Do u really think christians in Muslims countries don't suffer persecution. Christians were suffering before the taliban got there. Isolation, ostracised u can read it online. Christians go missing in Afghanistan all the time. They had an underground church before the taliban got there. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Admits that it is crossing the line to put murder apologists and the Chuckles on an equal footing.

You just shot yourself in the foot there.

The point you make above is worth addressing.

Inasmuch as Israel oversteps it’s right to defend itself and deliberately targets innocent non-combatants, they will be on the wrong side of God’s standards.

Inasmuch as the Taliban acts in a way which is “religiously justified” yet morally repugnant, they will be on the wrong side of God’s standards.

Both groups of people, plus you and I will one day stand before the Lord and give an account.

The standard is revelation. Quran and Sunnah.

1. If they deviate from it, there is a problem. In whatever capacity they deviate from it, they will be called out by the shuyukh and the people of knowledge. But the one who has submitted to the words of Allah but falls short in the endeavour of implementing it is more noble and virtuous than the one who denies God's word and worships other than him, in contravention of the tawheed ordained by Him, and espoused by all the Prophets of old. This is the greatest sin. Shirk. Killing people is not the greatest sin. Denying Allah is the greatest sin, He who gave you life, and gave you the hands by which you sin, and the mouth by which you announce your rejection of Him.

2. You do not espouse this standard.

3. Western govts do not espouse this standard.

Thus you will judge them according to your standard, where you think Israel is defending itself, and where twenty years of occupation by NATO is happy days and a fairy wonderland compared to one hour under the Taliban.

It is impossible to live openly as a Christian in Afghanistan. Leaving Islam is considered shameful, and Christian converts face dire consequences if their new faith is discovered. Either they have to flee the country or they will be killed.

If a Christian’s family discovers they have converted, their family, clan or tribe has to save its ‘honour’ by disowning the believer, or even killing them. Christians from a Muslim background can also be sectioned in a psychiatric hospital, because leaving Islam is considered a sign of insanity.

And here is the crux of it.

If Islam is implemented consistently in Afghanistan from now on, the world will be watching and judging for themselves whether the moral law as envisaged by Muhammad is the standard of perfection, or the distortion of God’s true law filtered through the desires, ambitions and prejudices of a fallen man.

Read 2 again.

You do not espouse this standard.

You do not know what this standard is. You do not know its prescriptions and prohibitions. The terms fiqh, aqidah, usool, tafseer, sahih, daif, hasan, mutaffaqun alayh, mawdu', ilm, madhab, qiyas, urf are foreign jargon to you. You do not know nothing of Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafi'i, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Ibn Taymiyyah, Sheikh Nasiruddin al Albani. A person can only judge according to his knowledge, and in terms of law, his mastery of its various sciences. So it is not your place to judge; your judgement will be flawed and filtered through your prejudices, ulterior motives, opposing loyalties, subjective experiences, and ignorance. Already, for several months now, we have established that you are not consistent with your own standard. You will ignore one thing and decry another. You notice the speck that is in your brother's eye but not the log that is in your own. Raining down bombs that are designed to take out buildings on innocent individuals, children, is not something to make too much of a fuss about. But one Taliban mujahid slaps a guy over the head for carrying the flag of jahiliyah, lets get over there with our F16s and knock some good ol' Christian sense into them. Or at least turn up our noses at their "cursed 7th century morality" from behind a computer screen. Well, this "cursed morality" is the basis of some of US law. The lafif system in Maliki jurisprudence stipulated that there be twelve good and trustworthy persons brought forth in a criminal dispute to try to arrive at a unanimous verdict. Sound familiar?

Lest you forget, Islam was the system of governance of many empires throughout history. According to the standards of Islam, some were better than others. The Khulafa Rashidun are the gold standard. Many of the Islamic empires were bastions of economic, intellectual, and social prosperity.

Nope, i come from a small town of about 3000 people. All of them Christian.

Lets use @Tidal as an example since we both know him. Admits to using porn and prostitutes. Like your Mary thread with him mentioning the priests contradicting his own statements, I've caught him lying several times so bearing false witness isn't a problem for some.

People have said you were Cassidy? This Christian VC user has taken on completely different people under different accounts. Another example of a habitual Christian liar.

I don't remember @ who, but I've made the comment "like ducks to water, many Christians have no problems with lying" multiple times here. While one of the 10 commandments is thou shall not bear false witness.

