A recent recommendation I heard about how to respond to cancel culture:
“The only way to stop cancel culture, the only way to stop the mob is:
1. Never apologize to it.
2. Give it nothing.
3. Make no concessions.
4. Offend it on purpose, just out of principle.
5. Laugh in its face.”
Sounds like a good recipe to get beat up or killed by the mob...maybe why people..who aren’t brainwashed are bowing down to them? I hope I never run into someone who thinks its ok to hurt me for the color of my skin because of the color of theirs and also thinks I should bow down to them because of it. That’s why no one is going first to stand up to them but keeping low..hoping it doesn’t happen to them or anyone they love.

I live in a conceal carry state. My husband has encouraged it for me. I’m not a confrontational person, so unless I was just straight-up attacked, I doubt I’d have reason to protect myself in that way. I have kids and would feel zero hesitancy though. Desperate times, desperate measures and all that.

The purchase of weapons and ammunition are WAY UP here. Someone we know said their gun business is receiving less shipments due to the demand for weapons everywhere. That is the result of the lawlessness we face.
What do you think about the verse that talks about if you live by the sword, you die by the sword?

Gun and ammo sales were through the roof in the obama years too..people could just feel the danger even then.

Hi,

if I may answer to that question..
What do you think about the verse that talks about if you live by the sword, you die by the sword?
I dont think that buying a weapon out of fear could be called "living by the sword". But the underlying question is (I guess), how far Christians should go.
I, for my part, even believe that voting is too much. Because in some way, you are forcing (in the broadest sense) your believes onto others, which doesnt make anyone a better person.
Instead, everything the leviathan does, will be regarded as "christian", very much like rome and the catholic church.

Kind regards,

I believe that cancel culture is just the first stage of the final part (like 3-1 of 3-3) of the progressive process. I like to call it "autophagy".

This whole stuff is starting to digest itself. I believe it will grow stronger but with fewer numbers, more intense but smaller, you get it?

Thing is, it's hard not to offend anyone, and people are getting way more sensitive about this. I see it already in brazilian tweets, if you write or say something without first double thinking it you'll get the *BLAM*.

Look at the brazilian heresiarch Nelipe Feto (I won't write his name right here). He once made a joke about being cis male and white and getting a bit of weight and since he was joking about himself no one would get offended. Oh he was wrong and got a mild bash for it.

Plus, this:

1. Never apologize to it.
2. Give it nothing.
3. Make no concessions.
4. Offend it on purpose, just out of principle.
5. Laugh in its face.”

Well, pretty much what I have done to my old friends. Doing this stuff is being the counter culture of today. Getting married, eating meat, praying to God... yep, we're revolutionaries now. Viva la revolucion

Having a gun for self-protection is not “living by the sword,” from my view. I live on land and encounter other reasons that a gun is useful. I can also go to 1 Cor. 13 where it says “Love always protects.” I do not know that I’d be willing to defend myself by shooting at another person. I would, however, feel no qualms protecting my own children or someone else. Part of civil society is being able to protect ones person, loved ones, and property.

Honestly, I do not feel super fearful about all of this. I’ve watched other nations lose their rights to protect themselves and it hasn’t gone well. 2nd Amendment rights are constitutional and I believe it is a matter of conscience for each person to choose whether they want to utilize that right or not. I don’t see any place in the Bible that speaks that we have no right to do so, so it really comes down to conscience. I’d rather see more armed, trained, law-abiding citizens than all of the criminals and anarchists carrying.
I always wonder about that verse. Idk that the Bible talks about self defense as it is always talking about trusting God. So then I wonder that if you use a gun for self defense then are you in fact not trusting in God and actually trusting in yourself?

Yes, American citizens do have that right..but do Christians have that right? Anyway thanks for sharing your view.

Guten Morgen threepwood,
Buying a weapon out of fear would equal not trusting God wouldn’t it? That’s the way I see it anyway..though my husband doesn’t. He agrees with having guns because we can here in the US and he has some guns. I know men and women have different rolls..however, I’m not sure that he should trust in guns over trusting in God.

I also don’t see that people in the Bible are supposed to trust in self defence over trusting in God..but I know that people in this country get Christianity mixed in with pride over the constitutional rights...and call it all Christianity. Could living by the sword mean going to war if it doesn’t mean self defense..but then self defense would be an extension of that in my mind. Anyway, I don’t use guns myself and will be trusting in the Lord...and praying to Him for my safety.

For most of my life I didn’t vote. Didn’t see the reason for it. And really, I do agree with what you say. However my husband asked me to vote so I am going to be voting though I do think it’s a lost cause as I also think that the end times does talk about lawlessness increasing. Here in America this in your face show of lawlessness being used for political purposes by a political party is shocking. A mayor allowing people to take over a section of downtown and then calling it a summer of love? Only ending in what we knew would be true..it came to her house.

It’s interesting to see what the future events will be all through the world as we go more and more into lawlessness everywhere and less and less people who want to fight for right..we are going to need to trust in God more than ever.

Prager U have excellent resources. People just don’t like them because they don’t fit the narrative. I think the current mainstream media and their continual string of deceptions needs to be dealt with before people cast stones at Prager U. Go take on CNN and NYT then we can talk.
No doubt!

Hi Lisa,
yeah, i agree. And i would gladly die for being a Christian. But I wouldn't like to watch my family die, because of domestic terrorism. It is hard to say, what God really expects from us in this regard.

I also was thinking about voting,.. but even if that would change anything. I really doubt, it would change anything for the better. I guess, I just want to go through with it. Let them have their toys, and just watch how that plays out for them.

Kind regards,

Good for you, here in gun-free Britain we'll only have cricket bats to defend ourselves with, and if I ever emigrate to America I'd head for the nearest gun shop to tool up the instant I stepped off the plane, I think I'd plump for a .38 revolver because I think calibres smaller than that might not have enough stopping power, and also I hear 'volvers never jam.
Weapons are not evil, heck even Peter carried a sword and whacked the high priests flunkey over the head with it when they came to arrest Jesus. Jesus told him to chill, but the fact remains he allowed him to carry it in the first place..:)

Nothing wrong with a weapon as a deterrent.

I've had a lot of dreams where I was in shootouts. In a way, I was acting out my own form of cancel culture. I wasn't getting to the bottom of anything, I was just shooting without question. Basically, the whole experience was unfulfilling.

The reality is some people are just hell-bent on destroying each other. You could jump in with Odin powers and start throwing lightning bolts and some people will still be like yeah we don't care.

Food for thought- some cults such as the Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to fight in wars, and if everybody thought like them the nazis would be running half the world by now, and the japs running the other half..:)

Below; might is right!-

@TeresaP7 - I like the Prager U breakdown of “intersectionality”:-

Hi threepwood..
Just seeing the amount of people willingly going along with the masks in my state even before they decided to make it mandatory...you aren’t going to convince many people that the government is wrong at this point. The fear of dying is getting to everyone, no one want’s to die..and the media has spread fear so potently..that everyone forgot how they don’t trust the media.
