Thanks. Those articles did paint a different picture than those I had read. If accurate, I can see reason to be against the stimulus. I guess we wait to see what passes.

As a general rule, I'm against bailouts and stimuluses, but when gov't orders cause the need (in part), I need to rethink the issue. Could this be a trial run for UBI?
Idk, could be. But the stingy ass proposals I’m seeing aren’t really gonna cut it and are more aimed at looking like they’re doing something then actually doing something so idk.

Really SSD and SSI are already trial runs of UBI.

I wonder if they think "How far can we push this?". SSD/I could be considered basic but not universal. Take note of where you were when we entered the new abnormal.

It not exists -- I've found no one and no relatives of so called "virused" people.
Symptoms they described were from chemtrails they set in our sckies.
In my country they openly kill elderly by covered it cronavirus.
It's a mixed bag sadly. I've been tracking cough 19 some months. I started paying attention in late December. I don't remember how long at this point-- to be exact.
They have been spraying heavily for at least thirty days and the air has been pretty polluted because of it.
Sick evil shit all around.
This is the End.

Even the liberals I follow on Twitter are disgusted with Schumer and Pelosi’s attempts to get things like this added into the stimulus package. What a tone deaf and appalling display. I’m starting to believe that the goal of the Democratic Party is to make themselves look as villainous as they possibly can.

Meanwhile, in Canada, a similar bill is coming up for a vote, but the bill proposed by the Trudeau government essentially gives them absolute authority to tax and spend as they see fit, with no oversight or parliament vote needed. It makes the present government our legal dictators. It will not pass, this time, but if people get desperate, who knows what sort of laws will get through?

Like I said, the crisis isn’t planned, but the response is always ready to go when the opportunity comes. How do you think the Democrats came up with a 1200-page bill literally overnight? How did the Canadian Liberal party have the powers of a dictatorship all written up, just needing a vote to make them the law of the land? It’s only a matter of time.

I don’t mean that the slush funds that the Democrats are attempting to tack onto the stimulus bill in the US are the same as the attempted dictatorship that my government is trying to sneak by as an “emergency” measure, but the lesson is, during times of crisis, a lot of scary things get passed by people whose very job it is to protect us from scary things.

Social distancing is fine, but I'm not having this lockdown stuff. Not in America anyway.

Idk why the hell we even have a constitution anymore. Nobody follows it, judges don't uphold it or defend it. It's all bullshit but we feed school children these lies about them actually having rights.

Sorry kids. Your parents and teachers won't tell you, they expect you to learn it on your own as they did. The United States Constitution = Toilet Paper

Ohio is not looking good from what a fireman said on a show I watch on Youtube.
They lost 75000 jobs.
The lockdown could go left in Ohio is what the fireman was saying. IDK.

That first story made me cry.

I've seen some fucked up shit on the internet, but that explanation of how it goes down and what the hospital workers are afraid of really got to me.

This is eugenics, this is the wealthy elites trimming off parts of the population they consider "useless". Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick gave the game away, not that it wasn't clear already. They are happy to let elders and vulnerable populations die in order to protect their money and interests:
This system of vampire capitalism is rotten to the core. And I can't help but believe there is truly dark spiritual forces behind so much of this.

A doctor in a TV interview yesterday gave an interesting insight on the virus-
Interviewer- "We're told that 2 metres is a reasonable 'social distancing' distance to stay away from other people, but is 2 metres far enough?"
Doctor- "Well, the further the better of course, but when the virus leaves a carrier after being exhaled in their breath or by a cough or sneeze, it tends to drop towards the ground, so 2 metres will usually be out of range"

Does nobody else get that familiar stench of problem, reaction, solution?

Problem

Reaction

Solution

It's just that I've been watching the msn coverage of this and now they are planting seeds around curfews, on the spot fines, vaccines (that will be developed any time now I'm sure ) and phone apps that say you are clear of the virus.

The social engineering industry is booming at this time.

If we took precautions in the first place a lot of business could’ve been saved. Sure a decrease in customers but the sane ones seem to understand and know their role.

It’s all common sense. This virus like any has the potential to be lethal. The scary thing is the ease of contagious-ness.

Now if we followed that simple guideline in covering coughs, sneezes, etc. Why should we panic?
Who said anything about panic? Infact, taking it as something more than a virus is what im seeing people panic about. Honestly, the best precaution was staying indoors but what can you do, people don't listen.

Incidentally we hear of people voluntarily getting themselves tested for the virus even though they're not showing any symptoms, but why do they bother getting tested? If the test shows they're carrying the virus what are they supposed to do then?

Governor Cuomo has been an amazing leader throughout this. I watch him every day. Matter of fact and honest, thank god.
I really had no love for Cuomo before this outbreak, but in comparison he is 100 times the leader of our joke of a president.
If the DNC somehow made him their candidate it might possibly motivate me to actually vote In the presidential election, just so I don’t need to hear and see Trump for another 4 years.

Haha I've noticed more boating activity than usual around the uninhabited Drakes Island in Plymouth Sound this past few days, I suppose some people are going there with camping gear to self-isolate.. :)
Here's a pic of the island (circled) which I took 15 minutes ago from the Marine Lab webcam a mile from where I live.

And this is the unmanned Eddystone Lighthouse 14 miles from Plymouth, I wouldn't be surprised if some isolaters are heading out there too..

Self- quarantine and see if they start to show symptoms, then they go to the hospital.

No the best precautions would have been a Government who had SOME type of contingency plans in place for an event such as this.

Or are you going to try and convince me that in today's day and age, with crazy terrorists running around everywhere making a bio weapon attack a very real possibility that the emergency planning dept of our governments didn't have the foresight to have enough face masks or PPE available even to protect the medical staff trying to deal with it?

It's not like a highly contagious virus is a new concept, it's happened before. Due you not think our governments have a duty of care to conduct due diligence when risk assessing potential events?

Before you can start blaming the public for this virus spreading you may want to question why the British Government as well as the American Government were allowing mass gatherings and business as normal up until last week. It appears to me that if they would have been proactive instead of reactive then maybe we wouldn't all be in the shit we are in now.

Don't blame the public for panic buying, it was a natural human reaction to the media storylines about food shortages. If it wouldn't have been in the news people wouldn't have started panicking and rushing out to buy all the toilet roll.

When I make the statement that people are stupid I'm referring to their blind faith in a government who are always the first to cover their own ineptitude by blaming the public.
