As a long time fan of the great rapper, throughout my investigations, i've come across some clues that he might've sold his soul for gold when he signed to Death Row (bars). Just compare 2pacolyplse Now to All Eyez On Me. Tupac always kept it real, no matter what, but there are a couple of lines in his first album that some would consider hypocrisy. "The grammys and American music shows pimp us like hoes"-Well, he was at the 1996 grammys. "The American dream, though it seems like its attainable they pulling your sleeve, don't believe cause it'll strangle ya"-Well he was living the american dream, and in a way, foreshadowed his death. So, I wanna know what everyone else thinks. Could 2pac have sold his soul? And any other pieces of evidence can help me come to my conclusion.

Update:I did some more digging, and I found out that 2pac didnt believe in the illuminati and he just wanted to kill the idea of it because it breaks confidence. That's great thinking but if any artist speaks on that i dont think they are a part of it...or they are but dont know. Also, a death row producer on youtube said that 2pac was a blood, but this is sorta debunked by his song "Krazy"

HUGE UPDATE: 2PAC WAS PLANNING ON STARTING A POLITICAL PARTY FOR POOR PEOPLE AND HE WAS MAKING AN ALBUM CALLED ONE NATION WHICH WOULD UNITE EAST AND WEST COAST ARTISTS.
I WISH I SITED MY SOURCES MORE UHH JUST LOOK IT UP

Think it's pretty obvious he did. Just look at the pictures of him the night he was gunned down. He's hanging out with Suge Knight, an ex football player who at that point had gone completely gangster. And Tupac looks scared. Hmmm wonder why?

I think Tupac was trying to get the money he was owed from Death Row and than bounce. And at that point his usefulness to Suge Knight had run out.

Pac was always a quagmire. Songs about being hood and heartfelt message songs too.
I felt he knew what was going on. Not necessarily details. But it wasn't good. He had some forthought into what could happen because of all the music he banked up before his death.
Although Suge was connected and coulda had Pac hit. I think it goes beyond. I feel both he and Biggies hits were setup a bit higher. The man may have feared the power that these two rappers may have had to unite the urban world.

I think he was a threat. "Killuminati"? Yeah, he was against them. His whole family were Black Panthers, raging against the machine. I think he thought he could skate on by without paying the price. I know Quincy Jones solicited him & he said no. If he were truly with it, he would have done what he needed to, to make it ahead. He didn't need the celebrity machine behind him. He was charismatic and yet common enough to reach numerous of ppl with his words, spirit and energy.

I do think he knew his time was limited. He knew they were coming for him, as do most celebs who are killed.

I think if Suge could have worked out another 20 albums out of Pac, he would have. I do think their relationship was starting to strain, however.

The way I see it is, Tupac had a genuine cause, and embraced his heart fully in order for him to speak about the struggle his people were facing by the authoritarians that would pick on anyone with a darker skin shade, and throw them in a cold cell somewhere for just looking suspicious. However, I do believe the feuds he had with other rappers were manufactured to entice 2PAC into going into defensive mode to de-rail his initial cause of exposing the injustice by the main perpetrators the authority, to talking negative about fellow rappers, and exposing them, and who they ''ride'' with. So that transcended into conflict within the African population in America which were deemed a threat by the authority, which resulted in the communities being divided, and deceived to get their own back on their own people which literally carved up neighbourhoods to no go areas, depending where you live, and which idol you represent. I feel 2pac was assassinated by well trained and organised assassins to cause internal conflict within certain African majority areas that were deemed a threat to statue quo and order.

Maybe. But I think if you study the history of Death Row records at that time. Things were starting to crumble, and Tupac was a smart guy. I believe he wanted out, and he wasn't alone. To take that further at the end of the road for Death Row the label not only had 0 money. They were negative money. By a lot.

Sounds like Suge was running a Ponzi scheme. I do think Pac was becoming aware of the financial problems. I'm sure his checks were short & Suge probably tried to lie his way out of it.
What we need to look at was who benefited from his death. Follow the money. Then we'll have our answers.

Example. Puff and Jay-Z greatly benefited from Biggies death. There are no other truly truly successful NY rappers. A lot still are working, but only Jay and Puff really are true moguls. I wouldn't necessarily call Puff a rapper, per se, but it was his title at one time, briefly.

Well none of the rap moguls benefited in the long run. They just got in on the ground floor, when the scene was blowing up. There's plenty of room for more rap moguls, but nobody else can emulate what some of them did at that time.

Except for Nas, Fiddy, Rakim, Method Man, Run-D.M.C., LL Cool J, Chuck D and probably a dozen others. I know these guys aren't moguls, but I would characterize each one of them as truly, truly successful. Heck, I'd even throw Busta and Q-Tip in there. ;)
Yes, they'd made their mark. However, none are on the professional "Forbes" level of Jay or Puff.

I believe Puff sacrificed Biggie to become one of the elite's. As Jay Z did it to his nephew. As Suge did it to Pac, and as Kanye did his mom.

When Pac went to jail for the r*pe charge he spent all his money on lawyers and everything so he was broke all while having the #1 record while he's jail. He had no choice to sign with deathrow and suge knight. When he released All eyes on me I remember him saying (in an interview) he's just doing this record just for the mainstream appeal but he had a plan tho. He basically dumb downed his music so everyone and anyone could relate to his words and what he was speakin'. His plan was to preach knowledge and what the government is really doing to all Americans. But the government didn't want to see another black messiah rise from the ghettos (like what they did to bob marley) and destroy everything they did (see cointelpro).

PAC was an amazing man who would have done amazing things had his life not been ended so prematurely..

But PAC was also a blood. PAC was also a criminal. PAC was also a flawed human being.

My opinion they saw him start maturing talking about real things like political parties and moving away from the gang banging shit and ended him swiftly.

Actually, THAT^ is not only a lie that 2pac told about himself, but it's one of the biggest misconception about 2pac.

Watch the documentary, Tupac Resurrection, in its entire. 2pac's own drama teacher confirmed the fact that 2pac was fully aware of the Illuminati [the May 1776 original] as well as occult symbolism from reading the books from his drama teacher's home library.

I personally think those in control of the Music Industry kill off any musicians if they begin to promote unity, love, for speaking out against them or simply to keep them silent from what they already knew. Then just to add fuel to the fire, they make money off of their deaths.

More recently though it seems they'd rather ruin the persons life and force them into depression and suicide to save themselves the hassle, but when that is the case, it could be another setup, so who really knows?
