Just the facts ma'am. I'll keep saying them until something changes. I wish I bookmarked the study about income inequality and demographics. Homogenuous countries respond to income inequality with government solutions. Heterogenuous countries respond by retreating even further into free markets.

I’ve read that study. You aren’t wrong. But I can’t help but wonder how much of that is really based on homogeneity vs heterogeneity and how much is based on a rugged individualistic “pull yourself up by your boot straps” culture - like if we toon the diversity issue out of it, how much difference would remain based on that alone.

Obama is clearly flexing for Biden.

Obama also said he would "step in" to stop Sanders from becoming the nominee. Why? I'm not really sure. But it's all pretty damn predictable when you think about it enough.

Bottom line though, it seems like Biden has a lot of ghosts in his closet. And they scare people. But they don't scare me at all. Show me a ghost and I'll chase into whatever hell it came from, and purify its ass. Amen

I've read over Biden's campaign page a little more closely because of the results and it sucks in comparison to Sanders. It is the standard political crap with a lot of plans to "expand" things. So basically nothing will get done for four years is what I'm thinking. Nothing ever expands whenever a politician uses this word. "Expand" is like the first word they teach you to use in a political neurolinguistic programming course or something.

On the brighter side, Missouri, Michigan, and even Mississippi have more combined democratic votes and if this were a race against Trump, all three states would be blue. I would rather have nothing get done than another 4 years of Trump.

I dont actually care what Bernie says, he is wrong on a number of things.

First of all he calls himself a "Democratic socialist" He isn't a democratic socialist, he is a social democrat which is a Capitalist.

The US and other imperialist nations attempted to overthrow all of those nations, and they did indeed overthrow Libya, and eventually toppled the USSR.

"Authoritarian" Well yes you need to have some form of authoritarianism when you have powerful hostile nations trying to overthrow and infiltrate your nation. Any country in the world would enforce various levels of authoritarianism in such a situation.

The United States enforces authoritarian legislation (Patriot Act) when it doesn't even have legitimate enemies.

Biden is an easy lay up for Trump to hit. This was all staged from the get go. The Trump team even knew Biden would be the candidate before Biden even jumped into the race, and that is why they went digging in Ukraine.

I expect Trump to hit Biden hard on the Ukraine stuff along with other gems probably waiting to be unfolded in the general election. Trump will once again pretend to be "anti-establishment" and paint Biden as the "crooked and corrupt elite" How he will be able to get away with such an outrageous example of Pot calling the Kettle black just shows how stupid Republican voters are, and the fact that Democratic voters are going for a male version of Hillary Clinton who literally has dementia shows how stupid they are.

The world is in a really messed up place unfortunately, we are in for some very dark dark times. Nothing really to be positive about.

I really thought Bernie would win this thing, the Populists on the Left have been completely smashed by the Powers that Be. 2 crushing defeats in Jeremy Corbyn in the UK and Bernie Sanders in the USA.

Its fake right wing "populism" that the elites are clearly trying to build up and protect, and this is a worldwide phenomenon.

I predicted this far right wing psuedo "populist" takeover 7 years ago when I finally stopped listening to Alex Jones, and saw him for what he was.

The Republican party, with 2 different wings. One more progressive wing which panders to minorities and progressives, while the conservative wing of the Republican party panders to whites and conservatives.

Just out of curiosity, if the fix was in years ago, and you knew so much about it that you quit listening to Alex Jones, then what would make you think that Bernie would “win this thing”?

I didn't think Bernie would win, but I probably bought into some of the social media hype.

Also, we have seen the populist type campaigns install progressive politicians before. So populism isn't the enemy, maybe the right-wing just does it better, like their messages are simpler.

True progressive candidates need to have broad appeal too. They pretty much need to be smart and super likable. I remember Bernie describing himself as "old fashioned". Which is great, but old fashioned is not relatable anymore.

Wrong on the facts per usual. The USSR was a totalitarian regime that kept people in line through strong central power. You saw how quickly different groups of people went after each other when it fell.

Libya is 97% percent muslim. Most people there look the same, most people are Berbers with some Turk mixed in. Compare those minor differences to the insane amount of heterogeneity in America.

Tribalism is apart of human nature. It's an evolved trait. Nature>nurture and you're trying to beat nature.
