Second, a vaccine which is 50 to 100 year old medicine that did not have an accurate view of the immune system is not always the best answer either.

Doesn’t Japan also have a significant elderly population and why haven’t we seen the same or even more numbers of fatalities as in Italy? I suppose that could be chocked up to “….Italy is afflicted by a different strain….” Anyway, China because of its (recently revised) one-child policy, also has pockets of towns or villages that are devoid of juveniles and full of older people. Atleast I would imagine that reports would trickle out that these places are now literal ghost towns.

Japan has the largest elderly population in the world. I personally don't have the answers, but I'd conclude that the Japanese tend to be much healthier than other nations, so for them, they may have had a moderate infection rate but very low death rate.

I also think that they probably took precautions much earlier than Europe and the US which didn't do much until recently.

I have some Japanese students who returned from Japan in early Feb and they told me it was quite bad in dense cities like Tokyo but people were generally okay and received decent health care.

It's important to note that the Japanese havent been testing everyone with symptoms, rather those who need hospital care so their low cases aren't reliable in the slightest and their infection rate could be just as high, if not more, than other countries.

It's also important to remember that Japan is one of the cleanest nations in the world...I mean they go over the top with their hygiene standards so this could have lessened the spread of the virus too, coupled with their generally healthy diet and active lifestyle.

They are also social recluses! Hardly socialise in massive gatherings..

Scenario 1 is that all the auto immune compromised people got together in a big social gathering and transmitted the virus amongst themselves before heading g back to their local communities, going into hospital, then dying.

Scenario 2 is that the virus has been passed on to the auto immune compromised people by asymptomatic carriers who "have no symptoms" that were just carrying on with their normal lives before these restrictions came in. In this instance the majority of the population would be infected in a relatively short period of time as you couldn't differentiate between an infected person or uninfected person unless they had a test.

Which of these scenarios would you consider to be more likely?

Here in the UK we are now having daily announcements from politicians stood behind podiums with the words Save Our NHS Stay At Home.

According to Trump Bojo has been on the phone begging him for ventilators and Trump has got some extra to help us out. .... well fancy that!

I get a feeling our NHS will need saving by the USA soon. Just wait until our health workers start suing their employers for Health and Safety failings through inadequate provisions of PPE.

Then they can make it look like it was greedy employees who cost this country our free NHS.

The Warwick Uni Public Health Professor, Sarah Stewart-Brown reminds me of someone who I'd see in my neighbourhood. Her demeanor is, for lack of better words, so ordinary and normal. Interesting how she states that isolating people for long periods of time actually has a reverse effect on their immune system. I can see that from a mental but also physical perspective. I remember a friend of mine told me a story years ago (when the Japanese Paper Place was located on Queen St.) there was a couple who had a baby and disinfected their entire house with wipes and Lysol - the whole bit, wouldn't let anyone see their baby until they thought it was the right time, and when they did take the baby out for its' first outing, the baby caught a cold and died because their immune system was basically inactive and didn't know how to fight any infections or viruses. What a sad case of irony.

If you do the math each citizen should receive 6000 plus dollars each, but the figure is 1200. Money is being printed at an alarming rate and this will allow for a takeover in all of the world's economies. People are complicit in their own demise by buying 100% into a stay at home mode being neutralized with their thoughts dominated by survival.

People have been flocking together since the dawn of man, so what we are seeing is unnatural in a sense. In a show of power they can allow a virus to spread and aided in it. A gathering of 10 people would be too much if this was truly real in the sense they say it is, but droves of folks are out and about. We would be seeing lots of body bags and tons of sick people in a true pandemic.

While the virus is real they duped people, crashed the economies and gained control over all businesses in the process. Gold is the safest investment left, but they can figure out a way to get all of that as well. So, quit pointing at Trump and Pelosi, for they are not in control. No man or woman has all the power.

They conquered us without firing a shot and changed the world forever. People thought we are riding high and they showed us who is in control. The federal reserve now has an unpayable debt on all citizens which was their design in that it will enslave them in eternal debt and a virus threat can happen at any time henceforth.

Nothing has backed US currency since 70's when precious metals did. The small 1% of the Elite made their power play and we are seeing the destruction of our former lives. The lender is the owner, the borrower is the slave where they can hyperinflate money at any time and take it all, and own it all which makes us all renters in time with no ownership. The goal is for a few to own and control everything including your thoughts.

So, go on thinking this virus is your biggest worry. The one thing which has happened here is that the elite has more power than ever. The power play is in motion. We are being controlled by fear of the virus, how we will get back the lives we had and we are becoming dependent on whatever handouts we will see. The age of Government God is upon us.

I am sorry to be so bleak and do not expect everyone to buy into what I said. But there is tech some of you have not seen. Knowing that makes me realize that a controlled state of things has been being prepped for a good many years. There is no privacy and has not been and there are few places to hide. The silent takeover has been technology and when they unveil some of it, people will think there has been an alien invasion for they will not believe their eyes. There are sophisticated drones that can read facial recognition and whether you will in time have what well will call a mark or pass and they will act as a major part of a police state. They can read your vitals, predict your reaction via advanced algorithms and see any humans through walls or layers of protection. They can zap you right into place or herd you into submission.

After saying that, I need to go lay down with some puppies or something. Imagine going to what you think is your special place in nature only to find out they are watching you contemplate what is happening.

I hope I am wrong. I hope this blows over soon and we are not in the dystopian future overnight. But I think the long term changes are inevitable now and they will start to roll it out on the whole of us. This post is apt to self destruct.
