I do not know if this has ever been brought up but I just remembered that in the 2012 sci-fi show called "Revolution" they predicted that Joe Biden would be President during this worldwide event that causes all electronics and electrical equipment to be non-functioning. Soon after the blackout event, Biden is assassinated. The rebels at the time of the show's setting identify each other with the code phrase "I am looking for the biography of Joe Biden."

Yes very plausible... i didn't know about this but it sounds right.
