You asked for the logic, and I gave it to you. A low blow is far more personal and painful than someone criticizing a religion. If someone takes a shot at your God, guess what? Your god is going to be just fine. If someone takes a shot at your ballsack, you are going to be in pain. The fact that you cannot see that, and moved the goalposts to emotional intelligence makes me think you are not trying to have a fruitful discussion.

The idea that you and billions of Christians didn't all kick Lil Nas X in the balls is irrelevant. More importantly, it's called an appeal to popularity, which is a logical fallacy BTW. More importantly, my initial comment implied heavily how people here are disrespecting and tearing down a kid. So you calling him and me now as the disrespectful ones is just an appeal to hypocrisy, which is another logical fallacy.

If you want to keep the discussion about his actions, let's keep it to his actions. He made a video with a lot of symbolism, that's literally it. Unless I've missed something, which maybe I have. Either way, I'm pretty sure, Lil Nas X never claimed to be hating and judging all Christians. You adding that bit seems like a strawman argument. Now, from what I can tell, at worst he is mocking Christianity.

Idk why you feel the need to be the 10,000th person to tell Lil Nas X he's wrong. Like what do you think you are adding to his crisis of consciousness? More importantly, you don't know that he isn't healing and moving on. You don't know that he's not going or planning to go to counseling. In other words, you are just piling on.

In conclusion, if you don't want to be called a bible thumper then drop the holier than thou attitude. Maybe where you come from that's considered respectful, but where I'm from it sure ain't. You and others are coming off incredibly condescending, which shows your lack of emotional intelligence and logic.

A low blow does not only pertain to making comments on a person's sexual orientation. A low blow can pertain to any aspect of a person. That is the point. I do not see how you cannot understand that. Emotional pain can be just as painful as the physical pain you describe. Hence, LNX carries so much hurt. He is emotionally afflicted. Again, my point.

"The idea that you and billions of Christians didn't all kick Lil Nas X in the balls is irrelevant."

this has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything I said. Why do you keep talking about balls? lol.

"my initial comment implied heavily how people here are disrespecting and tearing down a kid."

I was not aware 21 years old was considered a kid? I am unsure why you keep infantizing a grown man. 21 is an adult. As I stated before, he may be emotionally stunted, so perhaps i loosely agree with you regarding his child-like behavior.

"Either way, I'm pretty sure, Lil Nas X never claimed to be hating and judging all Christians. You adding that bit seems like a strawman argument. Now, from what I can tell, at worst he is mocking Christianity."

His twitter posts say otherwise. I am personally not offended. I am confident, and I know who I am. I have total confidence in Jesus. He could do all that he wants against God and the Bible, and I will not lose an ounce of sleep lol. I just wanted to shed light on his behavior that displayed low emotional intelligence. "the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. " I do not see him displaying the definition of emotional intelligence. What part of his actions showed an attempt to build healthy interactions with his Christian fans?

"Idk why you feel the need to be the 10,000th person to tell Lil Nas X he's wrong. "

Why is it appropriate for an adult to antagonize an entire group of people for a handful of individuals that offended him? imagine if the roles were reversed. he needs to keep his energy consistent.

"You don't know that he's not going or planning to go to counseling. In other words, you are just piling on."

Did he consider what other people, that had no part in hurting him, were going through when he antagonized them? No. He only considered himself. And suggesting that someone with so much hurt seek counseling is not even negative in any way. It shows compassion. Why would I as another human being see another person carrying all that hurt and not think he needs help? Getting help is not a bad thing.

"In conclusion, if you don't want to be called a bible thumper then drop the holier than thou attitude. Maybe where you come from that's considered respectful, but where I'm from it sure ain't. You and others are coming off incredibly condescending, which shows your lack of emotional intelligence and logic."

Name one thing I said that was condescending (which means to act superior to someone else). How is suggesting someone with hurt and pain seek counseling acting superior? Literally the definition of emotional intelligence, "the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. " So, what part of his actions displayed empathy/compassion or consideration? Again, I ask this: What part of his actions showed an attempt to build healthy interactions with his Christian fans?

And at what point did I even do any so-called "Bible thumping"? Almost everything I said is just regular conversation.

No one anywhere online has actually attempted to explain the meaning of this line, but I have seen at least 2 people be like "ooh my fave part"

"Shoot a child in your mouth while im riding"

What are all my liberal friends cheering this on for? I can think of a few explanations for that line, but uh, the worst and most obvious BS is all I can imagine really. Pizza fan?

