Coronavirus is like christmas, everybody panic buys all the food and toilet roll and suddenly everybody starts acting like they care about family that they spend the rest of the time pretending don't exist for a short while then everybody will go back to not caring and all the supermarkets will continue like they did before, medical staff will go back to being overworked and underpaid. BJ will continue to sell off the NHS and then go about shaking hands and slobbering over pretty women and babies and trigger the second coronavirus wave and it all begins again. Meanwhile I'll continue not to be part of the world as I have already done the last 10 years...................... etc etc

Yup. This virus has exposed a lot of people.
I’ve cut ties with a few of my immediate family members after my grandma died. Instead of using that day to mourn and pay respects one of my aunts and a few of her ghetto foodstamp tramp daughters wanted to point fingers over who supported our grams in her last days.

I’d like to see some sense of normalcy return though.

I hada falling out with my mum just before it all kicked off. I did send her a mothers day and birthday present though and has the bitch bothered to call or text to ask if her only daughter or oldest of only 3 grandkids is ok, no of course not and I am not surprisedat all, shes always been a bitch tbh which is why I told her in so many words to fuck off yet again. She will never change, its my daughters birthday next month, my mum will likely pull her usual of I always get the dates mixed up, cause like she has so many grandchildren, ffs I had to guilt her into visiting my daughter last year when she was in hospital, wished I hadn't bothered she was her usual rude, ignorant self and a total embarrassment, making comments about the woman in the next bed saying she thought it was a man, fkn woman was really ill with cancer. I always tell my daughter if I start acting like that lock me up or kill me fs. No wonder I grew up thinking I was adopted, more like fkn wishing I was. And sadly I am serious about that, totally fucked up upbringing, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and even at that I know others had it much worse but still :|

Firstly you sound like an awesome parent.
Do not let your mom’s demeanor control what you have going now.

You’ve made it this far.
I know the feeling dealing with egos, toxic people etc. Now that I’m older, wiser. I cut them out. I hate the drama, and anything that it ensues. I like for my family to be able to live comfortably.

Aside. Also sorry to hear. I know it can change your outlook on things. I can be rude on this forum, and part of that is the reason why cause of the people I’ve interacted with in person. But I’m also one who if you are nice to me, I’ll always be your support.

I have one really awesome bestie. Went to high school together then he even moved to GA job related. So we hung out and was sad when we moved to back to NM. But he’s the type of friend. I consider him a brother. I am comfortable telling him my darkest secrets. That’s how close we are.

So just know. Awesome people are out there.
Continue doing your thing and control/create stable environments for your daughter

I feel like there has been a flaw in the directing tiles in U. S. stores. Now with everyone going one way, we are closer than ever, the aisle more congested. How has management not seen this? Sometimes going down the wrong aisle will be better cause they are totally clear and that is what I do sometimes.

Exhibit A.

These new Government guidelines have had me laughing all morning. For those who can't access the link or don't have time here is a quick breakdown.

From 4th July the Coronavirus will only have the ability to jump three feet between people in England, this stops at the borders where it can still jump six feet in Scotland and Wales. The virus will have the ability to jump SIX feet everywhere until 11.59pm on 3rd July, after this it can only jump half as far as it could in England only.

Yourself and members of your household will hereby by collectively known as a support bubble, these are deemed totally safe IF.... and only IF there are no more than SIX people in your bubble, if your family unit has more than SIX people then the seventh person is potentially highly infectious and will deem your bubble potentially dangerous. In Scotland it is deemed that an EIGHT personed bubble is safe but a NINTH person will make your bubble a potential risk to public health.

From 4th July the dangers of inviting a second bubble into your household will disappear completely, do NOT do this on the 3rd of July as it is highly dangerous. All bubbles meeting indoors are required to stick to social distancing rules which means 3 foot in England and 6 foot everywhere else.

Thank you That Man Cock for keeping us all safe! You should get a knighthood for this.

.......it just goes on.....and on.....and on.

lmao, sounds about right!!

I wonder if this is the starting to forget stage yet, everytime theres a major health crisis or something after a few months it gradually disappears from the publics consciousness and people start to forget it ever even happened.
Let's hope so, but with lessons learned. Much like when this all began back in March, it was my friend who dealt with the SARS outbreak back in '03 reminded me of what they had to do then. I had to jog my memory when they mentioned it, but recalled the pictures of people walking around with face masks, notably downtown, on the news.

I’ve learned that people in general suck ass and deserve any spike in cases they get now. I am fed up with the wishy washy bs all over.

I've learnt that Corona is a goddess who must be placated in order not to catch it. Not mocking the people of India, but some do have a certain... tendency... like a sister of a friend once visited and they were telling her she was the incarnation of the Virgin Mary. Well, all peoples have their superstitions I suppose...
