If you can't pay your rent you should be allowed to go back to work, period.

When there are mass evictions and all those people crowd into some shelter, then get the virus. Those potential deaths are on the stay home crowd.
If you can’t pay your rent due to government orders then you should be able to collect 1) unemployment or 2) rent relief - this should be a priority. Not corporate bail outs. There are a lot of people still falling through the cracks of the relief programs that have been implemented. That needs to addressed and fixed.

But saying they should be able to “go back to work” isn’t the most honest argument either. There are still plenty of places hiring despite shut down orders. If I needed to, if I “fell through the cracks,” I’d be applying at those places aggressively.

Even Californians want out of the quarantine...

Anti-lockdown protests gather momentum as armed demonstrators waving Trump 2020 flags call for America to open NOW while Facebook REMOVES anti-quarantine posts and is accused of 'working with state governments to limit free speech'
  • In North Dakota, upset protesters swarmed the capitol building while carrying 'Don't Tread on Me' flags
  • In Ohio, a local militia group brandishing firearms and wearing face coverings gathered in Columbus Monday
  • In Pennsylvania, protesters gathered to fight stay-at-home orders outside the Capital Complex in Harrisburg
  • In California protesters jammed roads while honking and holding out signs while others disrespected social distancing rules by gathering in close proximity, blaring music and shouting to end the lockdown
  • Facebook faced backlash for reportedly colluding with state governments to stop anti-lockdown protests

I've heard a rent relief bill is in the works. I just doubt it will get through.

Also, I'm not very familiar with how much unemployment pays per month. But I doubt it will cover the average monthly rent payment. The same goes for any temporary job. If a person was a manager or higher position they can't go make up that income by getting a cashier job.

Unless you made over $1175/ week unemployment is currently covering more than or the entirety of your previous paycheck - in most states. I think the lowest amount of the states would be $875 (you’d have to make more than 875/week before you’d be losing out with unemployment right now). So yeah some people are going to lose out but not most. Especially considering you don’t owe fica on ue, so really it probably accounts for people who even make slightly more then that - like $1300/week in actual dollars.

The people who are going to really fall through the cracks are those at the bottom - who get paid off the books. They need rent relief. They don’t need to go risk their lives, it’s a false equivalence.

Istanbul Death Toll Hints Turkey Is Hiding a Wider Coronavirus Calamity
Istanbul recorded 2,100 more deaths over recent years between March and April, The Times found, suggesting a hidden toll.
Istanbul. Population: 15.52 million. New people always come to the city from other cities and Arab countries. Only 2000 extra deaths. And Turkey is hiding something. Pure psyop.

To send a message that play time is over and we dont tolerate white supremacist paramilitaries with ties to prison gangs playing army with arsenals in the woods or mountains in this country anymore.
What if these people are simply wanting to go back to work?

You can say you want to go back to work without waving around ar15’s
Didn’t you think standing in the street indicated a protest wasn’t peaceful?
Sure..but maybe this is to say they’re serious? Idk, I’m not them.

No, I thought standing in the street in front of protesters wasn’t peaceful..it was passive/aggressive.

The Ohio Militia is not interested in that. They are terrorists who are trying to agitate the current situation so they can achieve their decades long wished for race war, ok?
I think they could have done something to push a race war if that’s what they really wanted a long time ago.

“People waved Trump 2020 flags and held signs that read 'Open Ohio' as they implored lawmakers to loosen restrictions.“

Doesn‘t talk about a race war..just loosen restrictions.

And waving around a gun is peaceful how? That’s AGGRESSIVE. Much bigger problem then passive aggressive - the passive part indicating peaceful to begin with

You aren’t trying to be peaceful getting in people’s faces..is all I’m saying...especially when people are upset.

Were they waving around guns? They looked like they were being responsible with them..probably had their permits....

In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID–19 cannot be made, but it is suspected or likely (e.g., the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty), it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate as “probable” or “presumed.” In these instances, certifiers should use their best clinical judgement in determining if a COVID–19 infection was likely. However, please note that testing for COVID–19 should be conducted whenever possible.

NO TESTING!

Makes you wonder when FB is involved in keeping folks under "quarantine" eh? I mean, they do have a good reputation when it comes to being transparent and not manipulating folks' behavior and data right? :-D

Nurses and doctors standing in front of vehicles in a traffic jam intentionally caused by protesters = aggressive

Men in full tactical gear brandishing high powered weapons = peaceful protests

right

do you actually believe in the things you type or do you just try and irritate people?
Did the men threaten anyone? I think they brought their guns because they have the right to bear arms...but I didn‘t see the news report they threatened anyone with them. I would have left the guns at home myself..but its their right to bear arms.