I tried to explain what the line means but ended up deleting because even though I tried to be as PG possible, it’s just too explicit no matter how you put it!! Do you really not know what that means?

I think everyone skips over that line because, don’t nobody want to have that mental image in their head!! Lol

You actually come off just as condescending (and assuming) as you claim the Christian posters to be.

As a side note, did you self study or take a critical thinking class? I find your references to fallacies a little funny..lol

No I assume the worst so I thought I k ow what it means, yes it is unspeakable. But I'm questioning if the fans of this song have an alternative definition of that line or what?

The only other thing I could think of was something like "I'm having sex while you're lambasting gay children" or "how are those gun laws coming along"

But either of those honestly don't seem right. So basically I assume it's quite literal

Update: I discussed the lyrics with a female friend and she assured me of the meaning behind the line. Not nefarious. I just never had that said to me before but apparently lots of women know what this means... lol

I will carry on now. Just a bit vigilant. Gay is fine, the other thing i assumed, not fine at all. But I was mistaken. Thank God for that.

Deadass. Like how? Their spirit is in overwheling danger. Look what happened to the niglet Micharl Jackson, he's dead. And I bet when he was still breathing, someone tried to pray for him but that dude went in his ways. Maybe turned God down, tried to save his soul. Poor guy is in hell

No use brodie
Did you really just call Micheal Jackson a racial slur- a niglet? That's racist as hell, but I've peeped your other racist posts in other threads I this site.

This shouldn't be allowed. Certain people act tough behind a screen but wouldn't dare say the crap they to to a person's face.

This needs its own thread really. The N word literally means ignorant person.

Sadly blacks have been indoctrinated to use it on themselves. "Hollywood" made it cool.

Maybe a few years ago some people like a youtuber named 'handsome truth' tried to start the GDL. Which means Goyim Defense League. I'm sure some here know this character. Whose been outed as an actor.

What's a Goyim? Most define it as a none-Jew but it means cattle, barnyard animals, beasts, live stock... Its not a flattering term.

There are still some people today who proudly claim the 'GDL'. While I'm sure those on the top mock them.

Do your self a favor. Drop the N word.

I do not believe you are black at all. Like I said, I've peeped your behavior in other threads. And I've seen other fonts call you out.
Why are racist slurs allowed in this website?

I thought that user was Asain, Chinese maybe, but I've been wrong before.

As a proud lgbt woman, I detest the fact that “the powers that be” are essentially, blatantly furthering their pro-Satanism negative bullshit using a black gay male. I loathe both racism and obvious negative depictions of lgbt people. Some of my most loyal, fantastic, and genuinely kind & open minded lifelong friends are gay men.

I'm literally black, though, how many times do I have to say this??? Are you calling me a liar. Plus, I stopped hurling the n slur because I got dm'ed by a member of the forums (some forums), that you could get banned for saying it.

The truth here in what you say, is that seeing the evil that you support for what it really is, is something that offends you. This is a looking in the mirror situation.

