The apparent increase in cases certainly seems very concerning:(
The mortality rate is dropping though. So that's encouraging.

I tried finding more information about the cases in Ohio specifically. Evidently all the new cases are people showing symptoms. What symptoms those are, nobody really knows.

I think it's about time the government and CDC stop keeping the antibody test results away from us. I don't need to know where anyone lives or any of their personal information. A simple total number of antibody test results would suffice.

Do you have any idea which type of antibody test is being used? The finger prick one or venous sampling?
I know that evidence suggest the venous sampling one carried about by professionals is more accurate.
My sister works in a maternity unit on the mainland. The staff there, have all in the past two weeks, been given antibody tests. The numbers returning positive results are quite low, even when people suspect they had Covid-19 in the early phase but were not tested.

As far as I can tell we are mainly doing the finger prick tests.

Well, I know...I keep trying not to reply lol, but I’m just so pedantic! Like a dog with a proverbial bone...
It’s human reaction/nature to defend. You’re defending your thoughts. I’d still lean more towards a docs/nurses opinion health wise. But humans do react different to remedies, etc

I think I might have caught the fukn shit. My lunges hurt, it's though to draw breaths, feels like my throat is closingin on me and I've lost my voice plus my throat really hurts and Im coughing so my eyes are tearing. At most I can get half a sound through but thats it. Could be a common cold, I dont know, theres no fever yet nor any muscle pain.

It came the day after some guys bothered me at the beach by initiating conversation and then one of them moving to my towel and sitting EXTREMELY close (we're talking so close his skin touched mine, it felt respectless and a bit eery) although I told him to move a bit bc my eyes couldnt focus, bc he was so close. They also insisted on me drinking wine with them and gave me a used mug to drink from, I didnt dare to object.. Their friend had just been arrested hours before bc he had been trying to start fights and bothered girls around so a man called the police who wresteled him down and and I wasnt smart enough to -like the other girls around- move away from them bc I thought I should be able to sit around them without being bothered but nope.

Should have moved away from them.
You need to stay away from friends/crowds.
You always end up in sketchy situations

Oh yes, they do - I mean that’s what I tried to explain in my argument about science, before - even tried and tested remedies are not guaranteed.
I mean, even the evidence in support of masks, will tell you there cannot be 100% efficacy.
However, we very much live in an age, where everything has become “immediately fixable”. The reality is however, that not everything is 100% fixable, 100% of the time.

One mato rule them all.. aka..why the republicans have no respect..and trump does.

Republicans, with exception of Trump, now push mask-wearing

One way or another?
Not wearing a mask can cost you $50 in South Beach under new COVID crackdown

I gotcha. Best advice I can give is be prepared to defend your stance.

I agree. We have a lot of information at our fingertips. I’m guilty myself of self diagnosis, but if worst comes to worst, I’m still going to the hospital for an emergency. - point being is we have a lot of information which can mislead us or we can misdiagnose ourselves due to lack of proper medical resources.

Same with misinformation in general.

British news is reporting tonight that a “real men don’t wear masks” attitude has developed in the US, where the diagnosis of 52000 new cases in the past 24 hrs giving rise to increasing concern.
Experts feel that this new “cultural war” between Liberals and conservatives is going to cost America very dearly.

Maybe they just don’t believe the scamdemic?

I wear a mask, I just don't think it's the magic bullet we need in America. I think there is something to how COVID-19 spreads that is either unknown or known and suppressed.

Maybe people really do spit all over the place when they talk.

I think you are right about the masks.
I don’t think that there is necessarily a secret about the mode of transmission though. I think America has just opened up much too quickly.

We have had 52000ish deaths in the U.K. - which can by no means be described as a success, so we have no cause for complacency. But there have been as many new cases in the last 24 hrs. That’s staggering for me when I think of it in those terms.
