I'm not sure about backfired. Here in Scotland a new 'hate crime' bill was passed a few weeks back and part of this new legislation is that you can't call a man who identifies as a woman a man or you'll end up in court. and it makes no difference whether or not they have certificates or have gone through the 'op'...they just have to 'identify' as a woman.

RESIST. Even if you end up in court, God sees all and not bowing to their lies WILL have an effect. It may not be an effect we immediately want, but trust me, the world (and God) is watching.

Twitter is desperate to stop women fighting back against trans ideology.
So many women have been banned on Twitter for saying things like woman equals adult human female, or lesbaians don't want to date transwomen because they are exclusively same sex attracted, while death and r*pe threats continue.
Reddits the same. The recent controversy over that trans woman who was paid to moderate Reddit. Who was discovered to have a father who tortured and roses a young girl, and a boyfriend and then a finance who were also pedophiles. All four were into sissy porn and play. When people called it out they were banned on Reddit until it got to the mainstream and they had to fire her.

Trans or gender ideology plus LGBT have also been trying to force p***philia, trying to make it normal, from dressing up children tosexualise them, petitioning to lower the age of consent ( sometimes as low as 10) and to changing p***phile to map ( minor attracted person) so as not to offend the pedo, even going as far as to make a pride flag for maps.

Twitter is such a cesspool, they have a real problem with child porn, it's freely available on twitter, yet they won't ban anyone who has it ( but don't call a transwoman a male) it's so bad Putin came out the other day and gave twitter a 40 day ultimatum to get rid of the child porn or he's banning twitter in Russia.

Gender ideology is a cult, look at how they treat detransitioners, they abuse or out right refuse to admit they exist.

Terf is basically the new witch or heretic. Anyone who does not subscribe to pronouns are sinners. It's a messed up cult but since superstraight came out their little empire is starting to falter. I think that's why they are becoming more aggressive. More abusive they are loosing control and more are waking up to how toxic it is.

I think a lot of their influence exists online. Everywhere you look on Twitter someone has a new gender or pronoun, yet in the real world, how often do you actually meet a non-binary/trans person? It feels like they are trying to convince us that MOST people have gender identity issues, which, I have no effing clue why we are being encouraged by ‘woke’ people to basically support someone being confused about their gender. This whole not assigning a gender to a baby because they want them to choose for themselves is so unbelievable fucked up.

please don’t get me wrong. If someone does not feel comfortable in their own body and wants to take steps to becoming who they always were inside, I think that’s great. Crack on. But we shouldn’t be marking it as an achievement to have a mental disorder that makes you feel like you are in the wrong body... to me that is horrible.

I also find pansexuality a bit of a joke. Mostly because it is exactly the same as bisexuality, but claiming moral superiority. ‘Oh we don’t fall in love with genitals but the human being.’ Oh f@ck off, you telling me that bisexuals, lesbians, gays, etc aren’t capable of loving someone for who they are? It is so hypocritical of them to make a whole new sexuality to include trans people. whenever I ask people to explain pansexuality to me, they sound as if they make it up on the spot. Some people say that it includes trans people..... but bisexuality already did that. It comes down to personal choice whether to date a trans person, but how can pansexuality be a new sexuality if TRANS WOMEN/MEN ARE REAL WOMEN AND MEN???

The responses are very interesting! A lot of people are saying they will never watch such a fictional account of a historical figure. No king in that time period would have married a woman who was inferior in status. A dark-skinned woman certainly would not be considered suitable for royalty back then.
Several commenters said that Anne Boleyn was a very religious woman so she would never have been bisexual.

Anne was indeed religious. She was one of the strongest proponents for religious reform and Protestantism taking over England. Without her England would still be Catholic. It wasn't out of spit she truely believed in her faith. Agree or disagree with her faith she did it from a point that she was doing work for god.
She would never have been gay or openly gay. She was accused of being a witch and incest with her brother. But no one truely believed that happened, it was all so Henry could marry Jane Seymour.

Imagine if the world as a whole were to champion autism rights. Typically people on the spectrum struggle with metaphor - “raining cats and dogs?!”

As ARM (Autism Rights Matter) sweeps the world of media, sport and government, the use of metaphor becomes an offence and after fiction becomes too dangerous a genre the only books that are allowed are instruction manuals!

Unfortunately until more students make a conscious decision to say/ write what they think about those issues nothing will change. There would be a lot of students who are either fence-sitters or the silent majority like yourself.
Of course objective evidence AND skillful diplomacy will be all important to provide when doing formal assessments though. There are no easy answers when even educators/ researchers themselves are currently afraid to swim against the tide of wokeness.

That is what concerns me so much about wokeness in all areas, especially LGBT+- when the silent majority finally rebels against it, all LGBT+ will receive the backlash. E.g. Thanks to forced training of tolerance classes, celebrating women achievers and gay pride weeks my husband has formed a silent policy of not employing anyone whom he can tell fits one of those profiles. If anyone thinks it is not easy to tell who is LGBT+ these days -especially as they are ENCOURAGED to show their pride at every opportunity - they are more naive than naive.
People have no desire to have to walk on eggshells around fragile people all the time and if they can (like my husband), they will take action to prevent a potential troublemaker coming into their workplace.
LGBT+ people (as a group) need to go back to 'live and let live' and accept that they are a minority group whether they like that or not. If they do not they are going to pay the consequences long-term BIG time.

