You have consistently insisted that people only have financial problems because of personal flaws and denied that situations outside their control could have contributed or caused them.
You have consistently argued against providing a safety net or assistance to poor people because “hand outs” and “dependency”
You have argues against higher wages, against universal health care, against homeless shelters and sop kitchens, against pretty much anything anyone has ever proposed to help the poor.
So, no. I didn’t get it wrong Lisa. The only reason you are even pretending to give a hoot now is because the poverty many people experience on a daily basis is starting to trickle upwards and effect people that you’ve decided are worthy.
Can people have financial problems because of personal flaws..yep..I think its the leading cause of financial problems...some people the other hand would like to believe financial problems occur randomly.
I’m not opposed to getting people on their feet again..but I am opposed to helping financially and making people dependent...people do better when they are independent...its better for self esteem.
Yep, I have said that higher wages will be counteracted in less hours..that does happen. I don’t remember ever saying anything about universal healthcare. Homeless shelters just perpetuate a problem along with soup kitchens. All the thing proposed to help the homeless, not the poor...lets get the terminology straight...haven’t really helped them..they are still homeless and there are more of them.
Yep, you still get it wrong.
I thought from the beginning of this that the people out of work was going to be a problem for them..that maybe they weren’t thinking ahead to how they were going to make it if they have no job.
