So far...no one seems to be able to prove anything against him and they’ve tried..so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
You can never prove anything against actual criminals. But with that said plenty has been proved. He has just successfully managed to convince people SO WHAT.

He isn’t advocating or arguing for everyone to be poor. He is advocating and arguing for the poor to have a better standard of life. Please go read the definition of hypocrite
Right..he’s advocating that everyone be equally poor..because people aren’t going to equally rich or well off.

What was proved...and if it was proved..surely they could have convicted him of something rather than using bias and party politics...

No Lisa. He’s not. But A for effort in obfuscation.
Its not obfuscation..that’s what happens when you have true socialism...you run out of everyone else’s money and we are all equally poor, hungry and angry that socialism doesn’t work. Anyone from Venezuela here?

Lololololololol... please go crawl back under the bridge from which you came. The adults are talking.
They didn’t get a conviction like they wanted only party politics and the other party overturned it and the FBI found nothing to convict him of either..so, I’m not sure where your proof is, honestly.

He isn’t running on a platform of true socialism. He’s running as a democratic socialist for the unpteenth million time. None of his proposal are “true socialism” in nature.

Mueller specifically stated you can not indict a sitting president as per justice department policy. The impeachment found plenty of shit that it got to the point where trumps lawyers themselves argued, yes he did it so what. The republicans 1 many of them - said yes he did it but we don’t think it’s removable. So what are you even talking about?

Every single person around him has been found guilty of felonies and many are in prison. Tell me again how criminals work? How about criminal organizations? And remember before you open your mouth I am MARRIED to a predicate felon, spent every weekend for 12 years in maximum security prisons, and am Sicilian - my grandfather was murdered, my uncle was a capo. So go ahead and tell me YOU know criminals and how they work better than I do. I dare you.

At least we know where you get your little capo attitude...haha.

Sorry about your grandfather.

If they did have proof..they could have got him on something but they didn’t, if there was actual proof..then we wouldn’t be having this convo.

Do you even know what a capo is?

You have an utter lack of understanding about literally everything. A sitting president can not be indicted. He was charged with high crimes and misdeamenors in the impeachment but the only end to that is a vote to remove or not in a house controlled by his party with a whole bunch of republican senators admitting he did it and then trying to argue it wasn’t removable despite quite literally being among the things the founders wrote in an impeachment process to allow removal for.

It’s really not even worth arguing about at this point, it’s over. But don’t confuse the fact he’s still got his office with being the same thing as innocence. It is not.

And just to give you some insight into criminals.. the top dog always maintains plausible deniability and never gets caught with his hand on the bag so to speak. That’s what they have underlings for. And all of trumps underlings are sitting in jail. DO the math.

WASHINGTON – Sen. Bernie Sanders drew the ire of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and its supporters after he announced he would not attend the lobbying group's annual conference because he said the organization gives a platform for "bigotry."

Long term member of congress is more the reason for the wealth..but besides that, why would good ol Bern need any wealth? Why hasn’t he just given it away to be like the regular people he’s talking for? That is something I don’t really understand really. No one should have more than the other..he makes the rules...seems like he’s had an unfair advantage all these years..and now he wants to take that away so others can’t get it...at least that’s what its really going to come down to, whether his supporters want to believe that or not.

I can disagree with how he made his fortune too...
the problem with what you are saying is that you are not making any argument opposing an example of his politics. It really just sounds like you are complaining about some sound bite you heard.

I know socialism is thrown around in relation to sanders a lot. However, what you describe is not an example of socialism. Sanders giving what he has away is not the same thing as social ownership. So you are not really giving a legitimate example of how society would deteriorate economically if we elected sanders or what the economy would even look like.

You are basically saying that sanders suggests people should be more generous and give more of what they have away down to the bare essentials and he is not following his own advice. That is what you appear to be complaining about.

I have heard that sanders supports raising taxes on large corporations and higher tax brackets. Is that what you are referencing? do you believe this is an example of socialism and why?

there are reasons that I disagree with raising taxes as a solution to the issues present in our economy but this is because I feel like taxes create economic limitations. However, I think you are confusing things if you are making an association between taxes and socialism.

the problems that result from raising taxes are similar to the problems that result in getting loans. It creates a sort of debt that we all pay with each paycheck. It is like where it says the borrower is slave to the lender. That is what happens and why I don’t support raising taxes as a solution.

however, socialism and communism require something of a revolution and a completely different foundation that takes the place of our current government and implements a system of social ownership.

basically, sanders would have to have some type of military to be any sort of a real threat towards making our country socialist. like I said, I haven’t been following things. I don’t know if he supports socialist ideals, but I don’t think he has an army that could lead a revolution.

at most, unless something were to happen to change the way we structure our presidential terms, if sanders won, he would get four to eight years which is basically just enough time to possibly raise taxes and then someone else would take his place.

this is why congress should also have term limits that limit their power. Who knows whether that crew has set us up for a real change in the current process. At the moment, presidential term limits protect us from getting a dictator so there is a lot more hype during a presidential election year than anything else.

