Again this is not the thread for discussion of the verses but posting favorite ones. I don’t see why you can’t just make your own thread for what you want to do and why you have to constantly try to hijack my thread?the 1,000 year reign is based on when jesuschrist returns upon his throne. while the rest will be reincarnated upon "earth" for not fulfilling prophecy.
Are ya trying to make a point here or are you really posting your favorite verses?John 3:3-7
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born from above, he cannot SEE The Kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (human) and then is born (later) from above as his spirit-"Being" (his REAL self which is NOT human), he can NOT enter into The Kingdom of God (Who is a Spirit-"Being").
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is human; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (a spirit-"Being") - (a human+Being).
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be born again.
Romans 8:5-8
8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace (John 3:5-6).
8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to The Law of God, neither indeed can it be.
8:8 So then they that are in the ways of flesh cannot please God.
Galatians 6:7-8
6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, THAT shall he also reap.
6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth [according] to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap Life everlasting.
Is it a different translation? So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat.
1 kings 21:4
I like the portuguese translation better tough
Então Acabe foi para casa aborrecido e indignado porque Nabote, de Jezreel, lhe dissera: "Não te darei a herança dos meus pais". Deitou-se na cama, virou o rosto para a parede e recusou-se a comer. "
They use "sulking" in english, but since this doesn't have a direct translation to portuguese they use "turned his face to the wall". To me it feels more dramaticIs it a different translation?
Turned his face to the wall is sulking ..They use "sulking" in english, but since this doesn't have a direct translation to portuguese they use "turned his face to the wall". To me it feels more dramatic
Oh, didn't know that! I supossed that sulking was a synonym for general bad humor or just being in a melancholic toneTurned his face to the wall is sulking ..
