Provocative title I know. Now that I have your attention, I'm keen to discuss the coverage of transgender, transsexual and pan sexual young people (and any other titles that I'm ignorant of included) in the media, in particular on television.

I'm noticing a lot of documentaries regarding transgender children coming out when they're pre-teens and a UK channel called CBBC recently cast a transgender teen in their shows.

Any thoughts?

i have a toddler son and I am increasingly concerned about the world he's growing up in. There's a difference between a mature adult coming out as trans and a pre teen child discussing hormone treatment! Gender lines have been blurred and there just doesn't seem to be a platform of discussion anywhere without people throwing 'transphobic!' down people's throats.

I do believe gender is assigned at birth and I think it's concerning to see a lot of people so manic about transitioning. To me I just feel there's other deep rooted issues that aren't being explored in these individuals...

There are so many documentaries about transgender children. For me its quite a concern as they are trying to normalize this and the number of transgender kids is increasing drastically.
That's true, the issue of normalising something which to many isn't normal is problematic. When did children changing genders become normal? Media outlets are celebrating the bravery of these individuals but no one is critiquing the validity of their feelings.

The problem has been getting worse ever since "born this way" concept is becoming normal
but it all reminds me of this verse from Quran, where God tells us about what satan had promised
"And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah.' And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss."

Indeed the people are being mislead by satan and they are not realizing it and after seeing the society i'm afraid of having a child because i worry that the society will taint his/her soul

Yh I definitely think Satan is having a great time on earth. Dividing nations, poisoning the world with misinformation and encouraging all sorts of disastrous trends.

As for the point you made regarding the 'born this way trend', it's definitely becoming popular with the teens. YouTube is filled with transitioning teens swearing they're in the wrong body and honestly, if you feel like you're a man/woman Andy you're so sure about yourself, why are you so eager to prove to the world you are who you say you are? That in itself shows doubt as you're spending more time validating yourself than you are living your life. My point is I don't like how this is becoming the only point of view and the only way of thinking, why is it so wrong to challenge or frown upon transgender kids?

As for kids, honey I have a baby boy they're such a joy, don't let the world deter you from experiencing the joys of motherhood/fatherhood. All you can ever do is try your best with them, that's what our parents did and most of us turned out well.

I'm not an adult yet but still its really sad to see this happening and its hilarious that the people who say
-its possible to be born in the wrong body or with the wrong gender etc
are also the ones who say
-Gender is a social construct
like atleast stop contradicting yourself people

The way I intemperate this Gay/transgender phenomena is it is a convenient means to re-shuffle possible positions of power within any given establishment. It give's the powers to cherry pick, and export anyone inside any establishment who is willing to do lip service fr their agenda. Better they are GAY/transgender as on record these people think through their emotions, then rationally therefore getting them to pass some kind of legislation just maybe that more easy. Plus, Transgender/gay people tend to feel alienated, and misinterpreted in society therefore they are likely to harbour some general hate for humanity, as humanity has made them feel isolated, and fearful of exposure thus also more likely for them to commit treason against the republic for the sake of safety, and power, and security. Also, it extends into destroying the family, and making men more feminine as we know through out history men were a threat to any ruling party, as they are more likely to cause a revolution.

That's insightful I particularly agree with your point about the destruction of the family unit. I think it's fundamental for a child to have that balance of a mum and dad, but to even utter this statement is suicide.

I totally agree. I lost my mother at a very young age, and 25 today I know for sure that has effected me in someways.

No doubt you're right, i do think though the whole transgender kids debate is concerning and there does seem to be an agenda. Why are they pushing it so much ? Can't kids just be kids?

Traditional family structures don't really exist now, you have single parents, grandparents and extended family members or even foster/adoption guardians raising kids. My issue is by allowing and advocating this fluidity in young kids who can't wholeheartedly say I'm sure I'm a man/woman, we're putting the archetypal family structure at risk.

I agree that that's the most preferable option, but plenty of people can grow up normally and be great people even if they don't have that traditional family structure.
Yes totally but, I am pretty sure someone with a balance is better off then someone with a single parent. In terms of support, and understanding the opposite sex better.

It even gets darker. They have now thrown in phone's into the mix, and I am sure everyone know's at least one person who is always on their phone, detached from reality, no matter what event is taking place. Now, Imagine a kid with a fancy phone, at the dinner table with his single parent..do you think their is much engagement going on between the two? likely not.
