I’m sure a banana tree in the desert will be more manageable then a banana tree in the bitter cold northeast. Good luck!
I was watching a youtube video and supposedly they grow in tropical climates. I can see a greenhouse being useful.

But yeah, that would be an awesome food source to cultivate.

I’m happy that my seemingly random comment sent you on a mission of exploration!

Are you a bot Lisa?!
This thread has taken an interesting spin.

And to stay the course of this thread. @justjess you got me into wanting to grow a banana tree. Sucks that I live in a desert.
Haha...no, I’m actually a living breathing woman...I would call this a stupid spin...

I just told you... I found an old comment on a blog that was trashing VC and the posters on VC, spoiler alert: it was you.

I found it really strange... I don’t remember you being there. Certainly not prominent enough to have an opinion on the named members. When some of them pop up here you don’t give any hint that you know them. Yet, it was unmistakably you. Used your own name and everything
Let’s see the comment...I don’t know what you are talking about. I have a very common name...well, when I was born it was very common...I went to school with at least 5 Lisa’s.

It was a different option regarding food that I’ve never really thought off.

And say even in a non shtf type of thing. Not many places outside of bigger corporations offer bananas. They are a profitable food source, nutritious at that.

As long as you don’t have the last name Anderson or Lee. Then you’d strike me as a news reporter.

“And now Action 5 news with your host, Lisa Lee”

No Lisa. It was definately you. Same old banging on about the Bible and other nonsense like a broken record. No mistake about it.

I don’t think vigilant would appreciate me linking that blog so I’m not going to.

I’m sure..if this is funny...why’s it funny to you?
It’s funny because it’s an answer that someone in grade school might give. The US of A is basically a corporatocracy, or better known as corporate capitalism. Here’s a definition of it here (yeah, it’s Wikipedia, but it gives a rather good explanation):

If you watch and listen to this video here, https://www.bitchute.com/video/CIpSOtpr8UUF/, at approximately 38:00 minutes, Del Bigtree says that there are currently 16 vaccines on the adult schedule, according to the CDC, with 270 in the approval stage. If all these vaccines become mandated, the vaccine industry will go from a $50 billion dollar industry to a trillion dollar industry. Therefore, if they force 340 million Americans with this mandate, the rest of the world will follow. That means that despite what any doctor recommends if one has underlying health issues, or whatever religion you practice, Pfizer, Merck and etc., will have the FINAL say on what will go into EVERYONE’S body.

Compounded with the upcoming November US election and the current contentiousness around it, Trump, by default, may just be the president for a second term. If so, I’m sure his presidency be under a lot of pressure to mandate these vaccines by these pharmaceutical corporations, and I assure you, the world will be watching.

Then any president will be under the same pressures...but I’m sure biden wouldn’t really mind okaying those things, honestly.

Capitalism benefits everyone..hence why everyone is dying to come to America...they want the chance to make it big in the only country you can do that in.

You say the world will be watching Trump and the vaccine thing, but I do not think the world has a clue what is up on the whole. Some of us may be watching but others will remain in their sleep. As for watching, I am always doing that no matter the person, entity, etc. It is possible that Trump will sell out to big pharma and Gates, but it would it not be likely no matter who was in office?

I assure you, no one is dying to live in the US, especially now. In fact, my cousin, who lived there for decades, has decided to move back here when all this Corona virus nonsense started back in April. He didn't like where the US (California) was heading so he's now living with one of my aunt's here in Canada.

But you do, and have the last word on this...

No they aren’t..they are being welcomed into Europe
You really don’t turn off Fox News do you?

people fleeing a bad situation are going to go to the closest place geographically. Do you know how many try to pass through us to get to Canada? Those are some smart refugees.

Exactly, which is why I think it is completely nonsensical to discuss partisan politics on here. The electoral system DOES NOT work for the average citizen. It hasn't for decades, as the candidates only appease their citizens with words/propaganda and the agenda remains the same. While there may be subtle differences and perhaps at other levels at gov't, federally, they're all taking their orders from others behind the scene.

Not to mention that Gates is basically the frontman for the Rockefeller's/Rothschild's.
