Any thoughts? Daft punk's work is ultra symbolic from day one in 1993, curious to have your insights.

Looks to me like one of them decided they didn't want to do it anymore.

I really liked them years back. Listened to their first two albums quite heavily. Haven't listened to them in quite a long time. Had Random Access Memories but it didn't grab me the way the earlier records did. It was... fine I guess.

Always admired their videos, wasn't so aware back then of some of the symbolism. Seems ironic that they spent all that time notorious for being masked and when they stopped the entire world was wearing one...

Obvious pyramid symbolism in the video. I didn't get a bad vibe from them, although I think like all heavily promoted, globally successful musicians and actors they have to be considered as a part of the control mechanism in one way or another.

At the end for both hands: The left hand (absorbs energy) of gold color this hand represents the beginning underlined by the date of creation of the duo. The silver hand for the right hand (rejects the energy), it represents the end. The same goes for the course of the sun which begins with dawn and ends with sunset; hence the sun, the light in the center of their hands.

For me, this one is memorable. It was 2000/2001, a reminder of a time of childhood & innocence (that i lost to finding out how the real world works) as well as the good old MCM days. I think there is another one they did or collaborated with the Gorillaz, or it was just a Gorillaz song, honestly my memory is hazy so the title wouldn't register but if i listened to it, i'd remember.