First of all, most of these up and coming “artists” ( in ANY genre; not exclusively rap music) are; to put it in general terms; not “lucky” enough to grow up “privileged monetarily wise,” and have never experienced what it’s like to own a fancy car, “nice house,” “designer clothes,” and have had to attend crappy inner city schools, have resorted to hustling (due to the negative influence of certain music that falsely glamorizes lifestyles such as: selling drugs, prostitution, joining dangerous gangs, and essentially a life of crime that many, many people do not successfully in the end, and like Jay Z says “ends them up in a box with embalming fluid,” in prison, or DEAD). Notice how this certain music is aimed at minorities? (The record companies pay other minorities who were also “not so well off financially” growing up to sell their own people a lie. (I live in a large, culturally diverse city, and have lived in “the hood,” (I’m a Caucasian, tattooed woman who judges others by their CHARACTER, not their skin color, and had not ONE problem with anyone when I lived in these “dangerous” neighborhoods, by the way)..I have also lived in “ upscale” neighborhoods, as well as neighborhoods that were considered “okay.” I’ve personally seen and known (especially) young men of color imitating these “famous & influential” millionaire “artists,” and some are not with us today. I was very impressionable when I was younger, so I understand. They’re eager to “get out of the hood,” and are influenced by these few “successful” artists who glamorize and promote a very dangerous lifestyle. For minority young women (I’m not limiting it to minorities only by the way..) bullshit, misogynistic songs like “WAP” falsely promote/glamorize women to believe that it’s “empowering” to sell your body/soul, which is the farthest thing from the truth. Prostitution is paid r*pe; plain and simple. There is nothing at all “ empowering” for a woman (or man) to take money to let any Tom, Dick, or Harry molest you& penetrate you. If these ptostitutes had a choice, and had a chance to make the same amount of quick (not “easy” $$$) to take a job where they didn’t have to have random (potentially life ending potentially dangerous encounters with complete strangers who, during sex; if the client felt like it; could easily choke them to death if he felt like it) I guarantee you they’d choose to exit that shady, risky “business” in a heartbeat. My point is that these “artists” are absolutely vulnerable to the powers that be at the record companies. We live in a capitalist society where cash is king, and you are (consciously or subconsciously) being judged (obviously not by genuine people who accept the person for who a person is, and not what you HAVE), your appearance, skin color (only by racist & ignorant people obviously), which neighborhood you reside in, your gender (only if your sexist & ignorant), etc. Therefore, growing up, these vulnerable, impressionable, naive young people who have been raised without experiencing the luxuries that are constantly promoted in mass media (consumerism, and the lie that it will fulfill you long term; ( I was once quite materialistic, but I realized that eventually all material things have the potential to be destroyed, stolen from me, and essentially do not provide the real fulfillment I was lacking spiritually..) I’m not saying that it’s a pleasant existence to be poor, but it’s well known (from this eye opening website) that highly successful actors, models, those in the music/entertainment business all have to compromise “something;) to “make it..” Therefore, any underprivileged person (including Lil Nas X, for example) was indeed vulnerable to do whatever was demanded of him to “be famous,” wealthy, and who knows if he even wrote and came up with the negative premise of that Satanic video. We will never know what truly goes on behind closed doors regarding record deals, modeling/actor’s business contracts. I think the powers that be chose a black gay male on purpose to glorify Satanism. By the way, it is completely ignorant & awfully judgmental of you to falsely claim that that stupid video proves that’s being lesbian, bisexual, trans, or gay is inherently evil. I have unfortunately personally encountered COUNTLESS “bad,” “intentionally cruel, ABUSIVE (to myself and many, many other women have had traumatic, negative similar experiences throughout our ENTIRE lives done to us purposely to hurt us, or attempted, seriously harrowing “incidents” exclusively performed by HETEROSEXUAL MALES, NOT other women or gay/bi/ men trans people. Just because a video like Lil Nas X’s is out there does not prove (to anyone who is capable of thinking outside the box, and looking deeper into the negative purpose of this shitty video), which portrays a gay male of color as a pro-evil Satanic individual does NOT in REALITY (it’s obviously a video created to shock people) prove that ALL lgbt people are “evil.” That video does NOT represent both myself as a bisexual woman OR any gay male (regardless) of their skin color is EVIL. This website claims the media is pushing a “pro lgbt agenda.” Bullshit. LGBT people have been invisible for decades in mainstream media. In closing, (and I’ve mentioned this before), I did not wake up one sunny day and say “Hey! Let me choose to be bisexual and confuse the hell out of myself/ feel shame and think I was a pervert for experiencing strong sexual attraction to both genders! I HAD to move to a liberal, open minded, culturally & sexually diverse large city to learn to accept & love myself for who I really am. A few sexy gay men in the past & I have non successfully attempted to have sexual intercourse. Guess what? (I am a large breasted naturally, stylish, fun, in shape, flamboyant & intelligent young woman who even gay men have been hot for, as I was attracted to them. They ultimately could not get an erection…Give gay men a break ok?! Our sexuality is NOT a choice, and we are NOT all “evil.” Plus, if your a heterosexual male; all the more women for YOU to potentially date/have sex with!! Evil heterosexual males greatly outnumber “evil gay men!” Your gender refuses to stop raping women (and men..), your gender is featured in astounding numbers on the national sex registry, there are way more males in prison than solely gay men & straight/bi women/trans individuals… you get the point. If anyone is “evil” in our society, it’s heterosexual males. Before you insult others who happen to be different than you, take a good look in the mirror first!
