I condemn any racist or violent comments made by either side. Please don’t “you guys” me.
I apologize for “you guys” but here we are.. discussing a low level sanders employee and condemning his campaign for the exact same things that the trump campaign did itself and I don’t remember anyone similarly condemning trump

If these are just low-level staffers, why have all the high-level Sanders people clammed up and closed their social media, instead of answering this directly?

I wasn’t aware of anyone on the Trump campaign saying racist things, and as soon as I was aware, I condemned it.

You, in the other hand, haven’t condemned any of the things said by campaign officials for Bernie. Instead, you’re trying to make it sound like it’s no big deal when his organizers call for violence against people like me.

I think it’s a big deal when anyone directly connected with a campaign — a paid organizer, for instance — says racist or violent things. I am not sure why you have such trouble simply agreeing with me.

I have condemned calls for violence from all sides consistently throughout the history of this forum. I’m a pacifist except in very specific circumstances of which political differences does not qualify.

However, I have noticed a pattern of calling out political opponents for behavior that people’s own party has demonstrated without comment. This is but one example and the claim of being unaware strikes me as disingenuous when I know you to be an avid news follower and these reports dominated the news cycle for quite some time. And I’m staying this not specifically to you but as an overarching theme I’ve seen on a national (and I guess international) level. But for some reason it seems to be a more fervent inclination apparant most egregiously in trump supporters. Idk why.

And there is a push to be able to vote over the internet? Um, no thanks!

This is just absurd... yet again. Sanders should just run independent. I can’t stomach this twice
I am surprised he hasn't done that. I guess it's because the big $$$ is with the red and blue teams and it takes the big $$$ to be able to run a campaign and market the message these days.

Maybe. The other caveat is that an independent has NEVER won, not even teddy roosevelt when he ran independant and the concern is that all an independant run does is give the opponent (in this case trump) the win by splitting the opposition vote

Sanders isn’t taking big money donations

Still no winner declared in the Iowa primary. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been laughing since about midnight Eastern last night.

Serious question: If Bernie overcomes the DNC shenanigans and survives the Clinton hit squad to become the Democratic nominee, doesn’t that trigger a bunch of Democrat funding that’s put at his disposal for the presidential campaign? Is the source of that money clean? I’m going to look into this myself, but if that’s the case, do you think Bernie should use that money?

Where Bernie is concerned he’s more than ready to take another payout from the Democrats to take a dive.. they don’t want him taking any votes from the their Party just like the last election plus he’s only in the way of their agenda..the whole scene has already started to play out so it’s nothing but a repeat performance of the 2016 election... Most of his supporters will probably not vote at all or they’re switching to Trump..I’m already seeing this happen as well..it’s just my opinion but it’s pretty clear to me that this is the case.. I guess time will tell...

You think Bernie would take a payout?

He’s a pretty honest guy, as far as I can see. What makes you think this?

@Thunderian thats a great question and I honestly don’t know the answer to it. If that is the case, on principle he should refuse the money imo. He hasn’t needed their money thus far.

Also he didn’t get bought off and I’d love to see even an iota of proof of that

It's been a long time I wanted to say that but Democrats should be ashamed of themselves, it's almost like they want people to find new reasons to laugh at them. It's embarassing and it becomes more and more obvious that they can't form what could ressemble to a decent opposition.
