I personally don’t agree, nor support any of the theories “sacrifice “, “cult “, “mind control” etc in relation to BTS. I have explained why in the other forum a while ago.
I know a lot of people who are in the freemasonry and most of the time it’s just basic stuff and connections. In America they do engage in creepy stuff, with or without Freemasonry and it always involves high ranking people and people from the entertainment industry.
That been said - since everything about BTS is made up to appeal to a certain “victim ideology”, One cannot know what’s true or false, but since TH has genuinely showed that he has/had a close to his grandparents, one can assume that it’s true and he did lived mostly with his grandparents while his parents were working as farmers.
From the pictures, it doesn’t seem to me that his family was so incredible poor, they (grandparents) had a normal household, he had toys and costumes, things that a very poor person cannot afford.
In this scenario I personally can only conclude that his parents couldn’t care less about him and sent TH to live more with the grandparents while they took care of the other two children, which makes little sense, because usually one sends the younger ones to live with the grandparents as they’re more difficult to be taken care of.
This has been my personal experience in my own family.
TH has huge daddy issues that are growing unnoticeable because of his own personality which developed into something more and more shallow.
He is obsessed with his father - typical for anyone with this complex, who has suffered psychologically damage, more prominent the older one becomes.
His constant need for attention is born from the lack of a father figure which was replaced by a very disturbed man, Bang Si-Hyuk and his activity as a puppet in a band, whose success is based on the ultimate stupidity and superficiality of a surreal “importance” that exists only due to the obsessiveness of young/middle age vulnerable girls/women. He and the rest are enjoying enormous attention and surrounded by fake people profiting from their constant need for attention with absolutely no merit.
Professionally speaking what they’re doing it’s a disgrace.
He’s constantly talking about his father which is the first sign of a psychological problematic and someone with “daddy issues”, constantly purchasing something for him or talking about “I’m going to buy this for my dad”.
Trying to buy his father’s attention which he’ll never receive because his parents sold him in a figuratively way of speaking and in a literally way - rather than worrying about their underage son being hit by strangers, forced to diet, extensive damaging dying of the hair, wearing dresses and girls make-up, traveling abroad surrounded by strangers, etc..., they are fine with everything he does, because he buys them expensive houses and offers them a lavish lifestyle (hence the luxurious house, furniture, etc).
He brags about “drinking with his father” , I bet they tell him no words of critique, but praise everything he’s doing because TH is very easy to read, even without knowing him. He’s constantly begging for attention, often annoying within the group. So all you need to do is praising him and acting as if everything he’s doing is great and he’ll eat you from the palm.
I’ve noticed that in the past year more and more often until it became constant, he says something and then looks at a person behind the camera to wait for “approval” and fake laughs. I’ve seen compilation with him saying something and then girl laughters from the staffers, even though he wasn’t saying anything remotely funny.
It happens with Jimin and Jungkook as well.
TH isn’t the only one here. The other two are also very insecure and looking for approval.
But TH is the one where this issue is very visible and wether it was a fake info or not, I can imagine it to carry some truth - staffers leaking information about TH being annoying and difficult because he constantly needs attention and will become irritable if there’s someone who doesn’t give him full attention.
If this was very noticeable on stage, I can imagine how annoying he can be behind the stage which is why, because it’s obvious that some of the members can’t stand him, I can understand how the others can be annoyed by him but have to keep it up because he sells the most and it’s the most attractive one, from a bankable point of view.
When they have a group foto, he’ll always do something to attract attention. Either sitting on someone’s lap, fooling around rather than staying in the group or like the last photo-shooting where he grabs Jin

All of that it’s not an excuse though because if you’re too dumb to notice that your parents sold you and ignore the signals such as never wonder why your parents agreed with everything, once you started paying for their life, if you’re not smart enough to realize that the people around you are using you, then the parents cannot totally be blamed.
Suga turned out fine, despite his parents not agreeing (for good reason) with him being part of a gay band and not having a real profession. You don’t see Suga having daddy issues. You don’t see him constantly asking for attention. He’s smart enough to at least not engage in this kind of a pathological behavior. One could say that Suga was even more a victim of childhood abandonment.
I used to admire and respect Suga fighting despite the family being against it and managing his way though. He indeed couldn’t care less about what people are thinking and that’s the only way you get to do things in life.
The difference between the two? TH was/is handsome but at best a person with no ambition or morals who destroyed every single quality he was given because he enjoys the superficial attention that his looks are receiving and Suga had to fight for every ounce of attention and admiration. Same as Namjoon.
TH had more native qualities than everyone else but one deficit - his face. A bit like the story of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
I am going to quote Wikipedia’s summary because it’s short and can be use as a reference to the situation:
“Dorian Gray is the subject of a full-length portrait in oil by Basil Hallward, an artist impressed and infatuated by Dorian's beauty; he believes that Dorian's beauty is responsible for the new mood in his art as a painter. Through Basil, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, and he soon is enthralled by the aristocrat's hedonistic world view: that beauty and sensual fulfilment are the only things worth pursuing in life.
Newly understanding that his beauty will fade, Dorian expresses the desire to sell his soul, to ensure that the picture, rather than he, will age and fade. The wish is granted, and Dorian pursues a libertine life of varied amoral experiences while staying young and beautiful; all the while, his portrait ages and records every sin.[6]”
I read the book, it’s a warning for everyone who’s handsome but lacks intelligence, ambition and is surrounded by the wrong kind of people. The ugliness and flaws of Dorian are becoming grotesque in that painting.
I have long pointed out to some weird shit TH has started doing. The principle behind it it’s no different than the story of the book.
Back to his parents - mean cold hearted bastards who have noticed that they can manipulate their own son into giving them money, by using a huge problematic character flow which will cause him a lot of trouble and (already visible) damages, for money.
You realize that they’re sitting there at the table that TH bought them, in the house that TH purchased, praising everything, fake smiling at their son, in exchange for a luxurious life style. Their own son. That they gave up long before this started.
His father, first worried that he would have to pay for his son if he doesn’t get a job, said that he will only allow him to join kpop, if he learns an instrument - so the man was well aware that kpop is a shitty thing and not a real profession from which you can learn or do something in your later life. It’s not like he was totally blinded by the “magic of kpop”...
Yet, once TH started to earn money, he wasn’t worried about TH not having a real job. Not learning for school, not educating himself.
If one approaches it strictly professional: Namjoon, Suga, Hoseok can earn money on their own. Either through songwriting/producing or Hoseok through dancing/dance courses/judge.
Jin is already long settled.
Jimin could equally do dancing classes. He is good. He’s not the best but I am sure he can give good advice.
Jungkook is capable of doing whatever one puts him on the table. He is extremely limited intellectually, but his perseverance, ambition and concentration skills are always up there visible.
TH who had everything from dancing, rapping, singing skills to a natural attractive personality on stage, has lost all of that due to his personality.
People will use his weakness and attention-seeking-pathology, will suck put him as much as possible, same as his parents and unless he puts a stop to it, I don’t see him ending anywhere good.
His character and lifestyle, attraction to meaningless immoral aspects of life and refusal of acknowledging his visible damages, are very similar to the character in the book. Dorian was aware over the fact that what he’s doing is wrong. He still did it. Because people were praying his face and he didn’t had to do anything for it.
