I decided to start taking a steroid

Yeah, I decided to start taking a steroid. I have been taking up to 10,000 IU of Cholecalciferol for around 2 months now. I recently came across an interesting study about how this particular steroid may aid muscle growth. I do not support other steroids but this one is actually very good. In fact, I may even consider selling my own at some stage if the opportunity presents itself. I did some research on the issue and it seemed prudent to take a stronger dose. I have tried obtaining higher doses of the steroid from various distributors because a 10,000 IU dose is often seized by customs if you try to import it. I have only been able to find the steroid in NZ at 1,000 IU doses but anything more than that is near on impossible to access. My way around this has been to take ten doses throughout the day (at 1,000 IU) until I find a way to purchase the 10,000 IU version without it being seized by customs. On a few occasions, I have done some rather "heroic doses" of up to 15,000 IU and have not noticed any side effects. Those who seek to villainize high doses of this steroid likely want men to be weaklings. Anyway, that is my 2 cents worth. It seems to be doing its job.

Once the sun is out then it will no longer be necessary to take the steroid. However, due to it being winter, as well as being in level 4 lockdown then many people are not getting enough sunlight - therefore it is important to make sure you optimize your Vitamin D levels.

Vitamin D is technically a steroid guys so yeah, don't worry, I am not losing the plot or anything.

Vitamin D3

It's on store shelves @2000 IU, I believe-- I can't imagine why you're having a hard time getting it. I have a few bottles of Vitamin D3, I should be taking... but I forget.

It's much more interesting though when it's contraband! I have a pretty good summer tan atm-- but have you considered a small sun lamp too? My doc recommended for people who suffered from reduced sunshine in Winter-- I don't think he ever anticipated anything like what you're enduring though.

Level 4 lockdown... I cannot imagine.

I can get it but New Zealand only allows people to buy brands with a limit of 1000 IU. If you order anything stronger the customs seize it. "Very mysterious". Its almost as if they want people to be deficient.

I haven't looked into a sun lamp but from what I researched in the past it is actually not a bad idea as long as you do it correctly and don't go overboard.

I cannot say taking a steroid is good or bad. I took ostarine awhile back and it did wonders for my shoulder.

There's no "almost" about it.

My doc (now retired) always emphasized the importance of D3, specifically. He said it won't cure an illness, but it will abbreviate it, substantially. He also said, taken regularly, it will help prevent getting sick in the first place.

To my knowledge, it's really quite good for you-- not damaging like anabolic steroids.

Cholecalciferol is a form of vitamin D, also called vitamin D3...
Vitamin D3 is a secosteroid, and structurally similar to other steroids, such as cholesterol, testosterone, and cortisol.

The Vitamin D Council recommends that healthy adults take 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily -- more if they get little or no sun exposure. There's evidence that people with a lot of body fat need more vitamin D than lean people.

Customs interfering with D3 purchases over 1000 IU in New Zealand-- opinion on dosing levels?

i have not looked into this.

dr zelenko on his website, https://zstack.vladimirzelenkomd.com/products/z-stack , offers his own supplements to prevent corona.

this is his daily dose... he is telling his patients to take 5,000 IU/day.

i havent looked at mercola, blaylock, or mike adams websites to see what their recommendations are, but their opinions are worthy of consideration.

For MS the recommended dose of vitamin d is between 5,000-10,000 iu/day. That was based on an alternative MS protocol I was following and still follow loosely. Even mainstream doctors will recommend d3 in higher doses for people with autoimmune issues though I’m not sure what the dosage is, I believe my mom takes 5000. Considering a whole lot of the problem with corona (and the vaccine for it) stem from it causing autoimmune issues that seem to mimic lupus on steroids I would assume that taking the level of d3 recommended for someone who already has autoimmune issues would be a good idea.

not a doctor - all I know for sure is that after two years of being on the alternative ms protocol I haven’t had a single MS issue since and I barely even follow it anymore. It’s been almost 9 years without a MS flare or side effect. I’d hazard to say maybe it just rebooted my whole system and “cured” it but I don’t want to exaggerate since you just never know.

why would New Zealand stop a vitamin from coming in though? That seems crazy..

I never do steroids. Of course, not talking about VitD3 as a necessary supplement for everyone. I think, steroids are needed while medical issues. If not, it's better to go natural. Work hard, and you'll see you can gain muscles weight without taking steroids. The last time I followed the https://betterme.world/articles/7-day-meal-plan-for-muscle-gain/ suggestions, and got the result without any steroids.