Overall, you seem to be confusing things and presenting something that isn’t an objective argument. I’m not even a supporter of socialism either.

Both Russia and now most recently India want Trump to be re-elected. What do you say on this?

On ABC news, Russia and now India were basically cheering for Trump to be re-elected, they both have said "Yeah, he's a great president!" What in the world? Honestly, with India, I feel like this only happened because Trump seduced them with kindness during his trip to India. I don't know how Russia happened. (Russia arouses suspicion for me, and I don't know why..?)

So basically, he more than likely has a plan to woo different countries into encouraging us to vote (excluding me, I'm a minor) for Trump. What's your opinion on this?

I’m not saying that anyone needs to give away anything. What I am saying is that if sanders wants to be known as one of us..meaning working class Americans..he should give away his millions and cut his salary down to us poorer people he’s supposedly talking to and identifying with. If he means what he says about people being equal anyway. You can’t have more than the rest if you’re gonna preach equality is how I see it.

I think he’s trying to win an office with an us vs them mentality...why get upset that some people have more wealth than you? Why get people thinking that if the rich..not millionaires..but the billionaires get taxed more heavily that that’s somehow gonna make us all equal? What is the point of that? Who will be the job creators then..the people crying about equality..wanting their equal share when they didn’t do anything to create jobs in the first place? My husband owns a business and I see the hardship of that side of things and I’ve also worked in my life..so I also see how a person wants to make more..its not an easy fix and to say some should make less so others can make more is foolishness. It’s not going to work like that.

Wasn’t Bernie talking about some sort of violence earlier in the campaign..I think Thunderian started a thread about it. And he doesn’t think Cuba’s violent overthrow that bad..its better than we think over there is his thing. I even posted a video about what he thinks about it all in this thread yesterday.

Sure..its always someone coming in and doing all they can for their policies. When trump’s gone..the will to get things done will likely be gone too...there aren’t any republicans to replace him unless his sons run..so that means that it will be politics as usual and democrats can get back into changing things like Obama tried doing. And I think the presidential candidates underestimate or oversell to win how hard it is to get their campaign promises done when they get elected especially if they don’t win both the house and the senate. And even that is no guarantee if you’re a republican candidate like George W who had both and still couldn’t get anything accomplished...

Wonder if this will work?

Bernie Sanders’ nomination could drag down vulnerable House Democrats trying to hold onto their competitive districts, according to a new poll conducted for Mike Bloomberg's campaign that is circulating among members — providing fresh data for moderates warning about a wipeout if Sanders emerges to lead their ticket against President Donald Trump.

In a historically old presidential field, candidates refuse to release health records

LAS VEGAS —In the run-up to the 1976 presidential campaign, Sen. Frank Church of Idaho revealed that cancer had claimed his left testicle. Jimmy Carter disclosed that he had trouble swallowing due to an allergy to beans and Swiss cheese. And when he ran for president in 2000, John McCain released more than 1,000 pages of medical records, including a psychiatric report that divulged his "histrionic personality."

At that moment in time, the idea of telling the national media to pound sand on the matter of his medical records was not reality,” said former McCain adviser Steve Schmidt. “There was a sense of obligation and responsibility still attached to the pursuit of the presidency.”

Today, that sense of obligation has vanished. A little over three years ago, at age 70, Donald Trump became the oldest person to win the presidency after a campaign in which he released only a letter from his doctor attesting to his “astonishingly excellent” health. Now, the contenders for the Democratic nomination — the oldest field in U.S. history — are following his lead.

Four of the six major Democratic candidates are 70 or older, and Sen. Bernie Sanders, the polling leader, suffered a heart attack about five months ago — an episode he at first failed to disclose. But the candidates, for the most part, have declined to release full dossiers on their health, relying instead on the Trumpian physician testimonial.

Former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg, for example, has released a single page from his doctor declaring the 78-year-old in “great physical shape” and noting that he “plays golf avidly” and has a pilot’s license.

Former vice president Joe Biden has released a three-page letter describing him as a “healthy, vigorous 77-year-old male.”

Sanders, 78, has released letters from three doctors, including a cardiologist who expressed confidence that the senator from Vermont “has the mental and physical stamina to fully undertake the rigors of the presidency.” Despite the heart attack, Sanders has refused to provide additional information, and a campaign spokeswoman has branded questions about his health a “smear” similar to false claims that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

The fourth septuagenarian, 70-year-old Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, has released five pages of documents revealing her blood pressure (115/57) and thyroid condition, along with a doctor’s letter declaring her in “excellent health.”
