I don't think I've ever seen people so emotionally charged.
9/11 didn't even provide as many strawmen to attack. My comments aren't about anyone specifically, I'm just saying I see it everywhere. Everyone is primed to attack the nearest strawman. The point is, people en masse are valuing emotional arguments over any other kind.
Emotional arguments happen. I get that, there's nothing wrong it in and of itself. It just seems like human civilization is stuck in an emotional limbo. Like who knows what happened to the rationalists of the world. Maybe they are on vacation or something, but it seems like they got absorbed into postmodernism.
