people walking in the street

i am seeing a lot of people walking in the street and not on the sidewalk.
in the past year or so, it seems that the sidewalk isnt good enough for anyone anymore. they have to walk in the street.

is anyone else seeing this around their area?

But what did I question Mark about?
I dunno, says Carolyn, dare you ask Mini-me?
Hmm, okay, says me, meanwhile wondering where's the effing sprout!

Speaking of diabetes, I think we can all get the occasional diabetic attack even if we're not diabetic.
I think it's something to do with the body's chemistry getting temporarily unbalanced due to low blood sugar, it sometimes happens to me every 6 months or so.
First I get spots before the eyes and begin to feel faint with a hissing in the ears, then break out in a cold sweat, then develop a ravenous hunger and thirst and have to dive into the kitchen to stuff myself with all sorts of food and drink, and within minutes I'm alright again.
The doctor ran a diabetes test on me which showed I wasn't diabetic, so like I said it must just be an occasional glitch in the body's metabolism or something..:)

I get this now and then, get really sick feeling and shaky af and have to eat and drink something then lie down for half hour in fetal position on the couch then I feel fine again lol or as fine as I usually feel which aint that fine, been tested for everything but only thing that ever comes back is a high white blood cell count showing asign of infection and thy do bugger all about it so........................

I barely go to the doctors or anything these days, medically there isnt much they could do for me and if it was an emergency situation am not sure I would go to the hospital either cause the last time was a nightmare and they done nothing, rather take my chances in the comfort of........... well ............ where ever home temporarily is right now lol

Haha yeah, I only go to the quack as an absolute last resort, but thankfully nowadays we've got the internet and THE INTERNET IS THE BEST DOCTOR IN TOWN..:)
We can google our ailments and research them and end up knowing more about it than the quacks, and can keep tabs on whether they've diagnosed us correctly and if they're giving us the right treatment..:)

I have to say based on my own experience you are 100% correct!! First do no harm? More like first do nothing.... :|

Yeah and what makes things worse is that the quacks all try to cover up each others mistakes because the Hippocratic Oath says they should support each other like brothers-
Excerpt from the Oath- "To hold my teacher in this art equal to my own parents; to make him partner in my livelihood; to consider his family as my own brothers.."

Here's a classic example (pic below)-
She probably got her medical "qualifications" in a witch doctor's hut, then came to England and accidentally killed a kid because she probably couldn't speak english; she was rightly fired but her fellow medics rallied round and got her reinstated, you couldn't make it up..

I find it quite disturbing how so many people just take everything a doctor says as fact. I used to do so myself till I actually got sick enough to actually need and realized that doctors are just people and are every bit as corruptable as a shady drug dealer on a corner, only difference they get to do it in a legal way. Doctors probably get away with murder on a daily basis. If I wasnt so ill Id sue the fuckers for the shit me and my daughter have been through that could have been prevented. I figured out what was wrong with me twice and knew there was something wrong when my daughter started getting sudden headaches a cpl years ago, try telling any doctor any of this waste of time. Am just sick of it so ............ just get on with things the best I can.

consider them repairmen for the human body. many are worth nothing and you are better off figuring it out yourself. others can be true experts.

Yeah, I think many quacks are secretly on the payroll of the big pharma companies who pay them according to how many drugs they prescribe.
For example I went to my then-doctor (a young woman who was just out of medical school) 20 years ago and it was like a pantomime or Monty Python sketch, she didn't check my pulse or blood pressure or anything, she just sat on the other side of the desk the whole time.
ME- "I'm feeling a bit run down"
HER- "You're depressed"
ME- "No I'm not"
HER- "Yes you are"
ME- "No honestly, I'm not"
HER- "Yes you are, I'll prescribe you some anti-depressants"

So I gave up and collected the tablets (I think they were Prozac or something similar) from the chemist and started taking them as an experiment.
They made me feel bloody awful, I didn't know if I was in a dream or not, everything seemed sky west and crooked as if I'd entered a paralell universe, so I stopped taking them and after a few weeks slowly got my brain back.
It later turned out I had an underactive thyroid which made me feel run down in the first place, it was nothing to do with depression!

Rant away.

Hope you feel better.
A high wbc? You sure it’s not cancer?

Not trying to scare you. But you should seek another medical opinion.
