Other Asian cultures also find red strings very meaningful. There is a Red String of Fate theory. The Japanese believe there are soulmates connected by an invisible red string. The unbreakable string somehow brings the 2 ppl together because they are destined to.
This concept was also shown in an anime I watched.
Then of course the Kabbalah has the red string too which many celebs follow.

I saw this on her Instagram. I don't know much about Hinduism so I'm not sure if it has anything to with it, but it looks like the all seeing eye.
i am a hindu and that is kind of a religious symbol. you'll see it here in temples a lot

Hey Pepsi, kinda curious here and a short stray away from the Bollywood topic...
How do you feel (being a Hindu) about the concept Christians have that if you don’t become like them/only believe in Jesus then you go to hell?
just surprised that everyone can ignore other past holy prophets

seeing people calling my beliefs and culture "evil" and "satanic" definitely isn't fun lol but i have spent enough time on this website to move past it and thankfully have found people who don't hold that belief. i personally believe in respecting everyone's religion and gods, my religion believes the same too, but if any religion makes its followers hold the belief that other religions are "satanic" just because they don't worship their God then it's not like anyone can do much about it.

thank you for asking this question though, not many people acknowledge this elephant in the room on this website.

https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/entertainment/many-murders-in-bollywood-have-been-declared-as-suicides-in-the-past-127849

"In a couple of TV debates, Khanna -- of the "Shaktiman" -- has claimed that there have been many 'murders in Bollywood', which were allegedly 'declared as suicides', in the past...
many crimes of murders in Bollywood are suppressed and turned into cases of suicide like the Sushant Singh Rajput case...
Tiwari also lauded Khanna's courage for 'pointing a finger at (Bollywood) where there is so much hidden muck' of which the Sushant case is just one off-shoot, and this will now result in a 'Maha Swachhata Abhiyan' to cleanse the film industry."

Everyone in Bollywood knows what's up but no one can speak up, not even veterans!
Is it just me, or does Bollywood keep a tighter hold on their secrets? VC analyzed some movies like The Neon Demon and Starry Eyes that reveal the inner workings of the industry but has Bollywood made any such movies? (large scale like Kareena Kapoor's Heroine)
sorry i didn't reply to this before. but yes bollywood is probably more tight knit because the size of the industry is much, much, smaller than hollywood + vc usually only analyses english language films. the closest bollywood gets to its dark side is madhur bhandarkar (film director) films but even those aren't ritualistic as such.

oh, and public perception of bollywood is at an all time low rn. people aren't even watching mainstream movies. time for an image overhaul.

Nah I do feel like there's more of a push to show Hinduism as more corrupt than other religions.
Then you have no idea what is actually going on in the country especially when its run by a cult that hates Muslims to the core.

bye. i suggest you look up gems of bollywood on twitter to see how exactly bollywood has targeted our faith (i will not deny that it hasn't targeted muslims either). also, stop bringing politics in a thread that's a part of the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. now if you'd please leave if you have nothing of value to contribute or worthwhile to speak of.

I'm not bringing in politics, my point is that it is well known that the bollywood industry is run like a mafia. And if you have a purpose of wanting to discredit something, you'll heavily discredit what is different to you because what is similar to you can be over-written. And in this case hinduism is NOT the former.
You see that with padmaavati, there were people protesting across india for somehow defaming their "hindu goddess padmaavati" by the film but the point that she was never a hindu goddess and was actually a character from a poem written by a SUFI MUSLIM flew over everyone's head.
This becomes a problem because you have masses acting like victims not realizing what is actually going on. If anything, hinduism is not being targetted to discredit, its more like its being overwritten and that is easy to do so because most of the population knows nothing about their faith.

That aside though, illuminati is last thing anyone should be thinking of when it comes to bollywood when its known that when it comes to playing with the lives of people involved in the industry, Bollywood puts hollywood to shame.

So I watched the whole Criminal Justice show from hot star.
*********SPOILERS**********
The show was pretty good and it follows the story of a driver who has a one night stand with a girl customer who later dies. He’s accused of r*pe and murder and goes to jail.
It turns out she was murdered by someone else who killed her because she found out about his child prostitution ring.
She went to rehab for her drug addiction but the organization was just a front for child prostitution where they are groomed for the rich elites. The girl wanted to expose this but they silenced her.
There is this interrogation scene at the end where the murderer says “we” did it. It’s very quick and not expanded on but the police officer says “I hope you mean ‘we’ as your husband and yourself”
These are very high class ppl who lead this organization and the audience must infer that these elites run this business to make money.
It’s a very short but telling scene that u have to catch.
