The giant rats have migrated (upgraded?) from The Star to The Sun, to indulge in a bit of schadenfreude and public shaming.

You would obviously know better than I would, but is this really happening in the UK, noting this is a Sun article? That said, I always found it's good rule of practice to put things into sealed containers once they've been opened, or in the fridge.

Now you know what you've been saving all those plastic containers for and that Pinterest pins can come in handy. :)

It only works with objectivity. The last time I checked, some posters always have an individual in their crosshairs be it a politician or a board member and show an inability to get past differences in a crisis. The truth of the matter is some people stalk others, religions and whatever they deem wrong for their take in their mind is the Gospel with no wiggle room.

These people who think they have it all figured out actually squelch more conversations than they add to them in their need to bait and cause discourse from their insecurities. Some people are just angry by nature and feel a need to conk people over the head as being stupid for their arguments generally cannot remain nontoxic, maintain common rationale or stand on their own without going full wrestling like smack talk. Wanting all to believe as they do shows classic signs of mental illness where one cannot handle that we are all not the same. The short version is that nobody here needs a poster to tell them who lies and such for we all are using gray matter and can think for ourselves.

Opening up with a *mute (*this should read moot, thanks TZ) point isn't a good start.

The politicians you are standing behind are one of the biggest reasons for the crisis......they are all owned, as you've stated yourself.

Ohhh good grief man you have been Trumps online minder on this forum for as long as I've been here so at the minute, with him doing more u turns than a convoy in a cul-de-sac you have as much wiggle room as a Dalek in a telephone box. Let's keep it real.

...I sense anger in your general demeanor now. I can see you sitting there amongst snapped pens an stuff.

....I have recently learned a very valuable technique of face tapping that helps with stress at times like these. I'm happy to offer an olive branch in these difficult times and send you a link...if you think it will help?

I don't know that I know better than anyone else.
I see the tabloids as more 'the mood of the nation' indicators rather than actual truth.

The current mood of the nation seems to be a delight in 1984 style grassing the neighbours for 'endangering the heroic NHS by their selfishness' (ie. doing anything you don't want them to do), and public shaming them.
I think its national scapegoat your neighbours week.

Some of the 'stockpiled food that was binned' photos seemed fake. One bin was full of unopened tins. Seemed very unlikely to me.

I don't know anyone who stockpiled. just people who were sensible and bought a bit extra.

A- Come on man, the correct phrase is moot point (not mute). A moot point can be either an issue open for debate, or a matter of no practical value or importance because it's hypothetical. The latter is more common in modern English. The one problem here is you assume to know how I think and who I back. You paint a mental picture that is inaccurate, accusatory, etc while trying to get others to back you up. You came after me (again) in this thread. You have mentioned when I set my setting to private and admit scouring through my posts. You even tried to bring some comments here from another thread and when I made a post which resonated with members, well, you go off saying I am on some white horse, etc for you have real issues with me contributing. You did so again in this very thread. That is stalking and it is unhealthy. It is an obsession. I am your kryptonite.

I am as calm as a gentle breeze on the ocean as I type and I am actually multitasking online. I have told you 5000 times now that it is not about support for Trump, but shining the light on so many people looking to blame one man. A single man for all life's problems. Show me one thing I obsess on as you do Trump, religion, myself or the latest person you try to admonish.

It may be worthwhile researching the above documents in light of watching this.

Hrmmm, a bit like the drills that were happening on September 11. I've read there were also drills happening at some of the school shootings in the US too.

I agree with you to an extent. However, seeing that we're on the VC forums that dissects and deconstructs media and popular culture, I think it get's tiring for some to read posts that are constantly parroting what is seen or viewed on MSM without any level of discernment. That might be where the frustration lies as we're here on the Internet, able to gain access to what's not on television, however, it's being quoted as if it's authentic information.

To be objective is to weigh the factors, pros and cons, in what's been said or stated. I think it's becoming clearer, with each passing day, that there are organizations that are in cahoots with governments, who DO NOT have the best interests of citizens as a whole. Personally, I think we are ALL meant to be contributing members of society, not to be confined to our homes, lining up to buy food and being guilty until proven innocent because we all may be "carriers" of a virus, which no more deadlier than the flu.

To see things personally is an individual's choice and a myopic one because this Coronavirus "crisis" isn't about an individual's ego, it's about questioning why things are currently they way they are.

Well I do declare, just kidding........:)
For what it is worth @The Zone I do think most people who make it in politics are either deceptive or highly controlled to the point of little movement. I sport equal opportunity dislike of most politicians and sympathy for the well meaning ones.:)
Second, most of them work within the system and the system is rigged and if they can not get you through blackmail, and bribery . They the Zionist overlords will get you through murder.
Bernie Sanders acquiesces to the party line (Schumer)to keep his seat and Trump will let the overlords get their cake Jerusalem.
Sometimes people get taken in by half solutions and half solutions lead to false hope.
Even in the world of Islam we had well meaning activists called the Muslim Brotherhood who thought they could vote in our system using their system..
You can not use their systems to oppose their systems. You need to create as Chris Hedges puts it centrifugal forces outside their systems.

Everybody just needs to give it a rest. Myself included. If we can not get a long with a specific poster we should just ignore said poster right now (I’m trying to take that advice myself).

Unfortunately, The Sun is right. Well, partially!

People have been stockpiling and throwing out of date goods away but not everywhere and no where near the amount the tabloids are stating.

In my end of London, there hasn't been an epidemic of food waste...in fact, I think most people stockpiled things which would last such as pasta, oil, rice etc...

Also outside london and other busy cities, people aren't panic buying and there are no issues with queues and limitations on what people can purchase.

This had been going on for a while and only recently have supermarkets and stores started to ration/limit customers to x2 or x3 per customer. A little too late in my view, I think it should've been limited weeks back...
A lot of vulnerable and elderly people struggled to keep their cupboards and fridge stocked...relying on the kindness of others.

Forget about online shopping. No slots available for the next month or so!

We still have enormous queues for supermarkets but there is food and there are essentials readily available.

I can probably boast the largest ignore list on here, but the interesting thing is while some have said the worst things about Allah and our Prophet I can not hate them. I have cried while in prayers but I will pray for them they are only informed by the media and ignorant haters about us. Ignore is the best feature on here and short-term memory is also a good feature that I have :).
I would tell them be aware about Media using how we appear to inform your reality.

There is no hope for some. I have tried to contribute here in a healthy way but considering the lengths, some will go to, I have requested that all my posting history and username be removed as I will no longer post in the forums. You can cue up the bye Felicia posts now.

Life is too short. It is precious and I am choosing to live it elsewhere. I wish all whom I have had relationships with well in all of life endeavors and that you find the truth.

My ignore list is long too and it's just better to avoid and ignore people who you clash with.

Sure, I clash with some who aren't on my ignore list but not because of their trolling, just a difference of opinion.

If we all left because of troublesome posters there would be no one left!

It could just be your religions history and current actions...

I would not want to be ya!^ Sorry, I couldn't resist. This is not drama, so just let me fly off into the night, LOL It has something to do with doxing attempts. You see, I have friends in other circles (here - updated for Lisa):) I seriously wish all well and I will still read some of VC's stuff. BTW, wish you well Lisa, but I will not miss you:) Just move on with posting people and help one another through some of the most interesting time we will ever witness. PS - Oh gosh, what a troll Lisa! One more thing, you are an embarrassment to real Christians. You have the empathy of a snake.
