i spoke to a guy the other day in the auto business. he said by july, there will be auto part shortages and shortages of new cars.
i am hearing the same thing in my business from my distributors. might be a good idea to stock up early on whatever you need.

the price of lumber/plywood is ridiculous.

The price of any and all building materials is up. Copper is up, aluminum is up, pvc is up... everything’s up. Great for scrappers, shitty as hell for anyone in the trade business and people trying to get work done on their homes.

With all of the financial and social upheavel, job losses, and uncertainty re the pandemic, the USA has apparently volunteered to do childcare for South and Central America, while 500,000+ homeless Americans languish. Priorities, yo...
This pisses me off to no end. Every single time I drive through my neck of the woods there's homeless people camped out under overpasses and on river banks. Because of where I live they're like 99% White dudes.

No one gives a shit about Appalachia and it shows.

This likely has something to do with climate change and the 2030 agenda. Seems they want 60% to stop driving altogether while the rest will use electric cars. Maybe in 5 years time the only way you'll be able to find parts is in junkyards.

Seems a sheet of 3/4 plywood today is about $60. This was roughly $20 before the scam-demic.

Idk if you've heard of Computing Forever but he mentions how the powers that be are trying to make it difficult to keep your home as part of 2030. This might have something to do with the prices of lumber since the majority use it to improve their home.

We need stricter immigration policies for sure. But the current regime will ignore these stories