And on campuses, the university will stand with the minority group being "targeted". If being a "TERF" means not wanting genetic males in woman's spaces, sparing children from being brainwashed into gender confusion and believing in biology then I'm a proud TERF. But student TRAs are some of the worst.

Right now I am sure it seems like a failure. However as this type of story becomes more public, the outrage in comments is becoming more and more obvious. Only people with something to gain from Trans rights at the expense of women/ LGB still are displaying their support of Trans like they think they are infallible or superior to the rest of us.

The light shines brightest in darkness. The irrationality of transwomen = women is believable now only to those DETERMINED to believe.
e.g. In 2021 the news articles covering crimes have been subtly disclosing that the woman is actually a man by putting the photo in an obvious position more frequently than last year. The journalists know they can't say it themselves. The photo (picture) says a thousand words.

That story needs to be covered way more widely. Assuming she goes to the courts (it certainly deserves it) Iwould love to be the lawyer/s who win/s the case for free speech.

If the university kicks her out, people should boycott the university because they are not for freedom of thought. Speech is the expression of personal thoughts. IMO There is a reason why Chinese students come to western country unis - thanks to CCP thought programming they have no imagination or ability to think outside the box, an ingredient necessary for social and intellectual advancements.

I get what you are saying. At uni in early 90s I quickly caught on that writing feminist-friendly assignments guaranteed good marks. I bet in sociology departments trans-ideology must be supported OR ELSE. I am aware that health professionals are being forced to pretend that gender identity= biological sex. (Are they going to rewrite maternity textbooks next?)

I don't think that things will change online until women team up and go on the offensive against these trans-extremists. They have got away with so much because the average person never wants to feel threatened in any way if they can avoid it. It will take the "balls" that the transwomen pretend they don't have any more though. Threats to violence are only words after all.
e.g. lesbian dating websites need to develop a policy to block anyone who reveals they are biologically male. No exclusions.

She currently fighting it. Currently in the UK the government has had to step in and demand universities allow free speech after numerous university's have sacks professors or banished students for wrong think. Anything from not supporting BLM to trans rights.

Marion Millar is a mother, an accountant and a feminist from Airdrie in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
On 28th April she received a phone call from a police constable. Citing the Malicious Communications Act, the officer demanded that Marion attend a police interview in two days time over ‘homophobic and transphobic tweets’.
Marion was told that she had to attend East Kilbride police station so that she could then be driven by police car to Cathcart station as a location ‘with holding cells’ was required. She was told that she would be processed, questioned, most likely, charged.
Marion refused to attend on this particular day due to concerns she would be held for the entire bank holiday weekend. Her first thought was for the welfare of her autistic twins.
In response, the constable told Marion that she would, instead, visit her home accompanied by social workers to deal with her children.
Unsurprisingly, Marion was alarmed at this thinly-veiled threat. Her solicitor was unable to establish contact with the constable, so, concerned for the welfare of her twins, Marion made arrangements to accommodate them elsewhere over the bank holiday in case the police made good on their promise.
She then had to deal with this stress of this situation for a month. Eventually, her interview was rescheduled for 27th May, another bank holiday. This too was postponed, adding to her mental anguish and uncertainty.
Marion was still not told what she had supposedly tweeted to warrant such treatment.

On 22nd May, Marion described her experience on Twitter, garnering an outpouring of support with many people, mostly women, promising to attend Cathcart Police Station on the date of her interview to protest. On 24th May, The Times ran the story of Marion’s ordeal.
On 26th May, Marion’s solicitor was informed by the police that her interview at Cathcart Police Station on 27th May would not be going ahead due to the custody suite being unavailable.
On 27th of May, her birthday, Marion was informed that her interview has now been rescheduled to 3rd June at Coatbridge Police Station.
She still does not know which offending tweet or tweets have necessitated police intervention.
Marion’s Twitter account is still live, so why is a tweet that is not even of interest to Twitter of any interest to the police? Why is Marion being put through psychological torture of the kind that is used by abusers against women to terrify, subjugate and manipulate them? As a direct result of this shameful situation, she has been unable to sleep properly for a month and, after all of these delays and lack of information, the police have not even bothered to inform her as to the reason for the interview. This treatment of a mother of autistic twins is both cruel and disproportionate.
Moreover, why does a Twitter misdemeanour (if, indeed, she has committed one) require such tactics? This incident has serious implications for freedom of speech and protections for women and children under human rights legislation. This is a highly contentious debate around women’s rights. Women need to be able to express opinions publicly when those rights are in jeopardy. The police should be acting as an independent and neutral authority when injustice occurs and definitely not as the moral arbiters of peoples’ tweets.
From the outset the Scottish police have conducted themselves in a manner akin to forces in totalitarian regimes. This is state terrorism, ideological and political in nature, designed to silence an advocate for women’s rights.
Marion has been intimidated and frightened from the outset over a tweet, the nature of which she is still not allowed to know.
Please send a message to the Scottish Police Force (and all of those forces looking on) that these tactics will not be tolerated. Sign our petition to demand that all action ceases immediately and she is issued with a formal apology.

Online (unless in extreme circumstances) they are only words. Potential threats of violence from an unstable person is why everyone should not use real names, personal address etc in online discussions ever.