If we only looked at the beliefs, you worship Mary, @Red Sky at Morning hates this but worships Jesus. @Todd hates this and worships God alone. All of you claim Christianity. How can you all have Jesus's message with such radically different beliefs?

Don't get me wrong, there are alot of deviant Muslims today, Those that never pray, smoke and drink alcohol. But comparing the "west" to the "non west" religion is largely removed. Just look @Lurking009. Openly says its evil to kill the adulterer when the Bible commands this. Christians today prefer mans law over Gods.

We live in a "modernized west" where God is LARGELY removed. Many Christians Never attend church, many more never even pray at dinner, let alone anytime else. We are at a point where actual believers (which very well might be the Taliban) are demonized across the globe. Even those that have been propagandized the past 20 years have to ask how some small tribal group can beat the #1 military, the United States without the help of the Almighty?

I live in the states and my entire life I have seen Christians take part in alot of what they themselves call evil.
well I don’t know much about Tidal or any of the Christians you were around, I can only go by my own experiences, and there are many bad Christians, but there are Very devout Christians too.

I think the difference is, Muslim countries are very Muslim but Christian countries are very atheist even if they say otherwise.

from the commercialisation of Christmas to many other things, they take Christianity for granted and abuse it.

but there are extremely devout Christians who try to live up to the words of Christ with every fiber of their being. You can’t be a Christian when it’s just convenient and you can’t be a lukewarm, worldly Christian but many so called Christians, of any denomination don’t realise or don’t care about this. This is why I say don’t compare the actually devout, loyal Christians with the worldly, secular ones. They are two different things.

I don’t Worship Mary but we been over that before.

I’ve heard one person call me Cassidy, but that was just because I say my opinion about Lisa.

thing is, the early church developed into Catholicism and the rabble rousers decided to break away, that’s how I know Catholicism I’d true Christianity, because it’s pure.

also don’t mistake the Old Testaments laws with those of the New Testament, the old (the law of Moses) was fulfilled with the blood of Christ and the new laws came into effect. This is why “an eye for an eye” is no longer applicable.

also remember, Christianity is fulfilled Judaism. The Jews are still waiting on the messiah and we know he arrived 2000 years ago.

p.s I don’t think the Taliban beat the US, since I believe they’re just another CIA subgroup.

Yes, i believe you've mentioned this before. Why is Muhammad the most popular name on the planet Tidal?

Goes without saying Jesus (Isa), Noah (Nuh) and Moses (Musa) are very common Muslim names as well.

There are Mexican Christians here who have kids named Jesus but in Spanish it's pronounced "Hey-sus".
Yes, we know, only your sect of Christianity is correct, the other 44,999 are going to hell. Right?

Its kinda interesting how the Jews were afraid of saying Gods name, while many Christians think Jesus is god, while you acknowledge very few Christians are actually named Jesus.

You actually even seem proud of this when you don't worship Jesus. Obviously you should never give the name of God to creation, but according to you, Jesus is not your Creator?

We've known one another for about a year now? Its interesting to see you demonizing Catholics to forming some type of a comradery with one. Not to be offensive but I seldom see people like your posts however in the Mary thread it seems Snowfall took an instant liking to you.

So who is Tidal? The world may never know.

Btw, I'm not scared of you, not even a little bit. I've even announced multiple times that I'm in Houston TX. But still have no doubts that you are zero threat to me.

Peace Tidal.
I like all people Daze even you!

I just don’t agree with you.

Daze, I might be wrong but in both instances he said he used to do it, meaning he doesn’t now.

I do agree with this. My parents are both Catholic and growing up that’s what I considered myself to be, despite never going through confirmation. As I got older, I realized I didn’t really agree with that religion and became agnostic.

My husband grew up Catholic, going through confirmation, going to catholic school etc. He still considers himself Catholic although he doesn’t go to church, pray, or do any of the things instilled upon him his whole childhood. He even disagrees with parts of it, in hindsight. Yet still considers his Catholicism a part of him due to his parents.

Neither of my children have parents who are particularly religious. Our kids are free to practice whatever religion they choose. Neither are baptized nor have gone into a church. Because we are both pretty lackadaisical when it comes to religion, it means our kids will likely have similar points of view. But I’ll still raise them to research EVERYTHING and teach them about all religions, because that’s what I did at a young age and I found it bettered my life.
Can I just ask, have you ever been to a traditional Latin Mass or to a SSPX church?
