why don't you stop harrassing me?
It's an open forum. I can post where I like.
I just call out hate speech when I see it.

Why did you say this to me?

Its not OK to take out your anti woman, anti disability agenda on other people like that.
Regardless of what your daddy issues may be.

A gallon of milk just cost me $5.29 - not at some local overpriced store, regular milk at the regular store. Some poor person working minimum wage would have to work an hour to buy one gallon of milk (after taxes come out). That’s just not right.

Idk. I was actually really annoyed. Wasn’t that expensive last week, same store.

have you looked at the affordable care website lately? I just tried to run a quote for health insurance for my family and they want between 1k and 1500/per month and cover NOTHING. It’s insane...

I have not. I’m under my wife’s insurance plan.

Just go take a look out of curiousity... I put in a yearly income of 80k for four people (that isn’t my income I just wanted to see) and the plans that came up ranged from 1-2k per month with deductibles from 1600-16000/year and none of the medications anyone takes were even covered. At 80k a family of four doesn’t even qualify for any subsidies whatsoever.

Maybe I should move lol.. did you put in a made up rich person salary?
No. I put in our yearly income.
NM is an affordable place. Cultural wise. It’s not worth the move. We’re trying to get out eventually.

We lived in GA for college. I was probably more comfortable there than NM

Well my wife alone makes a over 90k
I was presented with options ranging from $400-$911 a month. This is full coverage spouse, 2 kid plans. Maybe I’m doing a different site. I did the healthcare

Your balling huh? Happy to hear it.

maybe I should move to New Mexico lol. My cheapest option was $947/month with a 16,000 deductible. There’s some site called pennie we have to use in PA.

Yeah lol. Wife is a coder for a big time company. So we’re good. I make decent too. We’re generally frugal or spoil the kids. So we talked about the home gym which is our investment. Just one bad neighbor which is why we havent left

They need to update that meme - account for taxes and places charging 5.29 for a gallon of fricking milk. With those changes it’s an hour for the minimum wage worker. Almost a half hour for the middle guy.
Milk is $3 a gallon here . $4 for a gallon of chocolate....
