"Let’s be realistic: Trump had to pay Israel something in exchange for having deprived her of WW3, at least temporarily. He is certainly aware that, in the last 70 years, no U.S. president unfriendly to Israel has won a second term, and that some of them have been forcibly replaced by their Zionist vice-president (since Lyndon Johnson, this seems to have become the main purpose of the vice-president). By his recent pro-Israel decrees, he gained the gratitude of Netanyahu and the support of Sheldon Adelson for a second term. But that was not enough, it seems. With his recent strike against Iran’s military leadership, he may have finally caved in their most pressing demand. By doing so, he may have actually exhausted his usefulness for Israel, and at the same time, lost the support of a crucial part of his voters. If he loses in 2020, he will retire with his well-deserved Cyrus medal—and an Ahasuerus medal too."- Laurent Guyenot

^ this is the cost of war, just to start. While trump plays golf at his golf course (paid for by the families who are saying goodbye to their loved ones as we speak).

If trump had flown to the Middle East and slit his throat himself it would be one thing, but risking lives when your safely and securely coddled against danger is another. The rest of us can’t afford to pay off drs to diagnose us with bone spurs.

If Israel wanted a war with Iran...they didn’t need trump to start it. I’m fact Bibi was distancing himself from trumps actions because he doesn’t want war with Iran.

Obama was unfriendly to Israel and very cozy to her enemies and he won a second term...so what are you talking about?

Ayatollah says damp squib revenge raid for Soleimani's assassination is 'not enough' after Iran ineffectually fires 22 ballistic missiles at two US bases in Iraq - but fails to kill anyone

Why fight wars yourself when you can get someone else to do it for you?

I don’t see how this was Israel trying to get the US to fight a war...they weren’t even involved. Besides it looks like Iran may have calmed down...their foreign minister says he doesn’t want war.

We do not seek escalation or war': Iran's foreign minister says it has 'concluded' retaliation after Tehran targets US troops in missile attacks as Trump tweets 'all is well' and says he will deliver statement today

You posted about the families of the Fort Bragg soldiers and I posted an article about the soldiers themselves.
An article which said effectively nothing. I’m not sure what you were trying to say with it. Yeah, young kids who were never deployed may be excited about it. Your article also said the older soldiers were more somber.

Sure they were more somber but that’s their job and they were gonna do their job.

That the soldiers didn’t seem all that broken up about leaving...they are gonna go do their job.

They talked to how many soldiers in that article? You really are something... do you know any military members? Military wives? Yes it is their job that doesn’t mean they should be used for and have to risk their lives for pointless endeavors?

Probably the same amount of families for your article?

It is their job and they know that they can get called anywhere. I would imagine her it all started they were preparing themselves to leave the US, that’s what they do.

Do you know any soldiers? Any military wives? Do you have any compassion or concern or is it all just a “job” for you and the lives actually effected disposable cannon fodder?

Their job is to protect Americans. This is outside their job description. We are under no direct threat and the only threat we are under at all WE CREATED. And if we weren’t there would cease to exist

It’s their job and I would think any wife would have to deal with that fact. They must know that their men could be deployed at any time in case the US finds themselves in a military situation. Maybe they don’t like it, but you’d still have to deal with it.

Their job is to go anywhere the commander in chief sends them really.

It’s tough getting along with anybody but I would think it very tough to get along with other nations especially ones that have held your people as hostages before and chant death to your country more times than not. Sometimes your comeuppance comes when you don’t expect it.

So their lives are just disposable cannon fodder to you. Good to know.

Given the American love for human rights such as "freedom of speech" I would have fought that chanting "death to America" is quite permissible. Maybe actually trying to bring it about is not such a good idea but wishing for the fall of the evil empire and burning a few flags doesn't seem so heinously immoral to me.

As for things like the hostage situation which was when, like, the 70's I think? Compare that to all the shit "uncle sam" has done in South America and elsewhere for the sake of the mighty dollar and the beloved corporation...
