand why p*dobang is not as worried as he should be when/if the boys go off to enlist. why? because he has their likenesses (their images when they were in their prime, their voices, mannerisms) ready for the fan to consume in other ways previously unheard of. someone posted how hyve used their voices with deep technology to teach korean to the people that buy their language program - that's only the beginning. sm company has been playing with this company as we see with aespa. p*dobang is just injecting more inve$ting into it. he also doesn't want the stock to tank when bteees enlists so he's dipping into crypto dalliances as well.

Grimes sold her ”cryptoart” for $ 6 million worth of Ethereum, everyone else is inspired. I wonder why people pay that much for digital art when they can always find it online . At least Grimes created her own art, so I can see the value. Buying digital merch is just a big NO.
holy sh*t! well kudos to grimes from embracing the zeitgeist. and btw as an artist myself, just bc screenshots/less quality save of my art is made available online by pirates/entitled users doesn't mean i intended it to be free. artists have to eat and want to live life off their preferred vocation, we should be able to live off what we create.

NFTs are very precarious...

Claire Boucher aka Grimes may have made millions worth of Etherium thru her sale of her digital art...and inspired many, but obviously, she's famous...so that added "significant" value to her digital merch...

But yes, I agree, buying digital merch is unwise, especially artworks...because any moment, any links connected to them can be erased...
nfts aren't the problem. i believe that if someone wants to sell something and there's a buyer out there then they should be free to engage in trade/commerce.

what i feel we need to look into is the bigger picture - the metaverse.

edit: and i'm not implying that we should be fearful of the metaverse concept, but if the well-being of the boys is a priority for some of us in this forum, then there are some things that should be discussed. i had mentioned the word expendable before ~ well...

Agree, the fans will pay hundreds of dollard to talk with lifeless images, they're pushing people more and more away of reality, and adapt a virtual lifestyle instead.
The relations between an artist and a fans will be more crazy if they adapt such technology, for the fans to interact with their idols, or a voice and an image, its just so messed up, the amount of delusions and fake realities will be everywhere. Theres more negative side effects to this tbh.

There's software that can make recordings with someone else's voice.

Yeah its not fair to the artist, and there are so many talented artists out there who barely make ends meet. I myself got tempted to create and merch my own NFTs now eventhough i am not even good at art :pI need someone who can make my vision a virtual reality. Unfortunately there is a lack of time too on my behalf.

The key word is "illusion."

The prospects in terms of "business" in the metaverse is "fascinating" because of seemingly "boundless" possibilities it could "create"... via technology.

More opportunities to make money for the already greedy global elites...

Metaverse is the "perfect environment" for a totalitarian mindset.

There will be more opportunities to "manipulate" the humankind...and lead them to love servitude more than freedom and authenticity...to embrace illusion more than reality...

This is dehumanizing no matter how they try to clothe it with "designer ideas..."

Are we assuming that betees armees would pay as much for virtual betees as they would for the flesh and blood real ones? Maybe they would...and the plandemic has simply been setting the stage for that...

It is very sad that we are not only heading towards a cashless...but a soulless society...

lol society has always been this way. religion, for one, was always used as a way to control populations. now it's just a bit more fancy with cyber optics.

and yes! people will definitely pay for a virtual btees. they already buy virtual concerts - same idea.

Poor JK, now he's going to have to pretend to be Jimins boyfriend in a fucking cryptocurrency as well lol.
bahaha! bruh, can you imagine when they start making VR p*rn?? ...fanfics come to life for ships and also for btees member and y/n scenarios. company will surely start with "go out on a date!" wholesomeness where you can buy a date experience with jn or whomever (and ofc they'll be the perfect personas created by the marketing team; no tantrums, no pained expressions bc that would ruing your experience as consumer), and quickly go into blurrier, not so wholesome paths lol
