Have to share this. My neighbor just gave me some toilet paper and that's just an example of how people can be generous to one another. Seriously, my heart is warmed. Such a simple act of kindness and like, wow, I could almost cry.
Tonight I went to the grocery store to get coffee creamer for my mom (she likes having it in bulk because she goes through it quick). Only 2 things of it were left in the big containers. I looked around. No toilet paper, no napkins almost, no paper towels, no ground beef, no chicken, just steaks and veal? Kinda was looking for pork chops. Those were gone, too. Almost no eggs, no milk, and frozen vegetables were even really picked over. Everyone out there is panic buying. Dad asked for me to get him toilet paper if I saw it. Ha ha ha. He missed it at Costco (those ahead of him got it all) and at Walmart. Yet he got me eggs and meat.
May be working from home soon yet I want to go in as long as possible. I want some sense of normalcy and routine.
Just had to share.
