I just finished Jane Eyre
View attachment 24404
I thought it was an interesting book and was surprised that the book had a lot of talk about God. I have to admit that I was only interested in reading it because I had bought some tea called Bronte Sisters tea and I liked the tea..lol!
It's a classic! If you like movies, see the one with Michael Fassbender as Mr. Rochester. He's way too good looking to be Mr. Rochester, who was supposed to be rather unremarkable actually.

No doubt since Mr. Rochester is supposed to be ugly as is Jane Eyre.

I bought a book titled Organized Violence: Capitalist Warfare in Latin America and I am curious to read it all.

Official stories say that violence in Latin America is a product of criminal activity and the drug trade. Organized Violence exposes how that narrative serves corporate and state interests and de-politicizes events that have more to do with logistics infrastructure, social control, and the extractive industries than with cocaine. Global capital and violence reinforce conditions that fortify the current economic order, and whether it be the military, police, or death squads that pull the trigger, economic expansion benefits from repressive activities carried out under the guise of fighting crime.

A friend recently high recommend “The Four Agreements.” Ordered it tonight. Have any of y’all read it? Thoughts? They said we can discuss it after I read it since it’s “hard to explain” which immediately had me intrigued.

Bought and look forward to reading Red River Girl: The Life and Death of Tina Fontaine. It's about the unsolved murder of an indigenous teenager and the detective determined to find her killer. It's a true story.

Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators by Ronan Farrow. Anyone read this new book? I am curious.

In a dramatic account of violence and espionage, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Ronan Farrow exposes serial abusers and a cabal of powerful interests hellbent on covering up the truth, at any cost.

...The Bush Crime Family by Roger Stone....

...I seriously needed to read this book in the worst way...

...Sadly, I fell for GHWB's "bumbling, kindly-grandfatherly, harmless gentleman from Kennebunkport" image and schtick...
...and I fell for GWB's "good-ol'-boy from Midland, Texas"..."who was pretty good at business and being Governor" fiction...
...Jeb never impressed me anyway... but figured he must have something on the ball to be Governor of Florida...

...I could not have been more wrong, on all counts... the entire Bush family is filthy-dirty and full-bore corrupt, going back generations.... I just couldn't see it, or didn't want to....

.... the Skull and Bones membership and the pics of GHWB and GWB in attendance at (multiple) meetings of the Bohemian Grove satanic globalists, and the many images of the entire GWB family showing the "Devil Horn" sign at inappropriate times and occasions (ie: when NOT in attendance at a University of Texas/Longhorns/"Hook 'em Horns" football game, for example), caused me to start thinking that I'm missing some very important puzzle pieces....

...I'm wincing and shaking my head in disbelief with every page... true and total evil, masquerading as true American patriots....
what was I thinking!?!?!
